We have a need for creating DeliveryNote report print on file in a specific folder for some customer ID.   Is there anyone who have been able to do this with a configuration? Maybe report rule in combination with output channel and routing rules?

Hi allI’m trying to run an anonymous block from an event - however, I want to trigger to be weekly, not when a record is inserted/update.My method is to create a simple Static IAL, which I schedule to run weekly. Then I created an event to trigger on IAL_OBJECT_TAB on update when RowVersion is changed - also tried other updated fields. The event action is set to run if the name of the IAL is that created above is updated. If the action is a simple email output, it runs once each time I update the IAL (Update Now button in IAL configuration). As soon as I introduce an Execute Online SQL action, it seems to run twice as I get double the output (my SQL reads records in Project data - which includes the Project Manager, in a for Loop, then sends out details to each PM individually within the For LOOP).Any thoughts? Is this a known issue? (this is APPS9) Yes, I know I could create a Package, but as it is hosted, we are reliant on IFS all the time - I want more freedom to develop this. Grate

Hello. We made a custom Field on the SHOP_ORD table, a checkbox type to know if the SO got printed or not. The custom event which is supposed to check the CF is nowadays randomly working, when it doesn’t work, it doesn’t do the stuff, no error is showed. Here is the custom event we made :LU = ArchiveDistributionTable = ARCHIVE_DISTRIBUTION_TABFire when : new object + objects changedAttributes changed on PRINTED Custom action :Condition for performing this action : NEW:PRITED = 1 Code (in a deffered call) :SELECT REPORT_ID INTO v_report_id_ FROM ARCHIVE WHERE RESULT_KEY = &NEW:RESULT_KEY;IF v_report_id_  = 'SHOP_ORD_WI_REP' THEN            SELECT PARAMETER_VALUE into  v_order_no_            FROM ARCHIVE_PARAMETER            WHERE                RESULT_KEY = &NEW:RESULT_KEY                AND PARAMETER_NAME = 'ORDER_NO';            SELECT PARAMETER_VALUE into  v_sequence_no_            FROM ARCHIVE_PARAMETER            WHERE                RESULT_KEY = &NEW:RESULT_KEY

Hello community,I am printing an IFS Aurena label on a Zebra ZT231 printer. The label has been rotated counterclockwise 90 degrees and moved. Other IFS reports printed on the ZEBRA printer are also rotated to the left and shifted. Same problem in ZPL printer emulator when I print from IFS Aurena. Manipulating the printer driver does not help. Has anyone encountered a similar problem and could help?Thank you.

What could be the reason for the duplicate report parameter? This report is migrated from Apps9 to Apps10 like for like. However Apps10 shows duplicate parameter, but works fine in Apps9.I also see this error when trying to run the report. Ifs.Fnd.FndSystemException: Explorer: An Unhandled Exception has occurred ---> System.ArgumentException: An item with the same key has already been added.   at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowArgumentException(ExceptionResource resource)   at System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.Insert(TKey key, TValue value, Boolean add)   at Ifs.Application.InfoServicesFramework.InfoServicesService.ParseParameters(CrystalQuickReportParametersTable parameters)   at Ifs.Application.InfoServicesFramework.InfoServicesService.ExecuteCrystalQuickReport(Double quickReportId, CrystalQuickReportParametersTable parameters)   at Ifs.Application.InfoServicesFramework.InfoServicesService.ExecuteAndViewCrystalQuickReport(Double quickReportId)   at Ifs.Application.InfoServicesFrame

We are currently using 22R1, but after applying the 22R2 update we lose the Job Rate Management tab from the Active Work Order screen.  I’m not sure if this is something specific to JRM or if other people have encountered anything similar with other tabs when applying updates. If we try to work around the issue by manually adding the JRM tab to the screen using Page Designer,  we can see that the 2 content items that need to be included in the tab (JobSpecificDetail singleton and JobSpecificDetail group) are no longer available/visible in the updated version to even add.Has anyone else encountered something similar with JRM or maybe even another component/tab in the past? The update deployment logs don’t have any issues regarding this area, and no callouts for concern there either in the pre-update validation. Many thanks in advance for any thoughts or input!Nick

Hello, wanted to check if IFS Cloud has certified Oracle RACRegardsPankaj

Hi Everyone, I’m sorry but I’m not all that knowledgeable when it comes to IFS. What I am trying to do for our business is generate the Shipment BOL report via API. When I debug IFS it looks like it’s calling ShipmentBillOfLadingRep.svc however when I attempt to replicate the same calls I’m not getting anything useful back. Does anyone know how I can generate the Shipment BOL Report for a specific shipment ID using the IFS API? Perhaps there is a more generic Report API that I should be using instead of the ShipmentBillOfLadingRep.svc API? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark

Hello All.  I hope someone can help me.Before we upgraded to IFS Cloud, for our outbound invoices, using File_Sender1, I had an output file that read:%FILE_OUT%/%MESSAGE_FUNCTION%/%TAG=CUSTOMER_NO%_%TAG=CUSTOMER_NAME%/%TAG=INVOICE_NO%.xml After the upgrade the same destination address does not work.  I have been forced, so far, to use %MESSAGE_FUNCTION%.xmlThis is the message I get in (Application Messages) if I try to use the former destination address Exception while replacing TAGs in 'SEND_INVOICE_INET_TRANS/%TAG=CUSTOMER_NO%_%TAG=CUSTOMER_NAME%/%TAG=INVOICE_NO%.xml' Caused by: ifs.fnd.base.ParseException: XMLREADER_NEXT:Cannot move to next XML event at [1:1]: ParseError at [row,col]:[1,1] Message: Content is not allowed in prolog. Caused by: javax.xml.stream.XMLStreamException: ParseError at [row,col]:[1,1] Message: Content is not allowed in prolog. I don’t quite know how to read that and what it means. Thanks all.

Greetings, IFS Community. I have a report that works in IFS9 but generates this error below in IFS10. See screenshot below. It only generates when the report contains a bind variable in the SQL. If the bind variable is removed and the DISTINCT values are passed from the Business Segment, the report works correctly. See the Screenshot 2.- Fyi. In the PLSQL Developer IDE tool, the SQL works fine with bind variables using the DB for IFS 10. Keep in mind that the error happens in IFS10 not IFS9. This topic is discussed at the following URL in IFS https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/Foundation1/050_development/022_user_interface/045_ee_dev/027_apf_development/800_references/020_window_level_activities/660_execute_plsql_methods.htm  Please find below a screenshot that explains the bind variable and the IN. Please note that reports work with the IN but not with the Bind Variable.    Screenshot 2.     Here is the message after click on the view detail.  Ifs.Fnd.FndSystemException: Unexpected error w

We are using IFS10 Aurena.  Is it possible to duplicate a standard page, and then modify the new page to give us what we want to do with it?  We need to keep the standard page and have a modified version of the page for all users for a different purpose. We are not able to create a custom page as if we do this the entities on it are not editable. We are not able to do this using a different context of the page as users will require the standard page and the modified standard page. Any options on how to achieve this in our version would be appreciated. ThanksDarren

We have an issue for session from the odata pod that doesn't seem to not release the PGA memory consumption for the shared db sessions from the odata pod. They are never recycled in the IFSAPP-ODATA pods connection pool and just increase and increase. When they reach aprox 400 mb they start getting issues for other users session accessing the the connect. during logon on a statement BEGIN alter session set current schema to ‘IFSAPP’ END that hangs for 40 to 70 seconds with wait event SQL*Net message from client. This impact the database server performance when you have multiple sessions of it. with high cpu loadTo recreate it fast it’s possible to recreate it by do a sort and search inside the Entity Configuration screen. You will quite fast see that the database session will use above 400Mb quite fast and stay there for ever. If you then want to get more of them. Just open the same page multiple times in different tabs and add sort and push search… Then you even got more sessions whit

Hello,In BPA, for User Interactive Form, we have an option to select the form field type as ‘Custom Type’. I couldn’t find any documentation related to this property and how it can be used. Also, for the ‘Text’ type we are unable to add Label values. Is there a possibility to include Label for text field and what is the maximum character length for this field? Is there any documentation for these properties? We are using Cloud 23.1.3. Please advice. Kind RegardsPriyanka Cecilia

We are new to IFS Cloud. I have some questions regarding use of the Navigator. Is there a way to sort the Navigator items alphabetically? Is there a match case limitiation in the Find Page filter in the Navigator? Can any case be used - upper, lower., etc. Are there any wildcards that can be used in the Find Page filter in the Navigator? Are there any special characters that can be used in the Find Page filter in the Navigator to narrow search results (i.e. putting text in quotes, using AND or OR, etc.)?Any tips on using this feature would be appreciated. I couldn’t find any documentation about it. Thanks!

There are three customer CXBP projects(APPS10) that we are working and all the three projects we noticed irrelevant .dll files are getting generated when building the delivery although specific delivery contains client corrections in one or few modules. Is this already identified issue? Is there a solution for this matter? Is there any other cxbp customer who have experienced this behavior?

Hi, I am trying to create a custom logical unit and page that will be used in a custom tab on the customer screen.  What I’d like to do is pass in the customer_id from the customer as the child key and then have additional fields in the custom logical unit be populated from custom sql statments that filter the specified data from the customer_id. However, I can’t figure out a way to make either a list of values or an enumeration that will populate data and filter said data by customer_id is this possible in IFS10?

How can we install IFS APP 10 in Mac ?

The bug is in APPS8 SP2 version. But the customer is in APPS8 SP1 version. I need to know that, is it ok to apply that bug to the customer?

Greetings, IFS community. What is the easiest way to identify the page or path from which the custom action is initiated?I have, for example, the table STATUS_FEE_TAB and the LU AccountTaxCode Is there an easy way to identify the page from which the event action is called?  I can run the following SQL  select *from dictionary_sys_lu l,dictionary_sys_view v WHERE l.lu_name = v.lu_name AND v.view_name = 'STATUTORY_FEE' In addition to providing some details, it is not possible for me to identify the actual page on which the event action will be performed.
