Hello I’m getting a weird error which I can’t fix.On IFS Cloud 24r1, I added a command Execute Action on Non Conformance Report page.The action is a custom one on a custom oracle package, referenced into IFS throught metadatas.So I can pick the package / action on the NonConformanceHandling Projection. When I click on the command, I got the following error : NonConformance/Form (server error)Illegal operation.Server stack trace error(s): Client Warnings are not supported for the action [Cf_Release]. We are experiencing an issue with IFS where customer orders are being placed on credit hold during shipment completion by the logistics department, preventing them from closing shipments. Our standard procedure is for credit limit checks to occur during order release by customer service, followed by credit team review and release if necessary.Recently, however, logistics has reported frequent instances of orders being blocked upon attempting to complete shipments. Could you please confirm if there are specific settings within the customer setup that determine when IFS performs credit limit checks and applies credit holds? Specifically, are there any settings that could trigger these checks during shipment completion?Following was set up in basic data and only credit checks at order release and not in any other points Thanks

Hi, We discovered an issue with a RMA of an order line of a serialized part. (We work in IFS-cloud)We sold a serialized part which now has been returned and we need to dismantle into components (some of them serialized too).The RMA was received into arrival and now that we want to identify the Serials before moving it to stock, we get an error “The current position Xpart_noX, XserialX is issued.I think in this case that the RMA is connected to a CO line that has a serial delivered to it, should recognize that the serial part is being returned and not asking for a new serial or saying that the serial is not possible to return.Do you guys have an idea why would this be happening or/and a workaround to solve the issue? Thanks in advance.

Hello,We are currently facing an issue where the MPL voucher has a balance in Parallel currency and as a result it is impossible to update the MPL voucher to the GL.  IFS Version – APP10 UPD11PO created in currency EUR for an inventory part. Accounting currency of the company is USD & Parallel currency is NGN (Nigerian Naira).Parallel currency base for the company = Transaction Currency.GR done & inventory transaction has been transferred to Finance. MPL voucher stuck in Voucher Entry screen with Not Approved state. When you try to Approve you get the error “Voucher with status approved must be in balance”. As highlighted below there is a balance remaining in Parallel currency. Appreciate if anyone could advise what is the best way to fix this issue.

Hi All,We have situation where  executive management board travels frequently and uses their credit cards for all travel-related expenses.The Travel Group, located within the Finance department, has been tasked with handling all expenses for the top managers.However, since the credit cards are set up as reimbursable, the Finance employees, who have access to some employee data, cannot see the transactions. This presents a significant problem for us.Currently, we have assigned the credit card to one employee in Finance, but this means that all expenses for top management must be handled by this individual, which is not ideal.We are looking for a solution within IFS that allows multiple employees to manage expenses and credit card transactions for others.Could someone advice how to handle this situation. 

Hello, Does anyone knows if it is possible to match automatically the supplier invoice line with the certificate generated from a sub contract?  I used posting proposals and it is possible only to match the certificate manually.  Thank you for your help,Cristina 

When creating a customer order that is having a Credit control group assigned to a customer with following setup(Credit check enabled at Release Order / Create picklist / Deliver Order) After creating a customer order when the user is trying to create the picklist at shipment window the order getting blocked if the credit limit is exceeded as it’s enabled to be credit checked at the pick list creation. But in a scenario of the user wants to unblock the order using Handle blocked orders and continue with the warehouse operation to arrange the shipment by creating the picklist, the system is blocking the order again as it’s stopping the order flow.  So, if the user wants to complete the picking and proceed to the shipment, The subject customer’s credit control group should be released from the whole credit check.

Do we have a simple explanation of what Backflush means?

Do we have a functionality in IFS to register charges/costs in Shipment Orders (no customer order link)? The company may use Courier service company (e.g uber) to move parts between different sites in the same company and the cost want to be registered.  Thank you!

Hi,I have a many places with multiple products linked to each (with a product_id and modeli_id), each product_id has a fixed Product_PM coverage end date (for example 31.12.2024). This end date prevents users from creating new tasks or inspections because it it is expired or if it is earlier than the current date.Manually modifying the coverage end date automatically triggers slots and updates to the PM schedules which is fine. With Sql update query it changes the coverage end date but not triggering new slots in PM schedule.Problem: I need to update the coverage end date for 1,000 of product_id’s for 1000 places.any possible solution would be helpful.Thanks and Regards,Akshay. 

I sold a finished product with a serial number to a customer. A component part of the sold finished product was sent back to me for repair. The component part that was sent back to me also has a serial number. I will send a replacement for this part.The customer did not send me the entire finished product , only a part of it, which is our main issue.I cannot reopen the shop order I used to produce the finished product and unissue the component part underneath it, because it is a very old shop order, and the cost calculations for that period have already been made.However, the component part also needed to be entered into my inventory. I received this component part into my inventory with a Return Material Authorization.I manufactured a new spare part and shipped it to the customer.Now, I cannot use this returned serial-numbered component part in another weapon, because it gives me an error saying that “Serialized component  <my component part an

Hello Everybody,I have a Custom LU with the related Custom View.The Custom View is a Custom Tab in Customer.In the Custom LU there is a Custom Field named “CF$_STATUS”. Is it possible to show in the View ONLY the rows with CF$_STATUS = ‘Active’ by default ?IEE App 10 Update 17Thanks.

I know I’ve seen this before but I can’t find it under the normal spots that I was looking. I’m trying to find the service update documentation on what is fixed with each patch and it’s normally in an excel file. Can someone link me the post in the resources? Everything that I can find is not the file that I’m looking for. I’m trying to evaluate what the service updates are fixing. I’m specifically looking for 24R1 as well.

While closing the accounting period, system is showing error as “Transactions waiting to be transferred from Distribution and/or Manufacturing”There are no transactions pending to transferred in Distribution and Manufacturing Posting Analysis Screen Also checked Inventory Transactions History screen to check for any Erroneous Postings but there are also no transactions   

Is there an out of the box function to determine which customer order lines have had the promise date reviewed prior to confirming back to the customer? Our current process:Customer service enters customer order line. By default, the promise date is initially set the same as the Planned Delivery Date. Planning reviews the order line and revises the Target, Planned Delivery, and Promise Dates as needed. Customer service sends order confirmation back to the customer. Planning needs to be able to query for order lines that haven’t been reviewed/promised. I’m considering adding a custom checkbox to indicate the order has been promised but want to verify if there’s a standard process for this.  Thanks!Eric

I need some advice from a production schedule guru. I am running a production schedule and midstream, I want to change a component in the structure and then keep running the production schedule.  The component is a lot controlled item.  Any ideas as to how best do this?  I know I can edit components midstream but I need to do a report against the production schedule to allow this.  Also, I am swapping one lot controlled component to another component.Any guidance you may have will be appreciated!

HelloSource project start 01/04/2025 and early finish 01/06/2025With new project I use this existing project BUT with Planned start 01/04/2025 and PLANNED FINISH at 01/09/2025  using “Copy based on Early Start/ Early finish” the enterered planned finish 01/09/2025 is not taken into account and calculates 13/06/2025 17:00 as Planned Finish. What is the process of this calculation ?

When a user decides to Restore Defaults (within the Column Chooser), what defaults does it restore to?  Does is use a system defined default or does it default to the settings of the context to which the user is assigned?Thanks /PatrickP:S. We have some parts where we have to pay the supplier an excise tax fee.  We typically purchase a part in a UOM of an Each with a purchase UOM of a Pound, and then we have an inventory conversion rate to get it to the Inventory UOM of a Pound.  The purchase charge is a rate at a per Pound unit charge.  I don’t know if something changed when we updated to version 24R1, but some charges I had set up before are showing the charge amount as a Unit Charge in a pound Price UOM.  I am now seeing where I added some recent charges, and the UOM is pulling in as an Each.  It does not look like I am able to update the UOM.  Where does the UOM for the Charge rate pull from and is there a way to change that?
