PGP Public key and OpenPGP standard software for SFTP connection

Hi All,There is a requirement to create a public PGP key for data encryption in the Apps 10 SFTP connection.If anyone is aware of this, please let me know.Also, is there a recommended OpenPGP standard software name for encrypting/decrypting files and applying “ASCII Armor ? PGP Key requirements:-•    Self-Signed •    Algorithm: DSA and Elgamal i.    o DSA keypair will have 1024 bits (minimum). ii.    o ELG-E keys 2048 bits. (minimum). •    Key Expiry: Optional key expiry. IFS Cloud - Use a user other than 'ifs' to install Middletier

Hi,Can we use a user than ‘ifs’ user to install IFS middletier in middletier server in IFS Cloud 23R2.Customer requirement is to use domain user and not local ifs user to do the installation.In the remote-scripts its hardcoded to use /home/ifs. Will it work if I change those values to the home of user I have provided in main_config.json file?Regards,Sahil Gupta

Is it possible to surpress the microsoft message when starting IFS Enterprise Explorer?

Everyone of us knows this message from starting the IFS Enterprise ExplorerIs there any way to surpress this standard Microsoft message? One way of the customer is to already have the .application file on the computer. Are there any issues when using the same .application file? Only specific values seem to change like seen in this picture. Most of them I would not consider relevant for functionality. Kind regards,Tobias

IFS Standard projection ConfirmPurchaseOrderWithDifferences.svc

Hi,Has someone tried to use IFS standard projection ConfirmPurchaseOrderWithDifferences.svc in APP10 ? I try to use the standard projection call to confirm the purchase order with a different promised delivery date, but I have following issue.  (via postman)# Request#Response You can see, the promised delivery date is updated in the response.But, it is not updated in the client. It’s very strange to me. Can someone please help me here  ? (fyi, customer environment is app10, Update 14 )Thanks in advance,Teeni.

how to do SQL Month and Year

Automate printing of Purchase Requisition pdf

Is it possible to automate the printing process of a Purchase Requisition? Or at least the creation of the pdf? I can capture the output in the debug window when I select RMB-”Print Requisition”  on the Requisition screen but there is too much code in the output, I can’t find the block that creates the pdf. I can do it for a Purchase Order but I want to do it for the requisition.

Standard solution to download ECB rates

Dear IFS Community,  Currently we have an inhouse developed solution for download from ECB webpage and upload to our IFS the daily European Central Bank currency rates. We are looking for an other more robust and fail proof solution for that. How to remove a language from the list of Used Languages on the Build place

Hi all,We can add a language to the list of Used Languages and proceed with Sanity Build, Order Delivery, and installation at the Use place. My question is how to remove a language from Used Languages of Build place? Is there any way to remove a language from IFS Cloud? Thanks!  Best regards,Feng

IFS8 Connect Inbound sometimes can't import csv files

In my client with IFS8, we tried to put the same csv file for 2 times.Even though, it’s completely same csv file we didn’t edit anything at all at that time,we had error and success. First try was Failed in Application Message with Illegal ExceptionSecond time was success to import csv file to run. Is there anyone who had same situation in IFS Connect Inbound before ?

Questions about password management in IFS Cloud.

Hi,The customer uses IFS IAM to connect to his application.He would like to know the answer about the following questions:- Is it possible to define a frequency at which users must change their password?- Possibility to control that the new password is not the same than the previous ones when it’s changed- What is the default number of times the user can try to connect before the account is lockedIs it possible to change the default values of these parameters through the application or it is something that has to be done by the cloud team ?These questions are important for the customer, as they concern the security of his solution.Thank youFabrice

Add possibility to copy referenced field value from Aurena

Dear IFS users, In Aurena, it is not possible to copy the value of a field which is a reference to another entity.You can try from Customer Order page to select the Customer. It is working correctly from a list in table mode. For your information, we’re currently in the process to upgrade from IFS 8 EE to IFS Cloud and copy values is a must have for our users. Regards

Unable to add field Reference No (JT Task Entity) into mobile screens

The customer is trying to add the code field Reference No from Entity JT Task into a mobile screen. Currently the customer has already add multiple custom fields from JtTask into the target mobile screen, but for some reason the core field ReferenceNo is just not available in the drop down. - Open Solution Manager / Mobile Apps / Configuration / Apps for Page Designer.- Find page Service Engineer / My Work.- Click on a work task and button "..." / My Work Detail Page to take it to the Work Details Page.- Click on Page Designer to start changing that page.- Click on Contents / Task Information.- Scroll down to "Task Information Group".- Click on Contents + button to try to add Reference No.- Observe that Reference No is not in the drop down as it should. The entity is JTTask and it seems that all JtTask fields are available in the drop down except for Reference No.

Unable to click SSL passthrough option on reconfig

Hi When we click SSL pass through it dosent load the options. It works for SSL proxy, SSL Offloading and no load balancer. It seems to be a bug. Has anyone else had this issue? Version: Apps: 10, UPD17  thanks Gary

Global Company Lobbies

I created a lobby for our Accounts Receivable team to show customers balance and past due amounts. The list is drillable so they can go right to the customer invoices. The issue that I’m having is that you can change the company in the lobby, but when you drill into the table it goes to the global company and not the company selected in the lobby. Is there any way to have it drill to the correct company?

TCP vs. TCPS Protocol for JDBC Database Connection

I know that the JDBC database connection can be changed in the MWS Admin console to switch ro another database. So, it follows that we could change the protocol from TCP to TCPS.The question is: Since TCP is automatically placed in the database connection string, will IFS support the TCPS protocol, or is that configured somewhere in the Oracle database?
