Running SSRS Reports with SQL Queries in Cloud Environment

Forum|alt.badge.img

Hi All,

I have a few concerns regarding the uplift of SSRS reports to the cloud environment.

Currently, I’m trying to run an SSRS report that includes a SQL query in its dataset. However, I'm encountering an error when attempting to connect to the Oracle database datasource.

According to the IFS documentation, the plugin has been set up as instructed. Could you please confirm if this configuration supports running SSRS reports that use SQL queries directly in the dataset? Or is there a different approach we should follow for cloud-based SSRS reporting?

Appreciate your guidance on this.

As per the deprecation log shared at IFS Community Crystal Reports and SSRS Reports were discontinued in 25R1 .

I would not spend time to uplift.

Hi XitDeminN

Could you kindly check whether the Oracle Client for Microsoft Tools has been configured in the SSRS server or not?!
