When performing the Preliminary Year End to take 2024 balances to 2025 I get the error message of “The ID has no codestring”.  We have a total of 4 companies and I was able to do the process on the other three but not on this one.  I’m not sure where to look to see what ID is missing this information.  Any suggestions? 

I have an existing enumeration (A) which only shows the values depending on values of another enumeration.(B)I now have another enumeration in A to add and only show that drop down value if Enum B is of a certain value   

Hi all, Currently trying to sync some users into an IFS Cloud environment through Azure User Provisioning and ideally we dont want the Person record to be created along with the User. Does anyone know of a way this can be done - if possible? I’ve tried un-mapping the person attributes in Azure however, it errors saying that X attribute is needed for creation of the Person record. Any help appreciated, thanks!

Dear all,Does anyone know in which scenarios it is necessary to perform a refresh of project connections? I have a customer who occasionally experiences issues that are resolved with such a refresh, but this occurs very rarely. What I’d like to know is what can cause disturbances in project connections that require this kind of refresh to prevent issues.Thanks for your help.

Hi,Is there a method to book or block a tool, ensuring that it is not simultaneously used for another task? From my understanding, it is currently not possible to automatically schedule and reserve a tool from the PSO since tool/equipment resources are not considered Scheduling Resources.However, within the Standard Task, it is feasible to insert a demand line of type Tool/Equipment, although this must be manually allocated.How can I view the calendar of these tools to determine their usage, and how can I ensure that no other task utilizes the tool on the same time?Thanks,Stefania

The business would like to implement a process for reclaiming Parts Warranty.  They are wanting to track where a Part has failed within a 12month period after fitting to a Serial Object. The items are purchased against a Serial Object via Work Orders and issued as Materials. We want to track if the same Part Number against the same Serial Object is issued again within the 12months to flag to the User that the Item should be considered under warranty. How can we achieve this?  We are working within Apps 10 IEE. Thanks in advanceLisa

Hey Community,we set up standard calculation for purchase parts in a way that material costs are calculated based on average purchase price. Therefore, we set up a separate Cost Template, with separate Cost Bucket and an cost Element for Material Overhead (with rate for Material OVH).With this setup, if we calculated the purchase part itself, only Material Costs are calculated. If we calculated the manufactured part where the purchase part is used (in structure), IFS included the Material ovh in the calculation of the manufactured part. That works fine for us.Question is, we have also trading goods. For that kind of parts we set up separate Cost Template, with separate cost Buckets and Cost Element. Since that kind of parts are also purchase parts, settings are same like for purchase parts we use for manufacturing. Based on that, we never get an Material OVH calculated since that part are not used in manufacturing. But this is what we want for trading goods.So, how to set up costing fo

Hi all,Firstly thank you for your help in advance. I’m looking for a bit of guidance on what is hopefully an easy fix.  I’m looking to apply some conditional formatting to a table, based on the value (number) of a particular column being the “highest” in the column. Naturally right clicking on the appropriate column header>”conditional formatting” allows me to apply basic logic such as  > “higher than”, however is anyone aware of a “value”/formal which would simply highlight the largest number in the column? Many thanks

We took the GDPR module in use in Apps9 and have used it with success. The challenge is making sure the data is solid before taking action. We had a custom quick report in use to see whose personal data would be handled (deleted or anonymized as per configs) and when. This report functions different now in Apps10 and needs to be remade.IFS core functionality for checking the situation beforehand was based on email notification in a way where one message per user per company per data entity (employee, person) per purpose was created. We tried it once and got over 2000 emails and do not want to use it ever again.What other verification methods are you using before the purges?`The aim is to make sure no premature deletions or anonymizations would be made and we’d like to see when and whose data gets handled. This is where the report is a nice way to do it, to have overall view at once whenever needed What other ways you are using? Does IFS Cloud have better core way than Apps9/10?

Hi, When a new create a Asset from autocreation from PO  for Company Owned Rental Asset, the Inventory Transaction History is created with zero cost and no postings. Therefore in the Supplier Invoice the Asset need to be manually posted to activate the object.Is this the standard behavior?Thanks

Hi,Does anyone know where (or whether) a link is recorded between two related/opposite inventory transactions in the database? This is for reporting purposes on stock movements.For example, if I move some stock from one location to another location, two transactions are created: an INVM-OUT transaction at the location the stock was moved from, and an INVM-IN transaction at the location it was moved to.However, I’ve been unable to find anywhere in the database that actually links these two transaction IDs, making reporting difficult when I want to show both the From and To Locations for a single stock movement.Is there a link between these transactions in the database? If so, I imagine this would be stored in a mapping table, but I haven’t been able to find one so far.I’d appreciate any input anyone could provide.Thanks!Wilf

The feature of allowing an operation quantity on a shop order to be less than the lot size of the shop order was introduced in Cloud 23R2. This is controlled on individual shop order operations by the new attribute Manual Operation Qty (Yes/No). This will be beneficial when a partial quantity needs to run through a one-off rework operation on the same manufacturing shop order.Manual Operation Qty can be set on Standard Operations, Routing Template Operations, and Routings of type Repair, Disassembly, Remanufacturing and Disposition.Why is this feature not available on Routings of type Manufacturing? A common use case is when testing is its own operation, but the full lot size will never need tested and reported as the completed quantity. The ability to set this in the Routing rather than manually on the manufacturing shop order would be an improvement.

Hi,  I’m wanting to use the automation between Sales Contracts and Business Opportunities - whereby when I create a Business Opportunity and then create a Sales Contract from that Business Opportunity, if I add or remove lines on my Sales Contract the Business Opportunity is updated. This works really well for having an accurate pipeline etc. with no duplication of data entry between the BO and SC. However, once the Sales Contract is activated and we create a Project using the Sales Contract - I no longer want the link between the Business Opportunity and the Sales Contract. I would need the Business Opportunity to become “static” a bit like once you create a Customer Order from a Business Opportunity, it doesn’t auto update.  Is there any way to achieve this using OOTB? Why would customers want to the BO to be continuously updated AFTER an active Project is linked to the Sales Contract (which is linked to a Business Opp).  Struggling to see the use case for this functionality.  Curren

I have searched through the IFS menus...and have not found how to view a standard projection. This seems very odd that it is not easy to find the information. I can see Projections that are custom defined - the associations and key mappings etc. That is not a problem. I have created several of these now - as ‘New’ Or ‘Configure Standard’ types. So how do I see the standard projection - in the same way as I can view the custom projection, like below.  

We have a client using the B2B Supplier Portal (for Cloud) and we are utilizing Document Structures for all of the drawings needed to manufacture all the subcomponents of a Purchase part. The Parent Document is connected to the Purchase Part.  It will be visible on the B2B Portal.  Is there a way to have the documents in the consists of Tab of the Document Revision automatically be shown in the Attachments.  I have tried Object Transformations using the source LU (DocStructure) and the Destination LU (DocIssue), but the transformation does not work. Thanks,Gregg 

Dear community, I am attempting to use a FunctionV2 call to GetResourceGroups from the NewEmploymentHandling screen, however I cannot work out how to use the $filter with this? Can anyone advise how I can use something like $filter=(ResourceId eq ‘RES01’) with this? or is it even possible. I have it working in Postman no problem with a Get call. Any help would be great. Dave  

Hi, Could someone encounter the error message below when trying to roll back a completed CAPEX project in the cloud?   In EE, we successfully executed the rollback feature for a completed project within the same month without encountering this error. However, this time, we discovered that, to successfully roll back the project, we needed to roll back the object transactions and deactivate the object. Does anyone know if this is a new requirement in the cloud version?

We’ve begun exploring using digital signatures on our Purchase Orders recently. We want User Signatures to be used for our buyers, and we want a Common Signature to be used for non-purchasing staff. To clarify, if Jane Smith from Purchasing prints a PO, we want Jane Smith’s signature to print on the PO. But, if John Doe who works in Project Management prints a PO, we want our common signature to print on the PO. I’ve set up two keystores for each scenario - one for a buyer and one for a common certificate - and I’ve been able to get both of them printing on a PO.  The problem I’m having is I’m not sure how to write a  report rule condition to:Check if a user has their own keystore value.  If yes, print the PO with the user signature If no, print the PO with the common signatureIt seems like something like this should work: But it’s not working, and the documentation I’m reviewing here doesn’t include a lot of examples for configuring report rule conditions. Could the community share any recommended workarounds or best practices to adjust the invoiceability of employee company MCPR transaction invoicability after they have been registered?As we understand it, once a project transaction has been registered, it is not possible to change its invoiceability directly in the project transaction view or reviewed in the project transaction review view.However, we are encountering on a regular basis situations where the original invoiceability of a transaction is incorrect and we cannot correct it.The reasons for incorrect invoiceability are the following:User error: invoiceability incorrectly defined for the activity report code. We are trying to become ISO certified and for that we need to have better traceability.  I’m finding if we turn on lot tracking, we have to create all new part numbers because the system would lock up since all the current products don't have lot information.  Is this an accurate statement of what will happen, and connected is there an option to start manually putting in a lot number for products, so eventually when we turn on Lot Tracking it wont cause issues.  From a quality perspective I want to be able to locate a finished product and digitally trace it back to the raw materials.  I just don't know if there is a middle group between the forced lot process and nothing. Thanks in advance

However, the key difference is that we are using IFS Cloud.For Customer ZZZZ, we have both a delivery address and a document address configured. Despite this, we are unable to create customer orders for this specific customer.Has anyone else experienced this issue in IFS Cloud? If so, could you share the steps or solution that worked for you?
