Hi Experts I would like to understand why my screen not displaying the “Valid Data Processing Purpose” checkbox & menu?I’m trying to find the menu as I see from a tutorial: Note: I have tried to set up the Personal Data Management configurations such as Data Subject, Anonymization Setup etc. But I think I need above menu to proceed further.

While utilizing the MRP Action Proposals I do not see a Supplier showing up in the the “Supplier” column for many of the different MRP Messages.  For example, I have an Inventory Part with one supplier up on the Supplier for Purchase Part page, and when MRP runs the Action Proposal says “needs orders” but the Supplier doesn’t show up.  If I right click and select the “Follow Up” option the correct Supplier appears in the Purchase Requisition Lines, which is a good thing, but why doesn’t the Supplier automatically show up (as a suggestion) in the Action Proposals page?  Is there a setting that I may be missing to have the Action Proposal indicate the Primary Supplier from the Supplier for Purchase Part page?  

Is it possible to add a component description to the tree view using the configuration (page designer)? 

Hi, we just made the leap from IFS MRO to IFS9 (huge jump).  In the IFS9 help it seems to say that when a WO is in released and the operation is released you should be able to do a RMB on the operation line and finish that operation out.  However we do not seem to get any status for the operation other than Release (when WO is released) and then Cancel.  When we RMB the close out is never an option.  Is there some other setup we are missing to allow this to close out this way?  We can finish the ops from the header when the WO gets Finished.  BUT we need to close operations 1 at a time and not all at the same time.  Thanks for any insight!!!

Hi,The IFSCloud application is sending an unmanageable number of SFTP reader requests to the external SFTP server. Is it possible to reduce the frequency of SFTP reads in the IFSCloud SFTP Connect Reader? I would like to apply a portion of an amount of advance invoice on customer invoice.So I did a customer offset on advance invoice and CUPOA and i have the following error message “advance invoices are not allowed”. 

When you create an advance invoice for a customer order, the advance payment is automatically offset with the final invoice is created. However, if the advance invoice has not been paid at the moment the final invoice is created, the advance invoice is not offset and the final invoice will invoice the full amount. You then need to create a credit invoice for the advance invoice and offset it with the advance invoice. Is there a way to offset the advance invoice with the final invoice, even if it has not been paid yet? Both the advance invoice (e.g. 30%) and the final invoice (70%) should be open. I know that stage billing can be used as an alternative, but the downside of that is that it posts revenue when a stage billing is created. But no costs are created. Therefore, we don't want to use stage billing. 

HI,We have several customers which are in purchasing organisations.Until 2025 the invoice was sent to the purchasing organisation via EDI.And the very same invoice was printed and sent to the customer by mail. We wondered whether it is possible to send the invoice via EDI to the purchasing organisation and additionally via einvoice to the customer? Is there a way to use both message classes at the same time? BR,Alex

Hi,After upgrading our environment from version 23R2 to 24R2, we can no longer see scheduling under the service and cannot navigate to PSO. Do I need to make any changes to the permission set?

HiWhen I use Calculate Master Schedule Level 1 with a specified part number, it successfully creates a Distribution Order.However, when scheduling it without a part number, it should automatically consider part numbers based on the site, but no Distribution Order is created.How can we resolve this? Please explain about calculate master schedule level1.

Hi.  We are currently running IFS Cloud 23R1 in the Gov Cloud. My understanding based on release notes is that Constraint Based Scheduling (CBS) / Advanced Planning Board (APB) functionality will eventually be deprecated, to be replaced with Manufacturing Scheduling and Optimization (MSO) functionality.   We recently upgraded to 23R1, but the MSO functionality is not available, presumably because it is licensed separately.  We have security configured to secure ITAR data at the site level, so we have set up a regular non-ITAR site and an ITAR site for such locations.  These locations have work centers that are used for both ITAR and non-ITAR work, so separate work centers are set up in each site for the same physical work centers.  This results in a lot of manual work to maintain the schedules and capacity, so we are looking into a possible customization to have work center capacity / scheduling automatically updated for these work centers - so that when a shop order operation is creat

Recently i came across this issue on clustered environment. I did Application restart, DB Restart and session kills nothing resolved thisEven this Session is locked by ifs. But no pending changes exist. Release configuration to allow edit. | IFS Community didn't resolve this.I managed to resolve this by running reconfiguration.

We are seeking a solution to the creation of material purchase requisitions directly from the Shop Order Materials tab within the IFS Application. This essential functionality is currently Not Available is the IFS Application, At present, users are required to manually input material requirements through the Purchase Requisition screen, which can be time-consuming.  and the function of “MRP” is available, however there is a connection between the “demands” and “supply” so a user cannot identify if his required materials have been ordered or not.Can we do it functionally or configuration?By adding the material purchase requisition creation process to the Shop Order Materials tab, the requisition would be linked to the shop order making it user-friendly and have accurate tracking of purchases to shop order. This will help to streamline operations, enhance accuracy, and ultimately improve productivity.Thanks

Hi, In designing lobbies in IFS Cloud we could use variable substitutions such as ‘#START_OF_THIS_WEEK#’. I encountered an issue when we use these variables in WHERE conditions with - (days). e.g.  if we have a criteria to take the date before the start of the week, I would think that this would work. ‘#START_OF_THIS_WEEK#’ -1 but we ended up here with the following error. but, if we use the database method to retrieve the same value here. it works fine.  Am I doing something wrong with the use of these substitution variables? or is this a bug? If we use the variables alone they works fine.  

Is there any way in which you can trace which purchase order lines have been raised against specific material requisitions?  I can trace a purchase order line back to the purchase requisition but there doesn’t seem to be a link back to the demand source of that purchase requisition.

Hi, I’m trying to set up use of Employee Cards to register employee attendance clockings in IFS 10 IEE via Time Clock. As an example, I’ve set up the employee/person with the Card No. below, and set up the card parameters to match (I think): The time clock detail for the button is set to Card Driven Execution, but when I attempt to scan a barcode (with characters 0000001590) using a barcode reader after clicking “In”, nothing changes and the terminal still reads “Clock In: Swipe the Card.” However, if I use a standalone time clock client, I get an error saying “Employee    not a time clock user.” Scanning the barcode into a text document or other fields in IFS gives the expected result (0000001590). Unfortunately, the debug menu shows nothing when I click the button or attempt to scan the barcode. Has anyone else encountered this behavior or a workaround for it?

Hello,I’m having trouble with the IFS Document Management Add-in for MS Office.  If I go from an email the system opens the Create Document from Microsoft Office dialog and list the correct file name but the system will not enable the finish button.If I try from word, the system flashes up a quick dialog that says it Launching IFS Arena, then nothing.I’ve tried on 3 URLs and no luck.  I get the Create Document from Microsoft Office to show up for the .msg type file from Outlook but no Finish button.  And for word document, nothing except a quick flash of a dialog.Can anyone give me any clues?

Hello Community!I’m trying to create a schedule and rule which includes a 50 hr weekly limit after which ALL time is converted to DT (double time).  The problem I’m having - the conversion order.  The requirement is to convert (reduce) OT time first, then reduce Normal time.  IFS is taking from Normal time first - I need the opposite.  The Conversion Default Check box doesn’t seem to change the order of conversion.  Any experience out there?  Schedule:5Dx8H MTWTFBalance Definition:Cheers, Troy
