Error on Customer Order- Unable to cast object of type 'Ifs.Application.Order..

Just a quick tip if anyone faces the same issue in future: After applying Slovak Localization Release we started getting below error message on Customer Order screen as well as while RMB The problem occurred because the new IFS release has changed the name of the form from ‘frmCustomerOrder’ to ‘frmCustomerORder_Ext’. So, after updating the name of the form in the EDI interface all working fine.

Translate standard IFS report to Chines

When printing a standard IFS report in the language chines (zh) the labels in the report appears as set of boxes. Language files and the translations files are re-imported but still the it display as boxes. When login in chines the application terms translates to chines without any issue. Is there any specific setting I’m missing that required to run a standard IFS report in Chines? For example when trying to print a IFS report in chines (zh) the report displays as follows:

Cloud 22.2.3 newly deployed pages are not showing in Navigator

Since updating from Cloud 22.2.2 to 22.2.3, I’m seeing that newly created pages are not automatically showing in the Navigator. I had no issues in 22.2.2.Steps to reproduce: In IFS Developer Studio, create a new Entity, Client, and Projection for a new custom page.In the Navigator Entries of the Client file, create a new entry putting the new custom page under an existing parent.Deploy the new Entity, Client, and Projection.Notice that the new custom page is not showing in the Navigator and in the Projection Summary/Pages, it has the “In Navigator” option set to “No”. If I check the Navigator Designer for my existing parent, I can see my new custom page is available, it’s just not showing when I close the Navigator Designer.I know that I can add the page manually by toggling the Hidden property, but this isn’t a viable solution when the deployment is delivered to an instance that I don’t have access to.Anybody else seeing this issue? Any ideas on what may be causing the issue and

Impact of changing Database name in IFS APP10 Application

As per customer requirement, they need Stage application DB name to be change from EXXXXXX_NEW to EXXXXXX. Is there any impact of this change on the application. Is there anything we need to configure or re-configure after updating the DB Name?

Projection - Custom Action - Not showing parameters

Hello Everyone,I have added many custom actions to projections without any problem. However, I have this one now that will not populate the parameters that are in the PLSQL. What is really weird is that in the API Explorer it recognizes the parameters. Has anyone seeing something like this and know how to resolve this?I am getting this when I try to call the REST Service as labeled in the API Explorer, passing the parameter, and I can only think it is because the parameter isn’t showing up in the Projection. SSLHandshakeException on Middleware - Apps10

Earlier today we had a windows defender firewall issue on our test Oracle database server. Updating SSL Certificate - Chrome Extension and Scan It Issue

Hi Last night we updated our SSL certificate as the old one was due to expire. Today, none of the IFS Scan It apps will connect on our Android devices.We have tried everything we can think of and nothing works.If we open Chrome on the Androids it will log in to browser version of IFS with no issues. As a separate but linked issue, since the SSL was updated, when users go to print, they get dozens of random 1 character printers, which actually all spell out an error message saying: Security Error: Requests from ifs-cloud…… are not trusted – certificate mismatching. Please install the Aurena Agent again for this server. The only fix we have found is to disable the chrome extension and re-enable it on each computer. Surely this can’t be the fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

We have noticed that the links in the header part of screens have stopped working, e.g. on a Customer Order we are unable to ‘zoom’ to the customer record without RMB and opening in a new tab.This affects 23.1 and 22.2.6 and later.Has anyone else noticed and has anyone found a fix?

IFS 9 Duplicate custom page windows with few details and refresh

Hello,we created a new custom page with a lot of custom fields.Everything is fine, but users want to duplicate custom page window, but with only few details.We don’t want to duplicate all details, because in few fields we have autoincerement ID, date of creation field, etc.We want to use custom menu function and write an PLSQL query to copy only few fields to new row in table, but after copying we want to transfer to window with new created row on this custom page window.Is it possible to do it with custom menu PLSQL query?Thank you in advance for any ideas.

Not able to import IFS OVA file to GCP for remote

Dear Expert,We are facing issue while trying to Import the OVA file which we downloaded from Life cycle portal for version 22R2 , reported below error by our GCP cloud team when they were trying to import on GCP Cloud , Any help would be appreciated. below error was reported by Google cloud support team. 1. Page Configuration rebase not showing Rebase Pane

In our project we have many page configurations, with several different contexts for the same page. Sometimes one of the contexts shows that it is “Behind” but when Open Designer is clicked the page does not show the Rebase Pane.What could be the reason for this?Note that we also have configurations to the global context, and that one has been set to rebased so it shows up to date. The other contexts should show their status based on the modified “global” context is my understanding.See screenshots.

Custom Field - Retrieve Customer Order number and place in Purchase Order

Hello, I’m quite new using IFS Applications, and I wanted to put a custom field at Purchase Order with the Sales Order (which originated the PO). I was able to create a custom field retrievind the Tree_id from the view SUPPLY_ORDER_ANALYSIS and was trying to create anoter custom field usind the customized field above in order to retrives the sales order number, but it’s not working. The code to retrieve the Tree_ID:select Tree_id from SUPPLY_ORDER_ANALYSIS where Order_Ref1 = :ORDER_NO The field at my Purchase Order screen: The code to retrieve de Sales Order number (not working):select Order_Ref1 from SUPPLY_ORDER_ANALYSIS where Tree_id = :CF$_TREE_ID and Node = '0' When I try to synchronize the below error appear (Error: ORA-01403: No Data Found) Anyone know how to workaround this? IFS Apps10 installer stuck

Dear Community, We encounter an issue during the IFS Installation in our upgrade project:We are upgrading from IFS 8 to 10 following steps are followed for the upgrade.- Take backup of PROD (Oracle 11g)- Import this export to the new App10 DB (Oracle 19c)- Complete the DB upgrade and fix any SYS invalids.- Run IFS Upgrade on the upgraded DB.The issue is:The process gets hanged on the step 'Component DOP is ready'. A SELECT Statement as per the screenshot attached keeps on running for more than 15hrs and after this is complete, installer does not continue beyond this point.There are no error logs created as well. If you have any fresh ideas what we can investigate that would be really appreciate it. Thank you very much for any ideas or thoughts! Operators (+/-) in date fields available in IFS Cloud?

Is it possible to add a duration to the date in date fields? For example, for the "Wanted Delivery Date" in the customer order: "TODAY" + 1 month or "TODAY" + 20 days.Comparable logics are also helpful. Many thanks in advance and best regardsRolf

Is there any posibility to mark all the server alert logs in once?

In window Server Alert Log there are many logs that weren't deleted by Server Log Cleanup task. Logs weren't deleted because they hadn't been marked as Checked. When user manually marks the log as Checked, the Cleanup task delete this log, but in the environment there are more than 12 millon of logs, so there is no possibility to mark manually all of them. So, is there any possibility to delete these logs and verify if there is any possibility to delete logs automatically without marking them manually as Checked? Server Alert Logs Categories

IFS9 Proxy

Hello,Can some one suggest setup of Proxy for IFS 9 IEE.the proxy parameter in configuration seems to be only for Webclient.getting following error when we are using it. the environment is hosted on azureBelow is a summary of the errors, details of these errors are listed later in the log. * Activation of C:\Users\XXX\Desktop\Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application resulted in exception. Following failure messages were detected: + The Deployment Provider specified in the manifest cannot be reached. Maybe due to network error and/or the deployment provider is not responding correctly.
