We have a scenario where we want all items on a customer to ship at one time. I have found the setting on the customer order and customer where you can restrict split shipments per line, but I can’t find anything that’s for an entire order. For example the order has 5 lines, we have 3 of the lines in inventory and the other 2 are PO Transit, we do not want to ship the customer order until all 5 lines are fully reserved. Has anyone else ran into this scenario? If so how are you handling it?We’re on IFS10 UPD13.

Usage of Pegging/Unpegging a Customer Order or PO

Hi All,Could anyone guide me the usage of Pegging a Customer Order line or unpegging the same in Demand Purchase Order whenever a supply code is Int Purch Dir.In other words, why there is a need to manually peg a CO line or unpeg a CO line and the same with PO lines in order to cancel a PO or CO lines.Thanks in Advance.

Shipped UoM doesnt Match Customer UoM

We sold a role of tape. The UoM in Inventory Part, and Sales Part are in (Inches). However the Picklist, Shipment and Invoice showed only Quantity 1 IN and the line shows closed. Quantity 1 inI could understand it converting to 1EA for 648 Inches for a role, but it converted to 1 in. Any help would be appreciated.

Number format in IEE

Is there a way to format number quantities in IEE? The only option I see is a way to format currency in the “Options” window. A user wants to format the quantities on Inventory Part Availability Planning to include commas to make the numbers easier to read. Can this even be done?

Separated picking locations for different customers

Hi all, Question from a customer that is thinking about acquiring a WMS solution and upgrading to IFS10 or Implementing the warehouse management features what is available in IFS (WaDaCo, handling units and the sorts). One of the questions that they have goes as followed; It must be possible to create picking zones for certain customers so 1 part can have 2 pick locations for 2 different customers groups. The customer has the same parts for B2B and B2C commerce, but would like to pick in bulk from different locations as the B2C (small orders, mostly single lines). Can anyone advise how to solve this issue?

IFS10+UPD12 Zebra ZT230 label printing issues

Hello Community,In a customer implementation of IFS10+UPD12 we developed a Crystal Reports layout for Handling Unit Content Label to print in Zebra ZT230 printers. The paper size is 10x10cm and the layout is 9.5x9.5cm just in case margins are a problem.In topics, what we are experiencing is:-> If we preview the label in IFS and then print it directly to the printer using Adobe Acrobat, then label prints correctly - Figure 1-> If we print a test page from Windows, the label prints correctly - Figure 2-> If we print directly from IFS using the Print Dialog, the label prints almost blank (just 2 small dots on the top) - Figure 3We tried multiple setting of paper size in Report Definitions no success. Currently the layout is defined with Paper Size = Other.Can anyone help me or give me a hint of how to solve this issue?Thank you. Figure 1: Figure 2: Figure 3:

Query Builder Joins: No Matching Keys?

Hello,Beginner query builder here. I’m attempting to build a report that shows part number, description, available quantity, current year in and out, and last year in and out. At first, I couldn’t seem to find the view for the current year and last year in and out, but I was able to locate it after unchecking the “Only Granted Views” and “Only Base Views” boxes in the options drop down. There are multiple views titled “Inv Part Config Project” that has all the columns/keys I need, but when I attempt to join, there are no matching keys to connect. So I guess my 2 questions are:What do the two options boxes (Only Granted Views and Only Base Views) mean and how does that affect the views and how the join? What steps can I take to join two views when there seems to be no matching keys?Thanks,

Hi Team,We have set up a supplier with 2 EFT payment methodEFT 1(address id 1) using one bank accountEFT 2 (address id 2) using 2nd bank account.When we save the Eft method system is forcing to set up one as default payment method, and it is using the default payment bank details in the payment proposal.We want to know if there is a way, we don’t tick the EFT default option and have the option to choose the bank account we like to use.Thanks in advanceSneha

Determine CO Price at time of delivery

Hi,The underlying need is to determine margins for items that have been delivered and/or invoiced.When a CO Line is delivered a delivery number is generated. When a CO line is delivered partially and then completely at a later date, two delivery records are generated for the quantities corresponding to each delivery.Theoretically the price on CO line can be changed after the first delivery and hence the margin for the two deliveries should be based on two different prices for each of the two deliveries.I notice that when referencing deliveries from back to customer order line I only get the current price on the line.Any ideas as to how to obtain the price true at the time of each delivery would be much appreciated.Thanks.

Connect Project Activity to customer order line with supply code Service order

Hi,We are trying to create a project from a Customer order line which has a supply code as Service order. This sales line has been transferred from a CRO. This issue is that if I first create the project from CO header, then RMB on the CO line it does not give the option to connect to project activity. we have created a CRIM to auto create project but if I run this CRIM it gives this error message stating updates not allowed Please can anyone advise on how we can get a service type generated from a CRO to be added to a project

Replicate document text from Customer order to Shop Order & DOP Shop order

HI, I have set a customer pup to have the Replicate Doc Text field enabled ( Customer/ Order/ Misc Customer Info. Replicate Doc Text). However when I place and release the Customer order, the document text entered on the customer order header or customer order line is not copied to the pegged Shop order create through DOP. It is also not attached to the to the DOP order order header. Is there anything I need to specifically set up in Document Text administration or Site level to get this to work?Thank youSusan

Linking each structure alternatives to a supplier

Hello, I already found my question in the community but nobody answered so I'll ask again hoping that someone has the answer: In our case we have two product structure alternates for parent part A (A is a Purchase type part). Now we want to link our product structure alternates * and 1 with supplier S1 and supplier S2 respectively so whenever we create purchase order for parent part A by selcting supplier S1, system automatically shows B and C as component parts that we would sent to supplier. Similarly when we create purchase order by selecting supplier S2 sytem automatically show B, C and D as compopnent parts.Here we are not doing operation outsourcing but here we receiving A as a finish good item by sending B and C or B, C and D as row material. Parent Part has two Structure alternate * and 1 as shown in image respectively Thank you so much.

Impact of Disabling IPR on Planning Parameter

Hello Community,Please we need your help. we disabled our IPR in order to use a legacy migrated Planning data as baseline. But when we ran Order Proposal against the legacy Planning data, IFS still calculate a new lot size, new reorder point, new safety stock and entered the legacy lot size , reorder point, safety stock under “previous “ even though the IPR was disabled. Adding a Custom Field to Manual Reservations for Customer Order Line Details

I have a custom field that I have added to Inventory Part in Stock. I would also like to add this field to the details in the Manual Reservations for Customer Order Line, but when I try to add it, it shows that is is already there (the details look like the come from the Inventory Part in Stock view) but it doesn’t give me the option to add it through the column chooser. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this?

Create Read Only Display of Existing Field

How do you get an existing field (not a custom field) to show up on a different page?I am trying to display the Organization Code (org_code) from the Organization and Position Assignments page (company_pers_assign_act view) on the Purchase Orders Lines (POL) page (purchase_order_line_all view). So it is an already existing field and not a custom field. When I try to create a custom field so it will display on the POL page I cannot get it to work. I have tried Reference (can’t find the field I want to display), Select (mostly get the not a custom field error) and Expression (Mostly get statement is invalid).I am not 100% sure which is the best route. I thougtht the expression looked the most promising. I have tried:company_pers_assign_api.get_org_code((select assignment_seq_no from company_pers_assign_act where person_id = v.authorize_code))as the expression. The get_org_code needs the assignment_seq_no as the parameter which is what the select statement is trying to get. Looking
