Which module contains screen frmEmployeeEquipmentCard?

In the Scope Tool there is an aspect in the Resource Planning area (IFS10). One of the screens is to issue equipment to an employee. The name is frmEmployeeEquipmentCard  Does anyone know from which module this screen is a part? How to access it (so which path to follow)? Regards,

Forum Logout

New user, registered and approved. Able to login just fine, but cannot find any kind of logout/logoff option.   Nothing helpful came up in search, so I made this post   I don’t see a good “sub forum’ choice available, so I’m going to try to post this without it, if it makes me pick something and it’s wrong, I’m sure a mod will move it.

Create Financial Project After the Project has been Approved

For some reason, the system did not create the Financial Project when the Project was setup and approved.  Is there a workaround to create the Financial Project  or some way to create the Financial Project manually and link back to the Project?

After creating a new Revision, the Revision No is 0

Hi community, in the following screenshot you can see a new Revision, with the Revision No.: 0 Logically, the system should continue counting with the next higher number instead of counting down. Even the IFS help says so: "The internal counter used to keep track of all revisions for a part. For each new revision, the counter is incremented by one. This is used to correctly order part revisions in forms and reports. This field cannot be updated manually." What happens here?   Thanks a lot for your help! Best regards Nadim

Create form and Table window

Hi, I want to create a new form window and also need to display the tabs which have table window.  In form window, showing some read only data and in tab window, user will enter manually with some auto fill which drive from header form window. i believe, there is no option to add tabs in Custom page. Is there any possibilities to create form window.? Currently we are using IFS 9 and soon we are going to update 10

Updating custom field via script

Hello,   I’ve been trying to use PL/SQL scripts to update some custom fields in IFS 10.  I used the following:   (code snippet)       VC_INFO_      := NULL;       VC_OBJID_     := V_OBJID_;  -- obtained via cursor       VC_ATTR_CF_   := 'CF$_CF_CUSTOMER' || CHR(31) || 'C101040' || CHR(30);       VC_ATTR_      := '';       VC_ACTION_    := 'DO';        ifsapp.INVENTORY_PART_CFP.Cf_Modify__ (            INFO_       => VC_INFO_         ,OBJID_      => VC_OBJID_         ,ATTR_CF_    => VC_ATTR_CF_         ,ATTR_       => VC_ATTR_         ,ACTION_     => VC_ACTION_       ) ;           This worked on a standard free entry field, but does not work on a referenced field.  Is there any way to do this via script, or will this require a different method to update?  Any thoughts are appreciated.

"Sizing"/ "Scaling" issue when printing (.zpl) Labels on Zebra Printers

Hi all,   At one of our customers we have a "sizing" / "scaling" issue when printing (.zpl) Labels on Zebra printers. In the Label Designer or a ZPL Viewer, the Label Size seems to be correct. However when we print the actual labels, the information which is printed on the Labels is much smaller. Please look at the attached pictures. Although the picture is not perfect, the information on the actual printed label in real life is nearly not readable ( to small). And as you can see, the information printed is aligned to the upper left corner. While in the designer /or ZPL viewer, the information is nicely centered over the entire label.   Does anyone of you have an idea what can be the cause of this? Can this be a printer setting, or something in the layout design? (Of course the actual label size is also 8 x 4 cm, as the label was designed. So we are not using the wrong label size.)   Thanks and best regards!

How to run F1 Mage in Linux

Hi,   I have issue about customization deployment in Linux.   in windows, i can deploy customization successfully with run re-configure. but, when i try in linux, the runtime is not deployed (client.war is not generated), and also there is no the figure below when run re-configure  advice please. Using Access Provider in Apps 10

Hi all, We are using Access Provider extensively in Apps 9 and are about to upgrade to Apps 10. We will have to continue using Access Provider for some time after the upgrade. Question is, what is the best way to set it up. Lobby Chart in sort by X Axis Part 2

As mentioned in the first post, this issue should be solved by doing the sorting in the datasource. https://community.ifs.com/products-all-about-making-and-managing-stuff-40/lobby-chart-in-sort-by-x-axis-1189#post4824 But when I do this, it doesn't work and still it sorts on the amount column instead of the date column.

Custom Tabs in Aurena

Hi. Does anyone have anything that might help me with custom tabs in Aurena? I need to add a custom tab, based on a custom logical unit, into a CRM screen. The LU has been created with a Projection in the EE client, and I’ve created the Projection in Aurena, but I’m not sure what the next step should be or how to get the custom LU to appear as an entity to connect it to the new page. Creating a sticky note using PLSQL

I had been wondering how to insert sticky notes from an api. Sticky notes use two tables: FND_NOTE_BOOK_TAB and FND_NOTE_PAGE_TAB. There is one note book for an object that can have multiple note pages. Each page is connected to the note book via a note_id. To test this I prepared the following: A script to insert a new note book (this is when you don’t have sticky notes yet on an object) A script to insert a new note page based upon the note id as prepared in step 1. Calculation on text box leave

Hi, Is there any possibilities to do calculation automatically after leaving the text box. i have two scenario.   In same page,  there are 3 text boxes text1 , text2 , text3. After entered the value in text1, text2 then sum value should display in text3. (I can do this using trigger when they saving. But is there any options avail before saving?) Same as above criteria. But difference is, text1 is avail in different page/custom page and text2,text3 avail in different screen.    Please let me know is there any option to do like this.  Thank you

Searching in Custom pages

Hi When I create a custom page with read-only columns, I cannot enable LOV when I search the read only columns in the custom page. Does anyone know a workaround to this? Here’s an example: I create a custom page with these three columns: Customer ID: Persistent field with LU reference to CustomerInfo  Form of business: Read-only field using custom fields implementation type = “Referenced value” to show the form of business of the customer entered in column 1. Open Sales orders: Read-only field displaying the count of open orders for the customer entered in column 1. A configuration like this could serve as a dashboard by a department to monitor a set of critical customers on a particular day or similar.  This type of configuration can be quite useful (in particular when including a “user” column such that further configuration can allow users to work on the page independently of each other.    However, considering above basic scenario - when a user want to filter the records on the cus

Question about specification of PGA Memory Usage

Hi All i'd like to confirm about specification of PGA Memory usage, and session release timing of IFS. 1. (1-1) What exactly timing did the sessions related to non-IFSSYS users (xxxx) create? (1-2) When does INACTIVE sessions start releasing? 2. Which exactly IFS screen is it for expiration date/time of above INACTIVE sessions?        3. Why does NOT IFSSYS session release?     Does this setting come from "Connection on Pool"?

Custom Menu Hierarchy

Does anyone know the syntax to structure custom menu options? For example if I wanted to have two custom menus reporting to Customer Order as in the below example. Shop Order… Customer Order Print Customer Invoice Manual Reservation… Inventory Part In Stock I was able to get this to work before with certain syntax in the Menu Text, but I could not find the syntax in the documentation.     The expected results would look similar to Recalculate Commission below. Where Update Calculated commissions and Update All Commissions report to Recalculate Commission as the parent.

IFS Apps REST API and ODATA

I've been trying to understand the api calls via OData.  For savety measures I've renamed our server instance to xyz. So far I found out the following: I logged on to an IFS10 environment via https://xyz:48080. I selected Entrance to Aurena for that. I opened a new tab in Google Chrome and copied in the following https://xyz:48080/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/DocumentClassesHandling.svc/DocClassSet?$select=DocClass,DocName&$format=json This returns a list of available Doc Classes and their description (json formatted). Very nice. Using the same URL and pasting it in FireFox (with no IFS10 running) the server returned the following: https://xyz:48080/openid-connect-provider/login?rf=p8dCXSBiIY The logon screen is shown. Seems logical to me. No idea what the parameter rf means, but I logged in (with a full access user id). Delete unissued material line from work order

Hello, Is there a way to delete unissued material line from work order, to get a clean work order… once i issue material on work order it goes to posting, then it shows two lines issued an unissued, user wants to delete the line once unissue materiel to have clarity on work orders. The snippet shows, i can delete the unissued material line from WO but cannot Save it. Any ideas…  Thanks

Released document

We are in APPs 8 and we would like to use document management. What are the best practices if we want to attach external files (like email, pictures…) on which we do not want to manage revisions or approvals. Is it correct to create a specific class for external documents ? It is required to put this kind of document in “released” or “approved” state ? or else, is it possible to automate the “released” state for one class of document ? Thanks for your help

Operational report images after updating to UPD7

After upgrading to UPD7 company logos and report graphics seems to have been changed to require to be in the database. There is a fallback setting in Systeminformation but is it anyone else having problems with images on operational reports?

Apps 10 password

Hi, We have installed IFS Apps 10 (Enterprise Explorer) and I am able to log in to the front-end using the shortcut under username “ifsapp” and with the correct password. However when I set up a connection to PL/SQL Developer and try ifsapp (with the same password as I used above) I get “invalid username/password; logon denied”. My tsnames.ora file is correct, I am sure of that. I can’t reset the ifsapp password in Apps 10 User Management because others are using that username. How can the ifsapp password for Oracle be different to the interface password? When we used Apps 8 it was always the same for both.
