Dear Team, I would like to understand the following behavior in IFS when it comes to the cash transfer method. When defining a cash box cash account in the cash account screen we are not allowed to use the cash transfer method as “Cash Transaction”We receive the following error.    However, if we provide the cash transfer method as “cash transaction” in Cash box screen line level system will allow to proceed.   Could you please help us to understand the difference. Thank you.

Hello We have a voided check that we would like to unvoid. Is there a way to do this? There is an optin to set status to printed. Would that unvoid the check?  Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Can someone explain how the confirmation reminder is triggered, because based on the help function in IFS a confirmation reminder will be created based on a specific days before delivery.To my opinion it will be more useful to trigger based on a specific days after release a purchase order. Because you want to be sure a supplier received the purchase order and you want to have that the order is confirmed for delivery.Is the option based on release purchase order possible to setup, or is this a hard coded IFS setting? Thanks in advance,Richard       

Hello,Is it possible to schedule the execution of an event to run it daily ?

I’m wondering if someone could help.We have multiple companies setup within IFS. Only one of them currently uses the application to complete the pension contributions for their employees. We’re wanting to setup another company to use the standard pension contributions within IFS (X% employee and X% employer contributions) which uses qualifying earnings (all monthly pensionable pay between £X-£X) to calculate pension contributions.How do we set this up? I’ve checked a lot of documentation but can’t seem to suss it.ThanksR

Hello,In IFS Cloud 25R1, we are seeing issues related to navigation configuration. Using IFS Cloud, we have hidden some of the menu items in MWO application. In the earlier version, when we log into MWO, we were able to see the navigation menu’s in the same order as we have setup in Cloud.But in 25R1, we are able to see the same order in Cloud but in MWO it is being displayed in a different order. Please see the attached screenshots. There is no other context assigned to the service resource, we are only using the ‘global’ context. Is this a bug in 25R1 or is there a work around? Any thoughts would be appreciated. 

Hi,Using MWO with IFS Cloud 22R1, I noticed that the “Actual Worked Hours” are calculated using “Assignment Finish” date and time.Is it the expected behavior ?It make more sense to me that it would be calculated with “Work Finish” date and time.Kind regards,Lénaïc

Why do tentative structures show up on the multi level structure tab on the Product Structure page?Part Number 101793 has two product structures:  Rev 1 is buildable and Rev 2 is tentative.Both Rev 1 and Rev 2 show up on the multi level structure.I would have thought that only buildable structures are included in this view.  Any insight into what is and is not included in the multi level structure would be appreciated. Each color represents a component that’s in both Rev 1 and Rev 2 of 101793.  Rev 2 is tentative and I wouldn’t expect it to show up on this view.  

Is there a way to automatocally create a Case or service request from mail in Cloud   

When we log in to the Lifecycle Experience Center, we are required to perform MFA authentication.I understand that this MFA authentication is a setting on the Microsoft Entra ID side.Previously, MFA authentication could be performed via SMS, etc.However, it seems that the use of Microsoft Authenticator is now mandatory. After researching, I found that Entra ID has a setting called "Registration campaign," and if this is set, the use of Microsoft Authenticator is required.To change this setting, it seems that at least the role of authentication policy administrator is required.If a customer wants to change this setting, can they do so on their side?

Customer (Apps10 EE) wants to create a document revision without a file and in a field on the document revision enter a link to an external location where the file will reside. I recall doing this before custom fields were readily available, but I cannot recall where in the document revision the link was entered. Anybody have experience with this without using a custom field?

Hello Folks,I need some help to figure out if we have out of the box capability to store links against objects in IFS (e.g., POs, WOs etc.). Moreover, please note the expectation is that upon clicking these links users will be pointed to documents stored in an external share point. Ideally what we would like is when users open up the ‘Attachments’ panel in IFS (and let’s assume it is the ‘Prepare work order’ page) they will see a cue/information card (that holds an external link to the actual document stored in the external SharePoint) that will takes them to the document upon clicking it. Thanks very much! Sachitha D

Steps to recreate Shop Order error in IFS Cloud 24R2: Create shop order for a part with lot tracking, close code = Auto Close, and close tolerance > 50. On Shop Order > Lots/Batches, create more than one row and save. My example uses two lot batches. Complete all material issues, guideline sign offs, and all operations up to the final operation on the order. From Shop Floor Workbench, attempt to approve the final operation. In the Approve Operation dialog, enter expiration dates for the Lots/Batches to Receive, then click Finish. Receive error: “The order is closed and it is not possible to add anymore lots to the order”. At this point the SO status = Started, and nothing is received. Navigate to the Shop Order and change one of two things: Change Close Tolerance to <= 49. Change Close Code to Manually C

Subject: Is it possible to create a Purchase Requisition/Order directly from the "Inventory Parts with Shortage" screen?Hi Community,We are currently using IFS Applications 10 EE.Our planning team frequently uses the "Inventory Parts with Shortage" and "Resolve Shortages for Inventory Part" screens to monitor critical stock levels.However, when we identify a shortage, we want to be able to take immediate action to supply the material directly from these screens. Specifically, we are looking for an option in the Right Mouse Button (RMB) menu to "Create Purchase Requisition" or "Create Purchase Order" for the selected part.As seen in the attached screenshots, the standard RMB options currently allow us to "Resolve Shortages" (allocate existing stock), but there is no direct option to generate new supply (Purchasing) for the shortage quantity.

Why is sales commission included on two different reports?We have identified the same sale commission being applied to two different reports, but we cannot determine why.The screen shot below shows the same 10 lines of invoice number / customer order number on both commission report for Territory 22 and Territory 34.  Based on the information in the customer order, the commission should only be reflected in Territory 22.I’m not sure what to modify to eliminate the duplicates and ensure the commission goes to the right report. 

Hello everyone. We ran revenue recognition which indicates the actual costs of projects. For example below. Is there a way to find the cost detail that exactly makes up the actual costs in the revenue recognition?  Would appreciate any help or guidance.  

I have 90 different customer records for the same company with different billing addresses, because each customer record needs unique customer agreement and price lists. However, all 90 customer records could roll up into one “master” account. Is there a way to setup this up in IFS? If so, what is the best way to do this? I want to be able to see sales be each individual customer record but also rolled up into the “master” account with a sum of all sales from all 90.  Is there a video, documentation, or IFS Academy course to explain this? 

We are working with IFS Applications 10 and we need to allow certain users to modify the Purchase Lead Time of parts, but currently the field is read-only for them.Context Version: IFS Applications 10. Module: Purchasing / Inventory  Users: Planners / buyers who maintain item data. Current behavior Only users with high-level/administrative permission sets can change the Purchase Lead Time field on the part record. For normal users, the same field appears as read-only.
