Dear Colleagues,maybe you’ve encountered similar issue and will be able to explain such a behaviour of the system IFS10 EE. When matching invoice with return for credit transactions system displays an error of wrong requirements for a delivery account (95%00). The issue is that one of code string value is missing - in our company it’s a mandatory Cost Type. After checking the return transactions (NRETCREDIT) in Distribution and Manufacturing Posting Analysis it turns out that Cost Type is present in all of them and they are transferred without errors. However, Cost Type was missing in the original transactions of arrival (ARR-NONINV).   Error does not occur if original transactions have Cost Type and invoice is matched with return for credit transactions without problems, acquiring all necessary code string code part values.  For me such a behaviour is confusing as correction invoices refer to return transactions not original ones. We currently run the print agent from APPS8 and have run into many problems. We suspect that it has to do with the version of windows server we are using (2019). It used to run fine on WinServer 2008, but due to security reasons we have been forced to move to WinServer 2019. They want us to move to a more current version but I fear the problems will persist, or even get worse.The first printer defined on the APPS8 agent prints fine. Other printers defined in the config file, create a file with the name of the last printer port defined. I suspect if we could use the newer .NET print agent, it would not have the same problem. However, I don’t know if it would be compatible with APPS8, or if there is even a way to get it without having APPS10.Any suggestions would be welcome.

Hi allThe customer hasn’t contract change management. And this module hasn’t been setup and deployed.The customer has setup Sales Contract.After a service update, it’s not possible to create and save a Sales Contract, because users have the error message  “the CCO_CHANGE_CAPTURING LEVEL field has not been populated”.The field is not available in the Sales Contract Windows.It is not possible to add the field, from the Navigator page. Is it a Bug ? or something the partner forgot ? Thanks

Hi all,I have a question regarding the possibilities of BPA. We have a customer that would like to see an informative message if some conditions are met. This means we are going to compare two values and if they are different from each other we want to inform the user of this. In BPA we have the Validate type which can be used to perform a validation. Except when using the “Terminate End Event” in the workflow the workflow will block the user from saving the record as this is an error message. Is there another way to do this validation, but not to show an error message but an informative message? Because we still want to save the change. Since the check is on a custom attribute, I found out that a custom event on the custom field table with online SQL is not working. The Client_Sys.Add_Info is not working in that case. That is the reason we are looking at BPA as a solution.  Kind regards,Michael 

Hello Everyone, seeking your thoughts in here.I am trying to deliver a Non inventory sales part using a customer order. I assumed if we release the order then I can directly deliver the parts as the part is non inventory. This works if the wanted delivery date is the current date.But If I create the customer order with the wanted delivery date as a future date. After releasing, I cannot perform the delivery until I perform the Reserve customer order even though its non inventory sales part. If not “Non inv Sales part Qty to deliver” field is not updated with the order line Qty.  If the Wanted delivery date is current date If wanted delivery date is future dateIn quick order flow handling shows the next step as reserve. If I perform the reservation generally. It updates the Non inv qty to deliver field and then I can deliver the order. Same behaviour can be seen in App10.Is there any explanation for this behaviour? Or am I missing any setting? Appreciate your thoughts on this. Thanks,Ch

How do we configure server side printing of reports in a stock environment?  We have a Domain user, The network Printer is connected to the Server running the FSM application 

When new Presentation objects are granted in Apps 10, this expands to grant APIs as required.Where is this information stored within the application ? Similarly, when granting Projections in IFS Cloud, this also expands to include affected pages etc.Where can I find this information in IFS Cloud ? Many thanks. 

Hi all,Is there a way to restrict user from registering /altering time in project time registration after a certain date ?We would like to implement in IFS that after the 1st of each month , employees can't add or change their time reporting please?In financials you could  close an accounting period and is there a way  you close time reporting as well ?Your kind input is highly appreciated.Thank you Udanee

I am responsible for training my Purchasing Dept in IFS Cloud.  I have shown them how to create PRs, RFQ, POs, how the flow works from one into the other.  I know that we can look at MRP Action Proposals and MRP Action Prop. Workbench.  I understand the Top Down and Bottom Up part info.  But what I cannot wrap my head around is what to tell them to do when they first start their day.  Should a buyer just use the Operational Buyer lobby and respond to messages there?  Should a buyer look at MRP messages and act from there?  I have really had no understanding of a clear path of what to do first.

Hello IFS Community. we are looking for (an easier) way to show repairs with following attributes is IFS:- Repair  done on customer site, not in company facility- Part is serial object and has again items with serial no. in it’s BOM that will  be replaced- Part is embedded in functional / serial object structure in Equipment Object Navigator- Part is customer owned What we did so far: - Create Case for relevant customer - Create task to start return / repair measure- Create hand over reference: Work Order (Important to do on Site where part was manufactured, not where is was sold)- Enter necessary part in Tab: Returns, respecting serial number.- RMB: Return to inventory, as company owned (customer owned, which should be correct, seems not to allow to use for repair shop orders)- Do repair shop order using Tab: Multilevel Repair Structure- Enter repaired part in WO: Tab: Materials and issue manually to customer again, close WO afterwards(This is not complete of course but hopefully let

We have a situation where in both 22R1 and now 22R2, the reporting pods need to be restarted several times a month.  Has anyone else encountered this or know what may be the cause?When it occurs:We see that print jobs go into Waiting status inside IFS.  No errors are seen but depending on what/how they are printing, some users get a message that the print is taking time and will be completed as a background job.  Checking the status of the pods, no errors or bad status is shown.  Everything appears fine.Performing a stop and then a start on the ifsapp-reporting-<id> pod immediately starts processing the jobs again.The problem occurs mostly when we have heavier volumes (most of which are actually PDF) are being printed.Here is what we have tried so far to resolve, which doesn’t appear to have made any difference:Created a dedicated “In Sequence” report message queue and message queue (instead of “In Parallel” to try to avoid contention) for the jobs being sent to the NO_PRINTOUT p

Trying to create a new calendar, I set up new Day Type, New Schedule and a new calendar and when I try and generate the calendar, I receive an error saying “The Work Time Counter does not exist.”  Not sure what I am missing.

Currently in IFS cloud I have imported my Translations into the "PROJ” component, but when I change my language to Swedish, the translations do not reflect.However, upon further investigation, I realized that the exact same fields were available in the "CONFIG” component as well. When I re-added all the translations to this component, the translations reflected on the page.The page has only one custom field on it but when I checked the path, all the core fields were also available. Please let me know why my core fields have to be re-translated in the CONFIG component!Thanks

 How can I invoice non inventory sales part lines at the same moment as a shipment?Example:Customer Order has 2 lines, 1 with an inventory part and 1 non inventory part. Shipments are used to send the inventory part to customer. Invoicing should include the non inventory part at the moment of shipping the inventory part, but as it is non inventory it is not shipped so a manual action is needed to get it delivered and invoiced which is error prone and inefficient due to the transaction volume.

In Apps 10 UPD I have Sales Processes set up with Validation Type ‘STOP’ on All Actions.The Guidance in IFS says this:However, users are able to move to the next Action or next stage without the first Stage being completed.  Have I failed to set something up?I do not want users to be able to move to the the Stage until the previous one is completed. Can anyone advise as all IFS guidance says it should not move on.  ThanksTrudy  

Hello,I currently am trying to send an email via a workflow, so whenever my custom event and custom event action get triggered, my workflow sends an email.How do I go about doing this? I’ve tried using a projection call “GetDefaultsForSendMail: SendMailDefaultsStruct” for BusinessOpportunityHandling as this is what is called when the email button for Business Opportunities is clicked.  I noticed that in logs, this causes cmd prompts to get triggered when clicking the button, which opens up outlook to write a draft for an email, but I’d like to automatically generate and send an email without manual interaction. Is there a way to do this?Thanks,Bryan

Recently in the Application Monitoring console we have noticed a large number of unsynchronised application search documents.  I am able to bring up the details of these but have not yet found a way to synchronise them and clear the system alert. We are on Apps10 update 20.  All of the scheduled database tasks around document management appear to be running without error, but none of these clear the growing issue.Any ideas on how to resolve this are appreciated.

Hi all,We are implementing Aurena and doing some testing and I have a shop order where the start date and finish dates are the same. The routing is set up with no M/C run time and a Labour run time of 240 hours.The need date is 3 months in the future.Reardless of the direction of scheduling should the operation hours be reflected in the Start date and finsh date, i.e. 240 hours different. Thereofre with a need date of 21/10/24 and backward scheduling have a finish date of 18/10/24 and a Start date of 06/09/24 Thanks in advance
