Creating a project from a template. In the project definition I find the created project I'm going to the design view in the Gantt chart I click "Expand". The project has been developing for a very long time. Is it possible to shorten this process?
Hello everyone, Could someone guide me on how to access the following address subpage please? The need is to access page designer and configure some fields as mandatory Thank you in advance.Kind Regards
There are major issues regarding performance when working in the Project Gantt chart. Even a small WBS will be a challenge and for example creating activities and creating/adjusting dependencies can take minutes. I know this has been a challenge for several years and there are a few topics on the matter. Can we expect any improvements in the near future regarding this issues? Running on 23R2.
Hello,I’m experiencing an issue with reservations in the Customer Order module. A few months ago we introduced new processes in the WADACO module, and since then I’ve noticed some irregular behavior related to reservations. Our workflow is as follows: we create a customer order, and once the pick list is generated, a shipment is automatically created and linked to it. The problem is that the reserved quantities sometimes change unexpectedly. For example, we sell 100 units of a product, but in the reservation view we can see a higher reserved quantity — it suddenly increases to a larger value, e.g., 120 units, without any clear reason.Has anyone encountered a similar issue or knows what might be causing this? Thanks
Hi,It isn’t possible to connect a project activity from the order object if the item has moved beyond the Planned status, regardless of whether it is a Customer Order Line, Purchase Order Line, or Shop Order. The item must be in Planned status to enable the connection. However, several customers have raised concerns about this limitation, expressing the need to have the “Connect to Activity” functionality available even after the Customer Order (CO) is released to connect projects, as this is a common scenario in real-world business operations. Thanks,Vihan Weerapura
We have a couple of report layouts that can’t be opened in Report Designer 200.3.0000The layouts work in IFS Cloud to generate printouts and they can be opened and modified in the older Report Designer for v10 (100.0.0003).The error message given, when opening the layout, in the latest version:“Mismatch between total span of value of 120 and no of columns of the table”Clicking OK on the message, the layout is closed and not possible to edit in this version. I can’t find anything in the documentation about this error, or anyone who can answer and help me how to address the issue. To be able to work around this I had to install the old version of Report designer on a different server, because the old version requires Java 8 while the new version requires Java 11 and I can’t make them co-exist on the same computer. The only location where ‘120’ exists in the RDL is in this location: <table-cell> <properties>
Hi,I have a mismatch between the PSO allocation and the information that arrived in IFS Cloud. My scheduling window is very large, 30 days. I have a task scheduled in PSO for 02/12/2025; however, this information did not come back to IFS Cloud. When I have an allocated date of 01/12/2025, this information does come back to IFS Cloud. I don’t know where or if there is a value that needs to be set. Can someone advise me?Thanks.Stefania
Hi.We’ve been doing some modifying via page designer on request of our users and updating some fields on the Service Contract page as “Required”. Setting fields in a Wizard will highlight a required field in red if its left empty, but this doesn’t seem to be the case on pages that do not include wizards as seen here: You can see the * next to the field name indicating its required, but even when blank its not highlighted in red. This is also the case for fields that are not custom. Are the fields not being highlighted on regular views because they’re not required for creating the pages content such as in a wizard, or is there a way to get these fields to also be highlighted? Thank you in advance.
In IFS Cloud, Functional Objects are used to build the physical/site structure, and Serial Objects represent instantiated parts with a serial number (e.g., each machine is a Serial Object belonging to a Functional Object/site).What is the recommended or reference method in IFS Cloud to: Capture and maintain the software version for each machine (each Serial Object)? Track software products installed at a site that do not have a serial number and therefore cannot be represented as Serial Objects? Out of the box, I see several possible mechanisms, but I’m unsure which one is considered best practice for software/version tracking: Technical Classes / Characteristics Test Points / Parameters Documents (DMS) Service Notes Installed Base Object Structure (but software is not serialized → would need to be a Functional Object, which cannot be placed under a Serial Object) What is the usual or recommended approach to model machine firmware/software versions and site-level software in
I have been trying to receive a shop order using an IFS REST API. main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/ReceiveShopOrderHandling.svc/ReceiveShopOrderSetI execute this request successfully. I append the correct fields, quantities, and toggle the flags to denote reception. All rolls smooth and returns and object key and tag reference.I then executemain/ifsapplications/projection/v1/ReceiveShopOrderHandling.svc/ReceiveShopOrderSet(Objkey='" + key + "')/IfsApp.ReceiveShopOrderHandling.ReceiveShopOrder_FinishExecute?"to finish the execution and flush the virtual table. Both requests are successful and return 200 status opcodes. However, nothing happens in IFS. There is zero indication any receipt was performed. I pass in the correct order number, release number, sequence number, and part number. I also append my finish request with the appropriate e-tag and object key.Is this a known bug?
Hi All,Need guidance on how to configure overtime banking in IFS. The requirement is that employees can choose to bank their overtime hours instead of being paid at the 1.5 rate. They should be able to save up to 40 hours per year. They may then take time off in lieu and also build the bank back up again within the same year. Employees should have the flexibility to either:Convert the banked overtime hours into Lieu Leave, or Receive a payout on a selected date.If anyone knows how to set this up in IFS or has experience with a similar configuration, please advise.Thank you!
HiI am working on an integration IN IFS Cloud, where in PLSQL code I am getting the document from document management (as BLOB) and want to send it to Connect to be uploaded to ftp server using FTP_SENDER. I cannot find any method in PLSQLAP_SERVER_API that can handle BLOB message.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hi there,Version: 10.14Env: Enterprise ExplorerWhen i checked MEDIA_LIBRARY_API, i see limitated parameters as only 5 on procedure check_and_create_connection.So how can attach a media correctly when key values are higher than 5? Why this limitated actually, any idea? When i attach manually to some entity which key values parameters higher than 5 on enterprise explorer, i see CONNECTED_OBJ_REF1 .. CONNECTED_OBJ_REF5 in media_library_tab, but also i see 7 parameters on KEY_REF column. Also this entity has 8 keys field not even 7. What is the point here?Do u know any other way? Maybe with a custom pl/sql for transform manipulation on object connection etc.Thanks.

There isn’t any field level help for the Proportion field on the Limit Definition Details screen. It’s in the Limit Settings grouping. We have it set to Yes, Must be earned before used. We’re assuming that within a period, which we’ve defined as 2 weeks that if we’re 1 week into a period that 50% of the period’s allocation will be earned. Then we have the phrase “must be earned before used”, we think this implies that the absence isn’t earned until the employee works that period. In other words, if the employee leaves at the beginning of the 3rd period in December, they will only accrue 2 weeks of the monthly amount and not the full month’s amount. Are we understanding how this works correctly? Thank you
Hello,I’m working on a workflow which :- create catalog / inv / purchase / sales part on different sites- create routing and product structure, work guidelines and fill those with an original shop order / sales part datas- create a supplier for purchase part link and create price list element Link of png of the bpa as i can’t upload directly here : https://ibb.co/wrQvL9ZTThis include a lot of API GET calls to get data to construct POST calls, and to control state of data for logic control.I’m getting the following error when I try to inspect it (to finish to build the workflow) :“It took long time to inspect the Workflow. Hi All, A customer has a process where they create a work order + work task. From that Work order they create the Service Quotation. Now they had the case that something went wrong and they cancelled one of the work tasks connected to that work order. But when you try to create a Service Quotation now, IFS will give an error: Now I don’t fully understand why IFS gives this error. Shouldn’t the proper behaviour be to create the Service Quotation but ignore the Cancelled Work Task? is there anything I am missing here because right now the only option I see is that my customer needs to cancel the entire WO (including the correct Work Tasks) and start all over again.(I also tested to create a Service Quotation and use ‘Connect WO’ but that give the same error). Any tips or suggestions on this error? Best RegardsRoel Timmermans
When trying to create a new service quotation from the work task, the system blocks the action due to a cancelled task within the work order.

HiWe are working in App9 SP11I have a reported problem where we have project demand for a particular part. When we run Project MRP for the project activity, it creates requisitions for other demands on the same activity, but not for this one specific part.I cannot see any issues with the part - it has the same config as for all the others. Is there a log for Project MRP? The background job doesn’t provide enough information. I’m hoping that that there is a log somewhere that might give a clue why this particular part demand is not being processed.
This is an issue I’ve faced for quite a while now, it’s been tested in both 24R1 and 25R1. Whenever I create an end event of type IFS Failure Event and enter another locale, it replaces any non-english characters with diamond question marks in the client. In this example I’ve used Swedish åäö but I assume it would be the same for other languages. So far I’ve just rewritten the messages with synonyms but it’s getting unfeasible with more specific messages. This is how it looks like in the designer: This is the message shown to the user: This is what the debugger shows: Is there any specific notation we can use to get around this? Is the issue in Camunda or IFS?
We have Recently implemented SSO on our PPM development instance. As part of the process, non-federated user accounts now require email-formatted usernames. We have an FSM integration that updates certain data in PPM (e.g., task dates and status). After SSO changes, FSM is failing to send updates because the credentials used in the XML scripts for integration still reference the old username format.Could you please suggest, what is the recommended approach to update FSM integration credentials and test them before moving SSO changes to production?Advance thank you!!
