Hello All,I’m facing an error while trying to enable the Custom event action and Projection Action for Workflows (BPA) in Cloud 23R1. Haven’t faced this issue in 22R2. Has anyone faced this issue earlier? Please advice. 

A supplier invoice was matched in mixed payments with a remaining balance. There is a debit and a credit balance showing in supplier offset but when I try to clear the remaining balance there I get the following message: ‘Invoice cannot be cleared in supplier offset because it is used in a Manual Supplier payment/supplier offset/Netting Preliminary payment. Is there another way to clear this?

We are trying to cancel customer order invoice that are  in a Preliminary status.based on the trace file (cause we are able to do that manually) : The CancelDebitInvoice method is to be used. We are able to cancel the invoice using rest api, but when trying to implement this in a migration job : we have the following error : Arguments used to execute current operation are not allowed.   Any Idea Please? Thank you in advance ​@kamnlk ​@dsj your help would be apretiated

Hello! My finance department uses Customer Offsets in IFS10 to view completed customer offsets. We have found this screen to be missing in IFS Cloud. Has anyone found where you can see completed offsets?

I’m using OData with IFS Cloud R23.2. I need to pull a specific DocumentText record related to a specific CustomerInfo record. In QueryDesigner I found that the DocumentText entity is connected to other entities via the DocumentText.NoteId attribute. Via the log console I found the NoteId for the Customer record I was referring to and by using that NoteId I can see the three DocumentText records for that customer. However, I do not see any place in the CustomerInfo where the NoteId is stored. Where can I find the NoteId for a Customer?

Business: water bottles delivery Route drivers are delivering water bottles with 1 Litre, 2 Litres, 3 Litre, …. etc with different quantities.ex: customer 1 - 3 bottles of 1 litre bottle each week, Customer 2- 2 bottles of 3 Litres bottles each 2 weeks , Customer 3 - 10 bottles of 25 Litres bottles each monthThey have created standard task for each type of water bottles.But customers are requesting different different quantities, that cannot be handled through recurring service program since the services adding only fixed qty to recurring service programs. Work around is to create several standard task with different quantities. But what if customer asked 100 types of quantities. Is there plan to open the recurring service program  for different material quantities and no of resources?Is there a way of balancing water bottles delivery by checking the weight or volume, may be changing the delivery dates

Hi AllWe noticed that when a supplier sends an order quotation as a reply to an RFQ, the total price per quotation is not reflected in IFS. e.g. The total of the following 2 lines is not calculated  How big of a development is it, do you think if we are to fetch the Price total per order quotation? Or am I missing something? Next question is the order quotation number sequence. We cannot control it. I was thinking like having a reference to the requisition no. e.g. If the Requisition is 518, the quotation numbers should be 518-1, 518-2, etc Is this possible at all? I know IFS has screens like Coordinator Groups and Enterprise Identities Series which gives me the option to decide the next in sequence. It is missing Order Quotation. Isn't this something IFS needs to develop? Thanks,Asela 

Hello All,Currently we are using Astea Alliance Version 14 HF 29. Application is used across 6 countries but now we have requirement from 2 countries that they need checklist with one question and base on answer (Yes/No) we have 2 more question with text. We have implement the checklist for one country. We have mapped contracts for that checklist so that whenever any service order is created using that contract, checklist will be added to activity but now we have request from another country and they also need the same checklist but they want it base on Node. How can we configure it? We don’t have that option in Alliance.

Hi,  We have added an eform as a mandatory step before completing the work task. It is the last step before ‘Report in’. However, even if the eform has been completed, MWO gives the error message saying ‘This action is mandatory’ when we attempt to Report in. Is there a reason behind this? It does not happen always but sometimes.  Thank you,

Hello,we have in our company some employee that reports there activity in reality between 2 Organization Unit.For exemple 20% on organisation A / 80% on organisation B Looking at the Assignment view in Oracle, it seems that is planned to be able to split the Employee on several Organisations.  Looking into IFS, it is a bit strange, because we can not partially assign to a specific Organization Unit. (as suggested in the Oracle view) So the Question is if anyone knows if we can share an Employee on several Organisation Unit  as Primary ?Thanks in advance to the community for the support.kind regards,/ Anthony

Hello Community,I am willing to restrict the view on the employee’s bank details.There are registered in the properties (for expenses payment) and in the employee file.I was thinking than an attribute could restrict the view on that data but none already available seems to work as needed.Have you experienced this request before?thank you!

Hi community,I want to setup for one employee to authorize himself the time registration.I have created  a new attribute with self-access.Assigned to a new role created as welland then assigned this role to the mentioned employee.But when I try to authorize the time card the option still not availableAlso, this employee have a supervisor access HR.What am i missing?Regards, 

One of our buyers is getting this error message when trying to connect a PO line to a project:  

We have two IFS Cloud installations (one 23R2 and one 24R1) for which we have VPN tunnels to access the databases in UsePlace. When up and running it works fine, but the tunnels goes down seemingly intermittently. They do not go down at the same time, one can be working when the other one is down and vice versa. When we re-initialise the tunnel it goes online again without a problem. We have not been able to find any solid proof in why it goes down, but it seems that it might have to do with in-activity and that they don’t re-initialise automatically as expected. But we also have some instances where we believe that the tunnel goes down closely after we have used it.We have had support cases to IFS support and made some changes to the VPN configuration, but we still experience problems.Anyone else who has experienced problems with this type of VPN tunnel? Any tips and trix on how to solve this is much appreciated!

Hello, we are facing the challenge to set up a maintenance plan where the trigger is the completion of the previous’ period maintenance activity.   At the moment our Maintenance Plans are set up as Calendar Triggered with a 12 month interval and a 2mo expand backward and forward window around the start date. The target date will be the same every year as will be the window around this date. Now if one year, the maintenance gets completed at the beginning of this window and the next year it gets completed at the end of this window, the interval between services can be very short in one season and very long in the other. What we would like to achieve is that the target date for next years maintenance is dependent on the actual completion date of last years maintenance. this would avoid extremely long or short intervals and allow certain activities to be slowly moved into different seasons if whished, by performing the maintenance early (or late) in the window multiple years in a row.  Is

I am struggling to find what information source that would contain project resource forecasts. It does not show up in the Project Tabular Model (https://docs.ifs.com/ifsclouddocs/24r1/). I also cannot seem to find a entry in the information sources. The only reference I can see in the data mart sources are PROJECT_FCST_CONN_RFC_MV and PROJECT_FCST_CONN_CCO_MV Is this something I would have to build with custom queries or am I missing something? Note, the application table I am referencing is PROJECT_RESOURCE_FCST_TAB, PROJECT_RESOURCE_FSCT_ITEM_TAB, PROJECT_RESOURCE_FSCT_ELEM_TAB I am just trying to find the appropriate data mart source that would contain data from the IFSAPP tables. 

When the Supply Code is Inventory Order, we can Unreserve the line through Reserve Manually option by giving the negative Reserve Qty. But when the Supply Code is Purchase Order, we can not see that Unreserve option in the line level. Can somebody explain me the logic behind this?  Thank You!
