Hi Currently using warehouse task to generate a shop order pick list from materials and i understand this can be changed to create a transport task, my question is… when we receive that TT, will the stock be automatically issued to the materials it was raised against? Thanks, Dan
Hello, We work with many customer owned stock items that are issued to shop orders and work orders. Currently we raise a zero dollar PR/PO and receipt the items. On the Supplier for Purch Part the Ownership is set as Customer Owned. Yet the ownership on the PO line always defaults to Company Owned and if not noticed, often forces cancellation and recreation of the PO resulting in wasted time and inefficiencies. What is the best way/what settings are needed to bring these items into stock with the ownership as Customer Owned?
This is an interesting one, and I’m curious if anyone else is experiencing something similar. For reference, we're on IFS Apps 10 UPD17.We run the daily aggregation job just after midnight. A couple of years ago, it would finish before 9 a.m. By last year, it was running until 11 a.m., and this year it's progressively pushed out to around 2 p.m.Perhaps it's just how the algorithm scales with data volume, but has anyone else seen this kind of trend? If so, how did you address or resolve it?
IFS Cloud user. How do I freeze the sort of the Purchase Order Lines so the most recent is at the top? This screen does not have a “created time” column and when I return to it the column is forzen but the date is not the most recent.
Dear team,What functionalities will be missing if we define a Main Warehouse as a Remote warehouse? I’m trying to use user access control in Remote warehouse but I’m not sure it will drops some other functionalities/capabilities associated with main warehouses (non-remote warehouses).
So we are using MS Level 1 to essentially enter forecasts that will then drive demand signals to other sites. We have one internal supplier (finished goods) and various external suppliers (finished goods and raw material) setup in 4 different sites. We normally use distribution orders auto generate the required purchase reqs and shop order reqs that Supply Chain needs to fulfill the different demand and supply signals required through out our distribution and manufacturing network. One thing we have struggled to setup correctly and understand has been some of the parameters in Master Schedule 1 Part.We understand that every company has unique ways of handling Master Scheduling, but it is how you setup the parameters that makes a big different between trusting and not trusting the output you get from the Master Schedule. My question is simple: can some one explained to me exactly how the yellow highlighted fields and the red circled drop down options work and how they affect each other a
We have a unique setup from what we’ve heard from IFS where we have 1 site per geographical location meaning that even though we have 4 buildings in SC, we only have the 1 site. This simplifies part setup etc. This said, currently we have SITE1 SUPP, SITE2 SUPP, and SITE4 SUPP. 1 is for SC, 2 is OH, 3 is France. We have another company setup for the UK along with their own site and France’s primary vendor is SITE4 but the catch is that they don’t use SITE4 SUPP because it’s not setup for profitability. We use SITE4 SUPP for non-profitable goods exchange from the US to France. I’ll note as well, it is not possible to have multiple vendors or customers to the same Site for inter-site functionality. S4 uses their own vendor code that is setup for profitability between S4 and the UK and the UK also has their own non-intersite customer setup for Site 4’s customer orders. I have setup the UK now so that 4 will issue a PO to the UK vendor. The vendor has been made intersite for the UK and all
I think this may be an obvious answer that I’m missing. We want to start using Purchase Parts only (no Inventory Part record) to buy packaging material. Previously we have set up Inventory Parts, received these into stock and then immediately adjusting off stock which is a bit of a waste of effort. The initial reason for using Inventory Parts rather than just non-stock is so we can handle the different pricing/MOQs etc - plus saves the Buyer having to type in the descriptions and pre-posting on each order. We've investigated setting up Purchase Groups against Purchase Parts to drive the postings into a particular Acc/CC/Code Part D. All works fine/as expected. The challenge now is that having set up M92 and M93 to be driven off C31 Purchase Group our ‘normal’ non-stock PO Lines error because they are manually pre-posted - and we need to retain this as the Code Part C and D particularly will be specific - not necessarily Site or Supplier, for example.Does anyone have any suggestio

Hi All I have observed this on previous IFS versions as well. This is 24.1.9 The validity period has passed, but the agreement remains active. Isn't this fundamentally wrong? Thanks,Asela
I am coming across an issue with IFS Cloud 24R1 where a Request for Order Quotation has been raised from a Purchase Requisition in error and the RFQ then fully deleted. Raising the RFQ changes the Request Type to Quotation Request, which sticks, even when the RFQ is deleted. If the Purchase Requisition Line is authorised, the Request Type cannot then be changed back to Purchase Request, and this forces the User to create and process a Request for Order Quotation through to approval. This feels like a bug and the current process is not user friendly leaving the User with an authorised Purchase Requisition Line that they cannot convert to a Purchase Order without going through the lengthy RFQ process to approval.
Hi experts, I’m new to supplier schedule. I have tried to define a supplier schedule with supplier schedule template and it is created as follows. Could you please help me to understand where i can create purchase requisitions and purchase orders in the next step?Thank you.
Hi All,I use IFS 8. There is shelf life for a few purchase parts. For example, the rice shelf life is 6 months. 1. Is there a place to enter in 6 months or 180 Days in system? There are 4 fields about shelf life in Iventory Part, tab acquisition. But seems it is not for purchased part.2 And I want to enter part manufacture date & expiring date only for these parts when Register Purchase Order Arrivals. Is it possible?
Is it possible to get Demand Forecast info pulled onto the Planning Lobby? I am initially thinking about where Demand Forecast changes are made and they are outwith a specific tolerance – e.g. +/- 30% If something like this was possible, we could consider the exact requirements of what we are looking for.
Dear Community, I started to investigate the B2B customer / supplier functionalities, but I’m stuck in the beginning. I checked this post: How setup permission set for B2B app10 aurena client | IFS CommunityHowever in our As-Shipped environment (pure std. Apps10 UPD 21), we have only these projections: I didn’t find any of these:ConfirmB2bPurchaseOrder ConfirmB2bSuppConsigmnt CreateB2bOrderQuotation DisplayB2bVmi PlannedB2bPurchase Also I didn’t find anything on Customer side. Even if I linked to B2B customer and supplier users to B2B customers and suppliers, these users can’t see anything: Do you have any idea what is missing? Thank you very much in advance!
We have an issue where IFS APPS 9 is not populating lists of values.Example: on the Supplier screen, the “Form of business” field uses a list. NOTHING appears in the list. However, if I type the value eg CHARITY, the lookup works fine. If I ZOOM to the LOV, that works also.Using debug, we can see that the sql to populate the list never gets run, but only on the test instance. This is only happening on a test instance, Live is OK (luckily), but we are about to migrate to new hardware, and obviously a bit concerned that this may happen there.. (test data is an old copy of live)Does anyone have any experience of this happening, and even better, a solution? UPDATE: Here’s what “Populate” tries to run on the offending instance: select from &AO.CORPORATE_FORM where COUNTRY_CODE = 'GB' and here’’s what it runs elsewhere:select CORPORATE_FORM,CORPORATE_FORM_DESC from &AO.CORPORATE_FORM where ( COUNTRY_CODE = :p0 ) and COUNTRY_CODE = 'GB'.. So the other one is missing field list AND w
Hi everybodySeveral customers have already brought this concern to my attention. I'm looking for a way to set a minimum purchase order value or a minimum value on the purchase order line. This means that the difference between the net amount is calculated at the order header and/or line level and a specific charge type is automatically created with this difference amount.Thank you in advance for your ideas and feedback. Best regards, Rolf
Hi Experts, I have a customer scenario as follows.A customer order comes for package part S which consists of part A, part B and part C.Now since one of the component of package part S is discontinued , there is another package part with composition of part A, part B and part D.and we want to send this new package part T instead of package part S.but to a customer order where they ordered package part S. how can we achieve this in IFSCloud.Any suggestions would be appriciated.Thank you.
We are in the process of setting up and implementing IFS Cloud and I have a concern around purchase requisitions to purchase order behavior. I am running MS One Part and MRP to generate purchase requisitions. The purchase requisitions are being created as I expect. However, I have concerns about the behavior that is taking place when converting requisitions to orders. As demonstrated in the upper section of screen shots below, when a 7/23 requisition was created through MRP, and I converted it to a PO, and re-ran MRP, the 7/23 requisition was closed as expected since the need was replaced by an order for that date (7/23).In the lower section of the screenshot, I converted a purchase requisition in the future (9/1) to a purchase order to send to my supplier as they require a lead time on orders in the future which is typical for many of our purchase parts. I expected (and need) that the 9/1 requisition would move to closed and it did do that. However, it closed the 9/1 requisition, elim
Hello,In IFS Apps 10, when using the Receive Inventory Part screen, we’re seeing a popup to Define Cost Structure for only certain parts. In that popup, we're required to enter the Cost Bucket ID and Cost/Unit.We’d like this popup to appear for all parts. Is there a setting we need to change to enable this for the parts that currently don’t trigger it? If so, what is the setting, and where can we find it?
HiWe have the issue that when we add our lines to the project demand in a specific order and then convert it to a Purchase Requisition the order of the lines change. This is causing issues as we add the lines according to an outside quote and it is hard to quality check the Purchase requisition if the lines are not in the order before creating the project supply request. Is there a way to create the project supply request lines in the same order as it was in the demand?
The Version is 24R2.For PO Authorizers, I’d like some guidance/screenshot on how I can add existing Authorizers in Authorizers groups. I have a list of Authorizers and a list of Authorizers groups which are used in routing rules. For whatever reason I cannot find a place to add the Authorizer ID in the groups they belong. Many thanks,Paul.
