Field Service Management (FSM) & Planning and Scheduling Optimization (PSO)

We need to set a flag on task based on the ARRIVED status if that is within the customer’s geofencing area.However, in theory it should work using basic setup, while it is not working practically.Any pointers please?

We are running into an issue where we invoiced a service contract, credited the service contract and now want to change pricing.  Cloud is not allowing us to change anything.  We tried delete, price change, reval, etc. Any suggestions?

Hi,Using FSM6U13, PSO 6.7.0.30We are currently having some issues understanding the schedule status in FSM. On the task, as my understanding, the scheduling status should be changed based on the status in PSO. However, we are currently experiencing a lot of the tasks that are open have no scheduling status in the task table. Is there any smart way to troubleshoot this particular issue?

What customer facing portals are available for customers to log in and view open requests. etc? I'm specifically looking at a portal that is for Service Maintenance in IFS Cloud 25R2 and above.  I know one exists for Service and Maintenance for use on work orders, but I'm unsure on the Service Management and Request side of things. 

Hi All,I want to automatically copy or clone image attachments from a Place to its associated Task. For example, if an image is attached to the Place (in the Attachment tab), I want that image to be included in the Task (in the attchment tab) whenever a new Task is created in the Place’s Service History.It would be great if you help me with this issue.Best Regards,Akshay.

Hello, I’m currently using the 25r1 ifs demo env. with PSO but I have the following issue: Example 1.I made a shift template with a Break from 12:00 till 13:00 > generated Schedule and capacity.I can see breaks Exist = Yes from 12:00 till 13:00, after that I did a full load of the scheduling dataset but I keep having the problem that PSO is showing that the break is from 11:00 till 12:00.Example 2.If i for example set the break time in the shift pattern template from 09:00 till 13:00 it shows in PSO 08:00 till 12:00I’m a bit lost in why or where this 11:00 / 12:00 data is comming from atm and hoping someone can tell me what im missing. 😓 Example 1.Example 2. Break from 09:00 till 13:00

Hi all. Is it possible, in IFS Cloud 25R1, to connect a Request Contract to a Project? I have a Request Contract with an invocing plan and my customer want to see the invoicing plan in an Activity Project.In fact, in 25R1 is possible to connect a Work Order or a Work Task created from a Request Contract with anActivity Project, but we need to see both costs and revenues (from the Request Contract Invoicing Plan) in the Project.HELP!!Best regardsSergio.

Hi,Is it possible to reassign an already assigned task through IFS MWO Service App? The actual situation is as follows.There is a company who is dealing with courier companies. The company uses IFS Cloud 24R2. This company wants to allocate transport tasks (all work tasks) to courier leaders who are also third party. Further, the courier leaders will have to allocate the tasks to individual delivery personnel via IFS MWO Service App. Can all these allocations be made via IFS MWO Service App?Ex: Customer assign tasks to Courier Leaders from IFS Application to MWO and Courier Leaders reassign the tasks to relevant drivers via IFS MWO. Is it possible? Please advice. Thanks in advance.

Currently in FSM6 UPD29, users are able to edit notes added by other users in work orders. According to the release notes, the ability to edit or delete work order notes was introduced in FSM6 UPD24. The customer needs to restrict this behavior. What suggestions can we provide?

Is it possible to extract the values from the PARAM_NAME column in the PROCESS_PARAM_PERFORM_VAL table? The FSM information log references this table, but I’m unable to extract it using Import/Export or the SQL Query Tool.The same happens with the COLUMN_NAME_TO_SET field in the PROCESS_PARAM_COLUMN_VAL table. Can anyone help me with this information?

Hi experts,I’m noticing a difference in the number of Place records when testing the baseline Place sync rule. When I run the Place sync rule XML through the XML Poster for a technician, it returns more records than what actually ends up in the Place table of the mobile database after initialization.Could it be that other sync rules are removing some of the records fetched by the Place sync rule? Or are there any baseline-level filters applied by the FSM framework during the initialization process?Has anyone come across this before?Appreciate any insights. Thanks! :) 

ERRINV: Instance of entity JT_TASK_CLOCKING with primary key [-54.0] not found in database. Some issues have been identified in CLOCK-OUT. When I checked the Time report in the Work order, 'Work Time' was not captured for this user since a failed transaction was logged. Please advise. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this issue?

EMBEDDED WEB PAGES IN WEB CLIENT using iframe was introduced in Patch 5 of FSM update 6. However this MetrixBrowser implementation on the Webclient is not consistent with the behavior from the smart client.In smart client the iframe url is able to resolve the substitution variable however the webclient is unable to do it. See example belowEx using the URL -> https://www.google.com/webhp?igu=1&q={{address.geocode_lat}}&output=svembed on the address screen we see that the webclient is unable to resolve the substitution variable {{address.geocode_lat}} like the smart client Smart client – The URL is able to substitute {{address.geocode_lat}} with the value of address.latitude which is 43.0333862305Webclient - The URL is unable to substitute {{address.geocode_lat}} with the value of address.latitude which is 43.0333862305 and just passes the tag as it is. 

Hello Community,We are currently working with IFS Cloud 24R2 and are trying to configure a navigation URL for a lobby element. Specifically, we would like to pass multiple values (an array of values) to a page parameter.Our current use case involves navigating to the following URL:page/SvcschScheduledWorkTasks/List?$filter= startswith(tolower(ResourceId),$[Employee ID])This works fine when passing a single value for the Employee ID parameter. However, we need to pass multiple values (an array of Employee IDs) and are looking for a way to achieve this within the navigation URL.Is there a supported way in IFS Cloud to pass multiple values for the same parameter in such scenarios? Any guidance or best practices would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone In service  management, when shipping the same maintenance parts to different customers, we want to make the movement of the shipping personnel more efficient by consolidating multiple shipping instructions for multiple customers into a single shipping instruction. For example, regardless of whether it is for customers A, B, or C, one shipping personnel will dispatch 8 of 'Maintenance Part 001', and then sort them later into 3 for customer A, 2 for customer B, and 3 for customer C.Is there any solution to create a single shipping instruction (8)for customers A, B, or C? 

Are other MWM users having issues with the Control Click or Shift Click function? I wanted to verify it was a common issue before submitting a Defect. The function is spotty at best.

Hiin the Appointement booking screen, I see the Slots only in the top of the screen.It seems that the main part of the screen is not used Why we don’t use the whole screen to display the slots ?Thanks and Regardsanthony

It is currently not possible for co-requisite activity groups to be shared by a bucket resource and an individual resource.This would be a useful addition for customers who wish to utilise 3rd party resources for 2 person jobs.Can this be added to a future release of PSO?

Hello Everyone, While trying to run odata api in postman i am getting this error {    "Message": "The node count limit of '100' has been exceeded. To increase the limit, set the 'MaxNodeCount' property on EnableQueryAttribute or ODataValidationSettings."}May i please know where do i increase the value I tried in changing App params IFS_MAX_ROWS_ODATA but still getting same error Is there any other place to increase the value to more than 100? Shaik

Hi allWe are looking for a solution within IFS to plan and schedule our crew resources in the vessels. I know the dispatch console in IFS has this planning capability. However, we are looking for something more related to marine certificate availability / validity. Has anyone developed something similar in IFS? I would appreciate very much your suggestions. In my previous organization we used a tool called On-board Tracker [OBT] but the requirement is to find something within IFS.Thanks,Asela

Hi,I’ve gone through all the documentation supplied with the latest PSO version and there is only a few lines on Travels With and nothing that explains how it should be used. Does anyone have anything detailed on using this function? Does anyone currently use this within PSO please? 

Any Idea how we can use IFS developer studio and Aurena for IFS cloud, any documentation for setting it up?
