We use App 9 and see a IP27 in a Instant Invoice postings with 0 amounts in Accounting Currency.
But the Parallel currency rate on the voucher rows is same.
Does anyone know why we see IP26/IP27?
And is it recommended to use a Tax Account on IP26/IP27 Posting Types?
Thanks

Hi,
Normally you get these postings when you have set up a separate Tax Currency Rate for your company.
However, I assume you have done some changes to the tax amounts(or somethings has led to change it) in Parallel Currency in this scenario and hence system has posted the difference in these postings. (Because the direct conversion of your tax amounts based on the given rates doesn’t get the expected amounts. Example: 21541.25/10.277494= 2095.96 where as you have the tax amount in para curr. as 2068.91. So the difference, 27.05 has been posted as a Tax.Curr Gain/Loss ) I think this is an exception where system has used these postings irrespective of you have set up Tax Currency Rates on you Company or not.

Hope it is not recommended not to use a Tax Account for IP26/IP27 postings, as scenarios like above will create a additional tax transaction with 0 tax amount?
