Hi there,

Is there any way to change the view in Dispatch console for a specific task, to the actual start and finish of the work task, when a job has been done?

In this example, the technician has started the travel of a work task in MWO, then realized this was a job for another day, so he put it on pauze, and restarted it a couple of days later.
Maybe this is where it went wrong, but then what is the best way to handle this from MWO?

Now in Dispatch Console, it looks like he has worked multiple days on this, which is not very easy for planning… (see attachments)

Hi @Rachida Amarech ,

The Assignment Start and Actual Start fields are two different entities in IFS Cloud. The Assignment Start typically indicates the date the assignment was started either by starting travelling or starting the work , in this case, it reflects the date travel began.

Since both the Actual Start and Actual Finish have been accurately reported, there should be no significant impact on the calculation of the work task’s actual duration.

However, as this assignment appears in the Dispatch Console and if it is causing any disruption during planning, you can simply enable the ‘Exclude from Planning’ option, as the assignment has already been completed. This will remove the assignment from Dispatch Console.

To the best of my knowledge, the Assignment Start field cannot be manually adjusted.

Thanks,
Nethmini
