Hi!We are trying to perform a site move in our Test environment using the “Perfrom Move of Site wizard”.But it can not go through,its just loading and after around 40 minutes it says “Request aborted”.Steps:Decide what Site and company.Then the wizard will run the analyze .Then the acutal move would take place, so Press next, and now it is trying to perform the site move but instead its just loading and the move is not performed. But when set up a scheduled task for the same function it can be runned in the background without any problems and takes about 10 minutes. Anyone who experienced the same problem?The wierd thing is that this have always worked before (last time before the summer) were we performed a site move./Albin

Make input mandatory in quick report

Hi everybody,I am trying to create a quick report in IFS Apps10. It is important to make the inpurt mandatory.Generally, I use the marked parameters. RECURSIVE CPU - 94%?

Apps 10 - UPD14. Hi All,Quick question, our Test instance is quite slow even though the Db (20gb SGA / PGA) and host machine (ODA Server) is adequately sized for the number of sessions / users - at any one time, there are only around 15 users using it.One thing that I have noticed is in the IFS System Monitoring console, the Recursive CPU is constantly at 94% - ‘Parse’ CPU never gets above 1% and ‘Others’ again never goes over 6%..Any idea why the ‘Recursive CPU’ is so high any SQL I can run to check to see why? Lobby appears in list with delay

Hi all, We are using IFS10, UPD9. We have a couple of lobby, that when searching for them appear like 5 - 10 seconds after the other lobbies. Does anyone know what is causing this and how we can improve/change this? For example the last lobby appeared later than all the others.

Report Check Static Area help

Hi All, I have a requirement on PRINT_CHECK_REP where the client wants to print the amount details in a lower area of a page with very strict dimensions, earlier developers have used a repeating footer element but it doesn’t achieve the purpose of the report. The report is designed in such a way that if the check pages exceeds one page these checks will be voided and IFS standard RDF code handles this with breaking the XML and creating new XML tags.Basically to achieve my requirement I can’t use a repeating footer as a table can’t be connected there, i need to access table specific values to achieve my requirement on a exact position. can i place a table cell on exact same position in a IFS report? I have increased the height of the previous cell but this doesn’t print well cause my upper table contains different count of data.Below is the previous dev with a static repeating footer. Hi,We would like to understand if lobby screens are used or not used by users. Is it possible to understand when a user uses a lobby screen last time? Do users use any lobby? Quick Report has a log table. So, we can get this information. However, we need to do this for lobbies.Thanks.

IFS Unusually Slow

IFS is unusually slow, to the point you can no longer use lobby elements or perform simple query's. For instance the same query/lobby takes less than 5 seconds on Production and on the Satellite its takes up to 5 minutes. The database ran the Query in a couple of milliseconds.Some further information:1. No network issues, there server runs on a local network onboard.2. slowness it experienced everywhere in the APP particularly Active Work Orders and Measurement Registration when loading records greater than 100 lines.3. I am performing simple query's such as select MCH_CODE, PARAMETER_CODE, TEST_PNT_SEQ from EQUIPMENT_OBJECT_NEW where MCH_CODE like '3111%' and PARAMETER_CODE = 'ALARM' 4. The environment was restarted last Friday however no changes were made5. This issue was noticed last week6. There is very low resource usage in the MWS i.e CPU less than 5%We refreshed the Server yesterday as well as cleared the dictionary cache. Anyone have similar issues or have any solutions? Many t

oradata has reached disk usage 90% level - how to find the problem objects?

We’re only 3 months live with Apps 10 UPD18 (hosted) and have had a proactive warning from IFS that “/oradata” has reached disk usage of 90%.I asked for more info and they gave us a list of the biggest objects:Looks like a HUGE (171GB in 3 months?!) problem with a particular LOB, but how do we interpret what a “SEGMENT_NAME” actually relates to in the system?I’ve gone back to Support to ask them for more info but if we can be self sufficient that would be good.

Fetch raw data to Azure

I'm going to set up an Azure BI solution that is intended to read raw data from IFS Cloud with Data Factory and place it in a data lake. Then read it into SQL Server and create own dim and fact tabels. Then create tabular models in Analysis Services that Power BI can read from.Is it possible to fetch tables directly with Data Factory using IFSINFO, or is it only possible to fetch from access views?How have others done your BI solutions and data retrievals from IFS Cloud?

Barcode/QR codes are not printed after applying UPD18 in APP10

After applying UPD18 Barcode/QR codes are not visible in any report. Even though data is coming to the field, report is not converting those data to Barcode/QR code. I have tried to print several different reports with barcodes and QR codes and all of those reports had the same problem. I have tried to print the same report with same layout in an environment with UPD16. In there all the Barcode/QR codes are displayed without any issues. Is this a known issue ? Is there a fix or a workaround for this issue ?

Dear all,in our company we have the situation that the RMB function “Send to - Mail Recipient as Link” doesn’t work properly. For some users it’s fine, other users get the error message that a standard email programm is missing.
