Lack of Appointment Offers in Low Volume Dataset

Due to the nature of our business, we have a dataset that is very low volume. This dataset is for seasonal installations (so the summer months have more volume) and resources in this dataset are only booking appointments for accounts they installed. Because of this, the overall plan quality for this dataset is much lower than our other datasets that book non-seasonal work. When we do request availability for resources in this dataset, we have been noticing that the ABE is not offering all available appointment slots. We see a lot of appointment offers where Available = False and Reason_Code = 470, despite a few resources actually being able to accomplish the work during that time frame requested (Sufficient drive times, skills, time allotments, etc). When we analyze these situations, the ABE is stating that the appointment offer came back as Available = False because it would decrease the overall plan quality. IFSAPP8 SP1 (JBOSS) The database and Application Server were moved to the new OS from the legacy OS (windows 2008).Database. Oracle 11.2.0.4 OS Windows 2012-R2 CPU SpikesJBOSS: Windows 2012After the OS change, the CPU will randomly spike to 100%, which causes the users to lose their session. The Users can log in after the DB server and the Application Server is restarted. Kindly share a solution if you have experienced this type of issue.

Customer Write-Off Tax

Hi, I would like to clear off the tax when doing a customer write-off. For the write off code, I made it taxable (for WO). I also added a tax code for this write-off.When I generate the customer proposal, the tax amount is not written off in a different account like I expected (generating the posting control PP33 or PP34).Do you know how I can clear out the customer claim in 2 lines (one would be the tax amount) ? Negative Exponentials for Analysis Results. UoM Factor Norm type

We are using Manufacturing Control Plans (Analysis) to capture data that is presented and recorded at 1.0x10^-8. 2 questions,I created a unit of measure with a Factor as 1*10^-8. In the Analysis. why cant I type in my number 1.0, and that exponential apply to it? It does not recognize it.I can set my Outer Max to be the exponential in the control plan as “5E-08” it pulls in to the analysis as “5E-08,” pictured above. When I enter my results in the exponential format, the pass/fail properly calculates, but after being saved it shows as the zeros below. I know the cell is able to handle the number of digits because when I type in the result in the decimal format and save it stays the same, pictured below.

Subtract cost and project hours via journal entry

We have a transaction whereby 10 hours of labor was booked to a project activity at a total cost of $1,000. Would it be possible to reverse this using a journal entry (ie. cost is reduced by $1,000 and Used/Actual hours is reduced by 10 hours) ? Any help would be appreciated.

Job Completion

I am noticing that even when a job has no unfinished activity and is complete sometime the job completion % on the PM lobby is still showing very low like 10 or 20%. Other times it will be like 179%. How is the job completion % calculated?

Malaysia Einvoice Mandate

IRBM in Malaysia is going to impose an E-invoice mandate starting on the 1st of August, 2024. As per this new legal requirement, AR invoices must be transmitted to the government through a service provider, and IFS should be able to read the response files received from the government. Additionally, it is required to raise self-billed supplier invoices for certain transaction types, such as AP invoices from foreign suppliers.Since Malaysian localization is supported in GET, we would like to know R&D's plans and preparations to handle this new legal requirement. Will this be considered for Apps10 GET? Is there any timeline for the implementation?This mandate is crucial for IFS customers in Malaysia as non-compliance involves penalties. HI IFS Community,Could you help me with the following problem?I created a BR report with one Design Row. When I run the report, I get an error message: "Maximum number of rows to retrieve during statement execution" has been reached. The parameter "Maximum number of rows to retrieve during statement execution" is set to 65,000.The report fetches data from a Quick Information Source, which contains much more than 65,000 records. To solve this problem, I split the records in the Quick Information Source into two sets. For one set, the DESIGN_ROW_NO column has a value of 1, and for the other set, it has a value of 2. Each set of records contains fewer than 65,000 records.In the report, instead of one Design Row, I created two Design Rows. One shows records that meet the condition DESIGN_ROW_NO = 1, and the other shows records that meet the condition DESIGN_ROW_NO = 2. But when I run the report, I still get the error message: "Maximum number of rows to retrieve during statement execution"

When UK customer Uses their general Annual Leave Calculation provided by GOV.UK . This values doesn’t match with the calculation done by IFS

We need to get an understanding on how annual leave allowances calculated in IFS , and what attributes contribute to the annual leave count. It is identified that When UK customer Uses their general Annual Leave Calculation provided by GOV.UK . This values doesn’t match with the calculation done by IFS . Due to the Customer has to always adjust these with Absence Limit parameters. Purchase Charges visible in inventory unit cost

Hi all, The case as follows.A company is using Purchase Charges for:Duty TransportThose are connected to Purchase Order Line (material). Inventory valuation method for inventory purchase parts is Weighted Average, Cost Per Lot Batch + Transaction Based.So, the value for ARRIVAL transaction is calculated as: material price 1000 + duty 100 + transport 50 = 1150. This is fine.But from inventory part unit cost perspective they can only see total / accumulated value, always expressed as one single row having Cost Bucket ID - e.g. 110 or MAT (material cost) = 1150. Is there any method to see inventory unit cost with “charges” precision as different cost buckets? They would like to know that under this total value 1150 there is 100 of duty and 50 of transport.Any ideas appreciated. PS. Already tried:Cost Source → there is no cost source type = charge RMB “Modify cost” by INVREVAL → not sure if that works with invoice matching having +/- differences, supplier correction invoices Best Regards,

ORA-21700 (object does not exist or is marked for delete)

Hi,I'm working on the IFS' service to expose some LU's data to the outside world. For implementation I'm using fragment, projection and utility. Of course - as it is during implementation - there are lots of model changes, utility changes and complications. I've noticed that an ORA-21700 (object does not exist or is marked for delete) error appears quite often when calling the service's function (both from Postman and from the Chrome browser). Sometimes it helps to drop the projection's SVC package and its body and compile it once again. Error occurs even before the function's implementation is called. I've analyzed server's log and in odata POD's log I've found that ORA-21700 occurs when trying to execute following select statement: SELECT PROPOSAL_ID, ENG_ATTRIBUTE, DESCRIPTION FROM TABLE(L_Inv_Part_Cfg_Service_SVC.Rd_Query_Proposal_Characteristic_Additional_Tmplts(?, unbound## => '')) my projection is called LInvPartCfgService and function is defined as follows:function QueryProp

Posting Proposals navigation from lobby in Aurena

I have seen the idea with title “Posting Proposal page search/filtering doesn't exist like other Aurena pages” , The explanation to this limitation is the following:The destination page - “Posting proposals” is designed in a different way than regular Aurena pages: it uses functions as the data source for the list element on this page. With this design, the current Aurena framework cannot support search/filtering support for this page. So navigations from the lobby or elsewhere cannot give the desired filtering here. (Note that even the “Search“option is not available for this page) As the posting proposals window is central in all invoice follow up, it is very unfortunate that filtering from lobby element is not working.My question to all you smart people in IFS Community is; Is there a possibility to navigate from lobby element and instruct the Posting Proposal page through parameters to open with a pre-defined search? Shipment - Purchase Receipt Return - Dispatch Advice Sent?

We have an Internal Customer Order and Purchase Orde between our UK and Spain Company. But we are having an issue on the Purchase Receipt Return and Automatically Generating the Dispatch Advice1) Spain raised a purchase order to UK and sent the order (EDI)2) UK fulfils customer order for Spain and sends the dispatch advice3) Spain receives Incoming Dispatch advice, but the unit fails inspection4) Spain creates purchase receipt return, connects this to a shipment and delivers back to UK.However no automatic Dispatch Advice is sent to the UK and we therefore cannot book in the returned part in the UK.How do we solve this?

Brazil Extension Supplier setup

APP10 UPD9 - I’m trying to setup the Brazil Extension and am running into an error message when trying to create a Purchase Order. My supplier that I’m using is a US company, the PO is being placed from the Brazil company with Brazil Localization turned on.When creating a purchase order for the US supplier and try to save the header I get the following error. Operation Id should be entered on Supplier Tax Info for supplier xxxxx and address xx.I’m not finding where on the supplier address tab this goes. Any help is appreciated.

Disassembly Cost Calculations for Parts Manufactured Internally

I have a buildable manufacturing structure/routing and a buildable disassembly structure/routing for one part number, MW-M-103.The manufacturing structure uses these component parts:The disassembly structure produces these disassembly component parts (each inventory part type is Disassembly Component):I have calculated the standard manufacturing costs for MW-M-103 in Cost Set 2 and copied to Cost Set 1 using the standard template M-110.Each Disassembly Component has cost template D-110, with Use Distribution Cost 'on', attached in all Cost Sets.When I performed the Disassembly Cost Calculation for MW-M-103 in Cost Set 2, no material costs from bucket 110 were distributed to the components, only operation costs.
