Hello,

We are looking to move to AFSU licensing with Apps 10, and also have a requirement to integrate IFS with Workday.

Firstly, under AFSU are integrations with 3rd party applications permitted? If so, are there any limitations or areas to consider?

I am assuming integration requirements will be bi-directional; so data will be going both ways between both systems eventually.

Appreciate your responses to this

Regards

Shaun

Hi @SHAUN_KERSLAKE

Yes integrations with 3rd party application are permitted. The AS in ASFU means Application Specific – so the Oracle license can only be used with respect to licensed IFS products.  Another product cannot be running in the same database schema – but an integration can of course still call the IFS business logic. Whether the integration is supported or not of course depends on what support you have purchased with IFS. If you reach the regional team or your technical support manager they will explain more on the IFS support agreements and details of it.
