Hello, we are facing the challenge to set up a maintenance plan where the trigger is the completion of the previous’ period maintenance activity.   At the moment our Maintenance Plans are set up as Calendar Triggered with a 12 month interval and a 2mo expand backward and forward window around the start date. The target date will be the same every year as will be the window around this date. Now if one year, the maintenance gets completed at the beginning of this window and the next year it gets completed at the end of this window, the interval between services can be very short in one season and very long in the other. What we would like to achieve is that the target date for next years maintenance is dependent on the actual completion date of last years maintenance. this would avoid extremely long or short intervals and allow certain activities to be slowly moved into different seasons if whished, by performing the maintenance early (or late) in the window multiple years in a row.  Is

I am struggling to find what information source that would contain project resource forecasts. It does not show up in the Project Tabular Model (https://docs.ifs.com/ifsclouddocs/24r1/). I also cannot seem to find a entry in the information sources. The only reference I can see in the data mart sources are PROJECT_FCST_CONN_RFC_MV and PROJECT_FCST_CONN_CCO_MV Is this something I would have to build with custom queries or am I missing something? Note, the application table I am referencing is PROJECT_RESOURCE_FCST_TAB, PROJECT_RESOURCE_FSCT_ITEM_TAB, PROJECT_RESOURCE_FSCT_ELEM_TAB I am just trying to find the appropriate data mart source that would contain data from the IFSAPP tables. 

When the Supply Code is Inventory Order, we can Unreserve the line through Reserve Manually option by giving the negative Reserve Qty. But when the Supply Code is Purchase Order, we can not see that Unreserve option in the line level. Can somebody explain me the logic behind this?  Thank You!

There is a blank value that is appearing in drop downs. Does anyone know the reason why and how to remove it?  Metadata default value is “OPEN”. Code table has no blank values.  

Hi EveryoneDo you notice lastly problems with Odata pod? Time to time it restarted automaticaly after reaching some memory pick. This is quite strange because many of environments are affected by this(PROD, CFG and even DEV envrionments with poor usage). It is observed by many toast message which are shown in IFS Cloud. Few hours ago I faced problem like this. It disapeared automatically after Odata pod is up again. Hello, We are experiencing an issue related to PSO manual changes (drag & drop rescheduling in the PSO gantt).We are on 6.14.0.27 as of Saturday Feb 01 2025.What we are seeing is as follows:A user will drag the activity to a new location (either same resource, different time or a different resource & different time)  Then when the activity is “dropped” (manual change initiated), the manual changes side bar / pop out box will be opened However, the “Validate and Apply Changes” & “Apply Changes” & “Validate” buttons will be greyed out., The option is Cancel This is the case with Preview Changes applied or not applied The target (updated) date & time field will be reflected in the manual changes box, but PSO is not detecting that changes have been made If the user then makes a subsequent change to any field in any of the fields in the manual changes side bar / pop out window or drags the activity icon a second time, only then are the change buttons available to select.

Hello Everyone,The client has implemented the following time reporting process:Employee: Reports and confirms time. Line Manager: Authorizes time. Project Manager: Approves time.Once the Line Manager has authorized the time, the Project Manager needs to review and approve the transaction.I would like to know if there is any specific column or field in the Project Transactions window where the Project Manager can view the time reporting that has already been authorized by the Line Manager.Any suggestions or advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank You,Navoda

I’m wondering, when I do an All Parts Cost Calculation, how does it decide whether to use the parts’ Unit Cost instead of the part’s structure?  I see the documentation for cloud cost calculations, but how is the question of Calculate Cost per Structure/Routing answered? If it matters, we use FIFO for inventory valuation.  We’re looking to calculate Cost Set 3 for pricing purposes, and wanting to ensure we have entered the inventory part data appropriate for the rollup calculations we expect.  Thanks for any guidance!

I am trying to change the commit rules so activities are committing at 7am on the DAY BEFORE they are scheduled. All shifts begin at 9am, so I set the Time Before Shift Start to 1day 2hours and Time Horizon to 1day. Could anyone tell me where I’ve went wrong, shifts not committing as expected.

We are on APPS 10 UPD20 and trying to do a Credit Card Refund.  Recently we started seeing the error below.  We have previously refunded part of this same order to the same credit card with no issues, now we are trying to refund the remaining balance.  Any idea where I could look on this error?

Hello,I want the calculated tax to be shown separately as Sales and Purchase VAT in the VAT report. The posting amount related to Sales should be shown under the heading for Sales VAT and the corresponding Purchase should be shown under Purchase VAT. Is there any way we can configure the same in IFS Cloud. Thanks in advance.Surbhi 

Hi community, It’s possible to have in the organization 2 roles with the same attribute assigned but with different Data Operation Type? For e.g: Management and HR executiveWith this attribute assigned For role HR Executive grant all the data operation type: Active, Registration, Modification and Removal.But for role Management only: Active and Registration (don’t want to allow edit the absence or removal).The issue is that I just want to give the permission to the supervisor to approve the absence request but not edit or remove it.Regards,

Is it possible to grant access to develop and view quick reports only, without granting the FND_ADMIN permission set?There is a standard permission set called FND_QUICK_REPORTS. If i grant only this to a user, i do not get access to the quick reports. How can we grant access to a user to use quick reports, without granting access to FND_ADMIN

We’re in Apps 10 and currently our doc management system automatically downloads a copy of a file to the user’s machine as soon as it’s opened for viewing. Where does the setting live to turn that functionality off?

We are using IFS for one year and one company and we have already 84 millions lines in the GL Voucher Rows Analysis. 92% of them coming from Inventory Transactions. And most of them are coming from stock transfer.We still have 39 companies to deploy and the volume of posting will be impossible to handle.We would like to have the possibility to activate or deactivate posting for certain Business Event. We really need this featureWe hope you will be able to answer our request

How to hide the navigator  in FSM MObile 

Hello,I don't understand why we don't have the option to apply periodic distribution on customer invoices, while this option is available on preliminary status instant invoices.We can only do this on the accounting entry generated by the invoice, but if the task runs every hour to send it to the general ledger, it's too late. Can you please tell me if there is a setting to be made?  instant invoice we do have the option of period allocation rule thank you for your help

Hello,We use IFS apps 9 and we create Projects and Shop order (same name as the Project) for a site manually. We do not link them currently. We are trying to somehow capture the project information in the Shop order. We can’t select the Project while we create the Shop order. It doesn’t list any project and we can’t hand type it.   

Is there any Belgium localization or documents available for implementing IFS with this belgium requirements ?

Hiho, currently I am setting up an employee survey where I want to have a question like: would you recommend this company as an employer? If the answer is No (depended question), a follow up question of type “open ended” as a free text should show up. This is all working fine, my problem now is, that the free entered text of the follow-up question is nowhere shown in the analysis. Furthermore there is apparently no possibility of analysis questions of type “open-ended” at all or do I miss here anything? Thanks and greetingsDavid
