We have two IFS Cloud installations (one 23R2 and one 24R1) for which we have VPN tunnels to access the databases in UsePlace. When up and running it works fine, but the tunnels goes down seemingly intermittently. They do not go down at the same time, one can be working when the other one is down and vice versa. When we re-initialise the tunnel it goes online again without a problem. We have not been able to find any solid proof in why it goes down, but it seems that it might have to do with in-activity and that they don’t re-initialise automatically as expected. But we also have some instances where we believe that the tunnel goes down closely after we have used it.
We have had support cases to IFS support and made some changes to the VPN configuration, but we still experience problems.
Anyone else who has experienced problems with this type of VPN tunnel? Any tips and trix on how to solve this is much appreciated!
