Hi Community! We get automated errormessages about backgroundjobs in error, on of them is one finance job that fails every weekend “the update could not be performed since the Tax Ledger Item record is currently locked. Please retry the operation. ORA-20113: TaxLedgerItem.FND_LOCKED” With that backgeoundjob number nothing can be found anymore so there have to be some kind of cleanup job that delete that job afterwards. Is there any way to see if that job actually ran succesfully later or what happened to that? Previous and next job can be found but not that one anymore.
Hi,when our customer upgraded to 23R2 we discovered that there is a new field in Self-service procurement portal. In the product details there is a “Note” field now, it also appears when adding a product to the cart. Does anyone know when it was added any what it could be used for? Thanks! BREmma
We’ve noticed that in IFS10 Aurena, you can’t sort any table like you can today in IEE. There is an explicit sort on the due date on the IPAP screen which is how it should show on load but we don’t like the idea of having to export the data to excel and add a filter to it to group orders together. We used to be able to click in the column header and sort the column but now on this screen, we can’t do this. We also can’t filter this table (search in context). Is this fixed in cloud or are we doomed to exporting to excel?
Hello, Is there a way to create a Sales Charge on a Customer Order but have it not create an Invoice. In this example, the Sales Charge is really just for Internal tracking purposes that should be charged to the Customer. My customers example is that they need to pay some very unique taxes on some products to the United States Govt, but this should not be charged to the end Customer. Note: IFS Cloud Environment. Thank you,Alex
Hi there,We keep getting the information pop up when a part has been discontinued (picture attached), but we cannot figure out how to enter what substitute number has to be used. We would like this in the pop up. Any suggestions?
Hi,Is it possible to make a change to an intercompany customer order without raising a new PO? Here is a scenario we are encountering. Company ”A” raises a customer order for their external customer, but the supplier is an sister company within the same group, named Company B. Company ”A” sets up the supply for the order to be fulfilled by Company B. All lines supply as set as Company B, supply code is Internal Purchase Transit.Customer Order is released. PO is created for the parts to Company B. After a couple of days Company ”A” realizes that a mistake has being made on one of the CO lines and needs to cancel one line and add in ”A” new line with the correct part now added to the CO. This generates ”A” new PO for the newly added part for Company B. Is there any way to keep the newly added part on the existing PO from Company ”A” to Company B? Our procurement have a preference for this requirement?
Hello All, I wonder if there is someone who has come across similar problem to ours. We are chemical goods manufacturers and rely on the Dangerous Goods Classification for our shipping documentation that is stored within Master Part function. We do, however, find it difficult to find a way of handling changes to the products, that are affecting the classification itself.Example:Our product is going through a formulation change, and as a result it will change its classification. We control the change within the product using the revision in Inventory Part. This, however, does not seem to find any link to the Dangerous Goods Classification part within the Part function. Would anyone here be able to advise how we can change the classification according to the revision within Inventory Part, so that our Shipment documentation is correct according to the lot/batch no despatched? Appreciate any suggestions. We have a couple of products we are intending to work on, and I believe these changes

Hi,I want to create a custom field on the part screen. This field will be fed from the SAFETY INSTRUCTION view. but i am getting error. I request your valuable support.“Invalid data length or data length must be set for this data type [Reference] Max 4000 for text field. Category.”
Hello IFS community, we are having a customer related process which we struggle to find a working solution in IFS. Maybe someone has an idea how to map this process in IFS.We are an EMS company and manufacturer products for our customers. As typically we are buying all the needed raw materials ourselves. There are some cases where customer requests to buy additional material for securing demands and pays for this in advance. Basically, this means that customer becomes owner of this material and that’s like we want to set it up in IFS for two reasons: Legally we are forced to have the possibility to identify material that’s not our ownage and on the other hand we don’t want this material to count towards our inventory value. To achieve this the material have to be set to either ownership “customer owned” or “consignment”. Now we have two possible scenarios, but unfortunately none is working:Buy material at supplier with ownership “customer owned” and owner = related customer: This would
Hello All, maybe a simple question for you. In the attached picture you see a snapshot of my master schedule of a packaging item. Because of the usage in BOM (this item for instance contains 6 pcs in the outer carton resulting in a usage of 0,1667 per item) it causes the data in the MS to be hard to read. I am looking for a way to round all to zero digits after the comma. I have tried to manipulate the field “QTY CALC ROUNDING” in the Inventory part section “Weight, Volume and Quantities” but this has no effect in the MS. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great! Best regardsCarlo Koenders

Good morning. The company I work for is evaluating the IFS Procurement B2B solution. One of the questions that has come up is related to the cost of use. Can anyone tell me if there is a cost add for each supplier that we connect with through B2B such as a user fee? Thank you!Robin
As of now Dangerous Goods, Classification, and Basic data are placed in HCM. Health and Safety. This is correct and it mainly discusses handling those materials from Health and safety perspective.MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) information can be registered under Dangerous Goods Information. However, this information can be visible in Part Catalog as well. We have a few questions. How HCM/ Dangerous Goods Information connects with Part Catalog in SCM. As Part Catalog has shipping and packing-related information and how it will connect with IFS SCM Shipping functionality. This is relavant to HCM and SCM. Best Regards,Thushan.
Product Version: 23R1SU5Not possible to connect the report automatically with the purchase order lines when printing it. Needs to be done manually. The issue can also be seen in the core environment. I have identified that generated report cannot be seen in the report rule log. The issue seems to be related to the configuration of the report rule. ConnectedLU = PurchaseOrderLineKeyRef = LINE_NO=[@PURCHASE_ORDER_RECEPTION_REP/PO_RECEIPT_HEADERS/PO_RECEIPT_HEADER/LINE_NO]^ORDER_NO=[@PURCHASE_ORDER_RECEPTION_REP/PO_RECEIPT_HEADERS/PO_RECEIPT_HEADER/ORDER_NO]^RELEASE_NO=[@PURCHASE_ORDER_RECEPTION_REP/PO_RECEIPT_HEADERS/PO_RECEIPT_HEADER/RELEASE_NO]^How can I verify if this keyRef is correct or not? How can I implement the report rule correctly for the PURCHASE_ORDER_RECEPTION_REP.
We have a purchase order with a No Part Lines purchase received and registered into arrival for a jobsite. The PO has been re-opened in order to make changes to the Receipt. We’re attempting to use the Inspection result to return 10 of 50 No Part items received on this order. We Registered Inspection Results for a Qty of 10 items for Return Credit for return to the supplier. The Receipt page references Pending Return Status of “Yes” with a Shipment Connection Line No 9. We are missing some step(s) that would push to complete and confirm that the 10 returning No Part items have been sent back to the Supplier. When we print the Supplier Return Report the Qty to Return still appears as 0. Also, we attempted to reference any connection between the return quantity and the Supplier Shipment Lines page shown below. No apparent connection to the Supplier Shipment Lines referenced on the Receipt. What steps in the Supplier return process are we missing to simply return these No Part Lines? Tha
Hi All,Need your advice. My organization is using IFS version 8As per subject, we have a situation where we issue partial advance invoice to customer order for the purpose of prepayment (usually 10%) from the entire customer order amount. However, when we closed the order and issue the rest of the invoice amount, the system take out full amount of the customer order. Example as below:The total customer order amount is 901152.00 and 10% of the amount is 90115.20. Supposedly, the balance of the invoice amount should be 811,036.50 Can anyone help to advice how to make sure that the rest of customer order amount invoice is offsetting advance invoice amount?Regards,Mirza

Hello, I got a list of catalog prices in my sales part, which have to be updated annually massivelly. I wanted to use the sales part base prices, but it doesn’t update my part price. The problem is that when I create a customer order, the price on my order is the price of the sales part and not the sales part base price. Is that a parameters of IFS tarification or have I to create necessarily a customer agreement or a sales price list ?
