Hi all,I have a question regarding "Update map Position". When a technician updates the map position, the current position is updated in the app as the object location. Is it also synchronized to the back office as the object location? As per the description of the help documents, I understand it that way. But, the MapPositions in the object in the back office was not updated when I tried. Is it only for that task?Any idea on this?  Cheers.

Hi IFS Community ! Seeking your advice please. Currently we have the IFS app for ios but this is only for the company’s internal employees. Is there a way for us to publish IFS app to our subcontractors (external) who provide service on customer sites, so they can access IFS mobile app on ios to complete the surveys on tasks being assigned.Though I raised a support ticket, was directed to the community so your expertise can help with any answers.Thanks in advanceMadhu

Hello everyone, I have a question about how the purchase return process is carried out with freight value embedded in that return in IFS App 10, why ask? Because when the Receipt was made, the freight was included to pay this freight and in the return of this purchase, despite having the freight field in the Additional Charges tab on the Invoice Request screen, IFS does not allow you to enter the value giving an error message.  I would like to know in this case how to put this freight amount in the Return of purchase of this material.

When adding a Parent Document to a Document Folder can you also add the child  document at same time?

I’ve added event_sys.event_execute as a custom action via projection configuration. The action takes 3 parameters win which 2 of them are fine.The last parameter is of type message_sys in PLSQL, which creates a message with carriage return. But it seems like when mapping in page designer - it doesn’t allow to paste carriage return.question is, how can we go about this?we are simply trying to invoke an event that has an action with online SQL that puts an application message in the queue and sends it out using the traditional way.

HiWe need to create a number of suppliers that are existing customers. Is there a way do this using some sort of copy function or do we need to create the suppliers from scratch. We are using IFS Aurena CheersGT

Hello,I have noticed that six work orders are being generated every other day by a scheduler, and while the jobs and templates reference a PM, the maintenance plan itself does not contain such a work order. The concept of Rule ID is being utilized. Can anyone provide insight into the specific logic behind this situation?Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi All,Customer has a working schedule where Mon to Thursday 8.25 hours and on Fridays 4.5 hours and which allows employee to login anytime and they are expected to work only 4 hours to complete a day I was able to get this minimum work hours setup successful using the parameter list functionality for Monday to Thursday but I'm unable to find a way to do it for Fridays. Can anyone suggest me how we can do this? Best Regards,Dharshan.

Currently, we operate on a perpetual license model within Apps10 IE. We need clarification regarding the points mentioned below.1. Do we have the option to maintain the perpetual licensing model, or are we required to transition to a subscription license when we upgrade to IFS Cloud?2. Is IFS Cloud available for on-premises deployment with the IFS Cloud perpetual license?3. The same IFS10 Perpetual license can be continued without any additional cost in the IFS Cloud ( Cloud Perpetual License mode) .4. If we decide to surrender our perpetual Full User Licenses and Limited User Licenses, would this lead to a reduction in our current AMC costs?4. Is there is any category in the user licenses like LTU ( Limited Task User ) and Full User Limit.5. We need full understanding of the subscription model Vs perpetual license model, if any document available, please share the same.

We are looking to create a quiet period in the application (FSM6u25) during which daily database jobs can be allowed to run without interfering with or being interfered by scheduled FSM processes.  Is there a native way in the application to pause all scheduled processes at, for example, 12:30a and resume at 4:00a to allow for the db indexing and back-ups to take place?Thanks,Richard

Hi all, Noticing something odd when trying to schedule an SQL quick report in IFS cloud. (24R1) (24.1.2)When scheduling an SQL quick report as any non administrative user, everything other than the parameters are unchangeable from their default values. After entering the quick report parameters, The Schedule, Schedule options, and archive options can’t be changed, but the user is still able to create the schedule. In the below image, I can not change the schedule name, or the recurrence pattern at all On the next page, I can’t change the language code, select the report cue, or send the stream notification.
