Cannot explain myself around a behaviour in purchase order authorisation. Below is how my auth rule is setup. Note the ‘Use Delta Amounts for Auth’ is set to Yes. Now, my PO is initially a placeholder for total of 0.01 value. Then a POCO is created to add another line with a value of 120,000.An authorisation is expected on this POCO, however is not fetched when the Delta Amt for Authorisation is set to yes. In my pov, there is a clear delta amt which is within the range of the auth rule. When the Delta Amt check is set to no, the auth rule is fetched. System - IFS Cloud 23.1.3

Hello, As far as i know, we cannot apply a pre-posting posting control to Charge Types on a Purchase Order. Correct?I want to be able to create a Charge Type “DUES” which would apply to multiple departments. Is there any suggestion on how to make this happen? This is what i have tested so far: I created the charge type, selected “no code part value” on the posting control, had AP update the department on the supplier invoice, but it gave us the following error. This account requires a Site and Department. There is no site attached to the posting control for this charge type, but there was a department added to the supplier invoice at matching. Any suggestions for this welcome! Thanks in advance.
Hello, Is it possible to use forward scheduling for purchase parts in IFS Cloud, use current date as indicator if we have past due or close demand and see the earliest possible purchase requisition receipt date according to purchase part read time ?
Hi All I am keen to know what's newly implemented in IFS 24R1 in Rental Management compared to what was available in IFS10? I know the IFS Academy provides a complete overview, but I am only looking for what's new. Thanks,Asela
Hi,When changing the supplier payment terms on the supplier, all the placed orders will also change accordingly. Is this really the right functionality? Shouldn’t the already placed order remain with the “old” payment terms?IFS Cloud used. All comments/info highly appreciated. Br,Marita
I’m trying to close out a purchase order but can’t close out two of its lines due to a quantity change. Both received lines need to be updated from a quantity of 2 to 1.Specifically: The affected purchase order lines should be changed to: Qty Required: 1 Qty Pegged: 0 Qty Issued: 1 I tried unpegging and updating the quantities, but that didn’t work. I also looked into unreceiving the items, cancelling the PO lines, re opening the requisitions, and reducing the quantity on the work task itself but this also didn’t resolve the issue. All materials for this job are on hand, but the related work order can’t be closed until the purchase order is fully closed. Has anyone run into this issue before or have suggestions for how to resolve it?
No column available for ‘Unit Cost’ in Purchase Requisition lines. Version 23.2.8
Hello,Would anyone know if there were plans to secure IFS Demand Plan Client with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) when using AD integration? We cannot figure out how to login to IFS Demand Plan Client while account is setup for AD integration. Thanks,Tadas

Hi, Is it possible to set the MRP parameters to only look so far ahead? At the moment, as soon as a req is created (even if for next year), MRP suggests buying or making the stock. I do not want to consider that order until at 3 months prior to required date. It would be ideal to see demand without any req’s being generated. Using planning method G currently. Thanks, Dan
Hi, is there an easier way to uncheck the authorization required tick box on the PO header level? The way we know how to do it now is to reject authorization on each PO. We have about 150 POs which we’d like to reverse but we can’t do it in a more efficient manner right now.
We’re trying to amend the Demand Plan Forecast Parts in IFS, but they all show status of ‘locked’How can they be unlocked?(We’re running APPS 9)
We have a supplier set up to be a self-billing account and when we receive product at our various sites, we are seeing the “AS” self-billing invoices processed and in our supplier analysis to be posted. However, we have recently added a new Site to our IFS system, and even though we are using the same supplier, the receipts done in this new Site are not being processed as a self-billing invoice. Is there another setting that we are missing or something else that has to be run that is Site specific?
Hi Currently using warehouse task to generate a shop order pick list from materials and i understand this can be changed to create a transport task, my question is… when we receive that TT, will the stock be automatically issued to the materials it was raised against? Thanks, Dan
Hello, We work with many customer owned stock items that are issued to shop orders and work orders. Currently we raise a zero dollar PR/PO and receipt the items. On the Supplier for Purch Part the Ownership is set as Customer Owned. Yet the ownership on the PO line always defaults to Company Owned and if not noticed, often forces cancellation and recreation of the PO resulting in wasted time and inefficiencies. What is the best way/what settings are needed to bring these items into stock with the ownership as Customer Owned?
This is an interesting one, and I’m curious if anyone else is experiencing something similar. For reference, we're on IFS Apps 10 UPD17.We run the daily aggregation job just after midnight. A couple of years ago, it would finish before 9 a.m. By last year, it was running until 11 a.m., and this year it's progressively pushed out to around 2 p.m.Perhaps it's just how the algorithm scales with data volume, but has anyone else seen this kind of trend? If so, how did you address or resolve it?
IFS Cloud user. How do I freeze the sort of the Purchase Order Lines so the most recent is at the top? This screen does not have a “created time” column and when I return to it the column is forzen but the date is not the most recent.
Dear team,What functionalities will be missing if we define a Main Warehouse as a Remote warehouse? I’m trying to use user access control in Remote warehouse but I’m not sure it will drops some other functionalities/capabilities associated with main warehouses (non-remote warehouses).
So we are using MS Level 1 to essentially enter forecasts that will then drive demand signals to other sites. We have one internal supplier (finished goods) and various external suppliers (finished goods and raw material) setup in 4 different sites. We normally use distribution orders auto generate the required purchase reqs and shop order reqs that Supply Chain needs to fulfill the different demand and supply signals required through out our distribution and manufacturing network. One thing we have struggled to setup correctly and understand has been some of the parameters in Master Schedule 1 Part.We understand that every company has unique ways of handling Master Scheduling, but it is how you setup the parameters that makes a big different between trusting and not trusting the output you get from the Master Schedule. My question is simple: can some one explained to me exactly how the yellow highlighted fields and the red circled drop down options work and how they affect each other a
We have a unique setup from what we’ve heard from IFS where we have 1 site per geographical location meaning that even though we have 4 buildings in SC, we only have the 1 site. This simplifies part setup etc. This said, currently we have SITE1 SUPP, SITE2 SUPP, and SITE4 SUPP. 1 is for SC, 2 is OH, 3 is France. We have another company setup for the UK along with their own site and France’s primary vendor is SITE4 but the catch is that they don’t use SITE4 SUPP because it’s not setup for profitability. We use SITE4 SUPP for non-profitable goods exchange from the US to France. I’ll note as well, it is not possible to have multiple vendors or customers to the same Site for inter-site functionality. S4 uses their own vendor code that is setup for profitability between S4 and the UK and the UK also has their own non-intersite customer setup for Site 4’s customer orders. I have setup the UK now so that 4 will issue a PO to the UK vendor. The vendor has been made intersite for the UK and all
I think this may be an obvious answer that I’m missing. We want to start using Purchase Parts only (no Inventory Part record) to buy packaging material. Previously we have set up Inventory Parts, received these into stock and then immediately adjusting off stock which is a bit of a waste of effort. The initial reason for using Inventory Parts rather than just non-stock is so we can handle the different pricing/MOQs etc - plus saves the Buyer having to type in the descriptions and pre-posting on each order. We've investigated setting up Purchase Groups against Purchase Parts to drive the postings into a particular Acc/CC/Code Part D. All works fine/as expected. The challenge now is that having set up M92 and M93 to be driven off C31 Purchase Group our ‘normal’ non-stock PO Lines error because they are manually pre-posted - and we need to retain this as the Code Part C and D particularly will be specific - not necessarily Site or Supplier, for example.Does anyone have any suggestio
getting the above error when trying to upload documents into personnel files
