Hi experts,

when we search data in the Inventory_Transaction_History screen (with  &AO.INVENTORY_TRANSACTION_HIST2) we will see also data 
in the “sub-mask” Accounting &AO.MPCCOM_ACCOUNTING. 
The header shows Transaction Code and the sub-mask a field called Event Code.
The IFS help states:

Transaction Code:
The first field displays the code of the transaction (system event). The second displays the description, as defined in the system events data setup.

Transaction Description:
The transaction  (system event)  description. This description can be changed in the Business Event window.

And:

Posting Event
The ID of the financial event  (system event) , which (in all cases but invoicing) occurs in connection with certain transactions (material, labor, operation, purchase) in IFS Manufacturing and IFS Distribution.

System Event Description
The transaction  (system event)  description. This description can be changed in the Business Event window.

In our case we have more than 21 millions of records where TRANSACTION_CODE = EVENT_CODE so I guess this is “the normal”.
But we also have 3.4 millions of records where both fields don’t match.
 

Could you please tell me more about the mismatch - “case”?
