Dear Community,Is there a way to capture number delayed hours from defined lunch/break time. For an example employees are entitled for 30 minutes break after 4.5 working hours. Employee start work at 8AM. Entitled Lunch is at 12:30PM. Actual Lunch time at 2:00 PM. Need to generate late break hours =1.5 Hours to another wage code. Can someone suggest a configuration for this.

Wa Da Co: manual issue - filter out issued materials

Hi, is it possible in the Wadaco process MANUAL_ISSUE_SHOP_ORDER_PART, to only see the parts for which there are still parts to issue? In the IFS screen ‘Manual Issue Shop order”, we would filter on ‘Qty Remaining To issue: >0” to only see the components still to be issued. How do to this using Wa Da Co? Thank you!

Solution for US Supplier set up - DBA - 'Doing Business As'

Hi, I have a requirement in the US where my supplier is registered under one name that is shown on the W9, but the invoice received is for anther name.I think I can solve this by using a new supplier for the alternative name and having that as the invoicing supplier where required. However I wanted to know if there was a more elegant solution that is commonplace in the US market for this scenario?Platform is Cloud 23R2

Point out Network Setup Printer in Database

Hi,We have two Zebra label printers mapped to a print agent that the warehouse uses to print labels. However, printing through IFS is taking a long time around 10 minutes. (Print agent is taking some time to fetch jobs from ifs). Each time it slows down, we restart the print agent and it works again without slowness.Currently, we have a logical printer named TEST1 mapped in the code as shown below: As a potential solution, we are considering setting up the Zebra printers as network printers(wirelessly through Wi-Fi) in the warehouse, . If we set up these two printers on the network instead of using the print agent, is there a way to specify the network printer details in DATA_CAPT_CMOD_PALL_PRIN_API?How can we define it in code? Alternatively, are there any other solutions you would recommend to prevent slowness in printing? We are open to suggestions such as optimizing the print agent configuration, enhancing network setup, or any other best practices that could help improve the perf

Granted permission from Custom view disappear and reappear again

Hi,There was an instance it happened like from PURCHASE_REQ_LINE_CFV all the Grantees (assigned permission sets) were removed and It appeared back after some days.We have tried to check the history log as it was enabled in Security_SYS_TAB and saw that the same permission sets were been shown as delete, and Insert in history type column. What could be the reason for this kind of situation and how can we avoid this in future? We suspected this could be because of the Network issue while deploying changes in the PURCHASE_REQ_LINE_CFV. EDI Order Confirmation ORDRSP for failed incoming orders

EDIFACT standards for the ORDRSP message appear to provide for a ORDRSP message if the incoming ORDERS message is rejected (see below), which I take to be in IFS terms then if the incoming order is at status stopped then an ORDRSP message could be returned with a code indicating that the order message (or order change message) has been rejected.UN EDIFACT - If the MESSAGE FUNCTION CODE is a "12", "27" or "29" indicating that the total message was not processed, rejected or accepted. No segments, other than mandatory segments, need be used in the message Header, Detail or Summary sections. However for positive reporting purposes all the segments of the ORDERS or ORDCHG message, being responded to, may be used in ORDRSP. However IFS only appears to be able to send an ORDRSP message once the incoming order has been approved and a customer order created.Has anyone been able to work out how to send an ORDRSP message to customers when their order or order change message is at status stopped

Bulk Data Entry/Excel Upload in IFS Cloud

In previous versions of IFS we always used the ‘Magic Spreadsheet’ to bulk import our Basic Data into our REF environment. How do we do this in IFS Cloud 23R1? I have tried the copy/paste function but unfortunately it doesn’t work between environments (i.e., cannot copy data from DEV to TEST etc).Surely there must be a way to add data in bulk without having to resort to using data migration scripts?

Picking to Shipment HU

Hi all, Using the latest cloud version.Occasionally when picking, we will case pick one HU over on to two Shipment HU’s, the issue i am having is that if i was to split 50 parts on to one Shipment HU and 25 on to another, it is asking me to pick all 75 in one go, which i don't want to do. I understand that it is trying to be more efficient but in this case it is causing problems, as I just know all 75 will end up on one really tall pallet that the customer will reject and a really small one that wont have enough stock on it. I have set it up correctly in in the “Shipment Handling Unit Structure” tab of the Shipment page. Any help would be appreciated.

Lobby Element Navigator URL Issue

Hello!I hit a rock wall (again) and I was hoping to get some advice. I have a data source that is a subtable in “Object Serial” looking at the Warranties table. IFS9 by the way View: &AO.OBJECT_CUST_WARRANTY_UIVWARRANTY_SYMPTOM_STATUS = 'Active' and Valid_until > (sysdate - 180) and &AO.CUST_ORD_CUSTOMER_API.get_salesman_code(&AO.Part_serial_catalog_api.Get_owning_customer_no(part_no,serial_no)) = '$Salesman$'And the element URL points toifsapf:frmSerialObject?$filter=Part_no eq $[Part_no] and Serial_no eq $[serial_no]However, when you click on the element, you get an error regarding Valid_until, which is a not a value in Serial Object (it’s from the Warranties subtab). I’m sure there’s a way to bypass the need to use a identifier. Any help?

Early Shift Allowance

Business Scenario : If someone clocked before 6AM that person should be paid additional payment for the ordinary hours worked. Similar number of ordinary hours requires to be generated in another wage code too(ordinary number of hours should not be deleted). Question : Can this rule configured using Increment Types? If so how to set that? If Increment Types cannot be used what is the functional area that can be used?
