Hello, I am inserting a pdf attachment to Customer Order through an integration. But when I try to download the the pdf document, it gives me the following error. When opening the document from the database, blob value is opened as a text and not as a pdf. Does anyone has any idea what could be issue here?

Hi All, We are currently on 24R1 SU5 and SU6 will be available before 24R2 Release Update.I assume we can directly get 24R2 without getting latest Service Update.Is this the correct practice or do we need to get latest Service Update first before getting 24R2 Release Update which will be available on 28th of November 2024.

ExecutionException from Sender thread Caused by: ifs.fnd.connect.senders.ConnectSender$TemporaryFailureException: Exception while sending data Caused by: ifs.fnd.base.SystemException: Post error: 302 (Moved Temporarily) Intermediate certificates and other configurations work properly. What is the community opinion about the query option done when wanting the objversion of a object? If I make a query like this “SELECT vendor_no, vendor_name, objversion FROM suppllier” I get this result If I on the other hand query like this “SELECT vendor_no, vendor_name, objversion as df FROM suppllier” I get this result Is this a user friendly behaviour? I think rather than implementing limitations use the time and effort to implement missing IEE behaviour to the Aurena client

Hey everyone, Has anyone else noticed any weird stuff with the Analogue gauge when one tries to choose the option “Show As Percent”? I’m trying to visualize Closed Shop Orders divided by Planned Shop Orders, so this value is between 0 and 1. I’m looking to add a condition on the customer order line discount : When validation, I need to check the discount type then the discount % and Amt/ Then do some calculation based on customer loyalty program then authorize a certain amount or %. I’m not able to identify the correct way to deploy the bpa. I have added a new line to generate an error to detect the correct projection : The error was generated when making a post on customerOrderLineDiscountHandling.svc/CustOrderLineDiscountSet(Objkey='ACA0D85ED1304D0FA3399E6087493821')/CustOrderLineDiscountArray The payload is the following : I made a user validation workflow to just read those data for the moment I have activated the workflow with debug enabled When visiting the page OrderLine Discount, before making any thing I get an error. Cloud 23.1.1 I have a logo image that displays in IFS as having an off-white background but the background of the image source is pure white. It displays correctly in Crystal Reports. The image source is jpg and is of correct resolution to not degrade nor cause performance issues with Crystal Reports engine. It may seem trivial, but the documents is printed 1,000 of times per week and looks unprofessional. Furthermore, if users print the document, it increases consumption of print consumables. Has anyone else experienced this issue and is aware of a workaround or resolution?

My need is to read a file from an FTP folder. The file has always he same prefix. When a new file is detected in the folder i kneed to initaited a data migration job automaticly without schedulming the datamigration job every X minutes Is that possible please? if so, may i have some guidance? Trying to get a Crystal Reports server working for a cloud upgrade. IFS is showing error Error in retrieving the parameters I also can’t change the logging values for Crystal Reports from IFS If I try to save a change I get com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.SOAPExceptionImpl: Message send failed I have tried changing the crystal server address in system config to the IP address and that changed the error when trying to enable logs to: Return value to config logs not found. Hi all, In IFS10 UPD4 I have developed an automated process to take an authorised Purchase Requisition, convert it to a Purchase Order, release it and then email the requisitioner with the order details. I would like to attach a PDF copy of the PO (or send one from another Event Action) but have not managed to figure out how to do it. I have an Event configured against the PURCHASE_ORDER_TAB table that triggers when the PO is Released and then an Event Action E-mail to inform the requisitioner, but there are no Event linked attachments available to attach. Does anyone know how to code the printing and emailing functionality? Thanks in advance, Ged Pierce.

Dear community, We have recently upgraded to IFS Cloud, and have found that every operational report that is landscape, i.e. the Arrival Report, when printed to a local printer, i.e. \\SERVER\PRINTER1, always prints in portrait, so the text is reduced to fit the report across the portrait page and there is a large space to the top and the bottom. When printing these reports using the Print Agent printer, the report prints landscape as expected. Has anyone experienced this and has found a fix for it? Many thanks, David.

Hi, We’ve recently began using Aurena in Apps10 for some departments, rather than EE, but we have an intermittent issue where users see this error when they log in sometimes. Database error occurred. Contact administrator. Url: …...main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/ClientNavigator.svc/LoadNavigatorMain(ScopeId='global') The navigator does not load at all, forcing users to log out and back in. We’ve raised a support case, but wondering if anyone has encountered this before? Regards,William

Hi, I am having issues with the Azure VPN connection to our IFS Cloud build place. I can connect successfully, but the DB host name resolution does not work. For example, we are given this DB host for our buildplace: myhost-dev2-db.build.ifs.cloud:1521/alepdb I cannot connect using this host name, and I can’t even ping that host. If I use the database’s IP (10.37.x.x), I can connect and query the DB normally. This is fine as a workaround, but the IP can change. Is there a DNS server that can be manually added to my Azure VPN profile? Thanks

Here is a question for all my fellow IFS Community members. The title kind of says it all but to expand a bit, I’m trying to troubleshoot some code running in the background of IFSAPP10 and, I would like to add some TRACE_SYS.Message lines. Traditionally, I have always been able to see the content of those lines using the Debug Console, but since this code does not run after the UI generates an event (like clicking a button) and rather gets executed in the background, I’m not sure where those TRACE_SYS.Message lines will appear. Is there a place were I can see the content of any tracing I do an that scenario? Thanks!

Hi, Recently, I have updated our dev environment from 22R2 to 23R2SU6. However, since the Crystal report is required SSL communication. I found an error (from kibana log) when I try to call a simple crystal report. The message is : "message": [ "CWPKI0823E: SSL HANDSHAKE FAILURE: A signer with SubjectDN [CN=ifs-cloud-rpt.MFADTH.local] was sent from the host [ifs-cloud-rpt.mfadth.local:443]. The signer might need to be added to local trust store [/opt/ifs/wlp/output/defaultServer/resources/security/key.p12], located in SSL configuration alias [defaultSSLConfig]. The extended error message from the SSL handshake exception is: [PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target]." Hi friends! I have some questions about Custom Events in IFS Cloud Under which credentials does IFS execute a SQL Custom Event Action in IFS Cloud? Is there any documentation on how to trace custom events? More specifically I want to know if a PLSQL fails, how can I see the ORA error (like for example a bug in the PLSQL Logic that normally would trigger some typical error such as ORA-00933 - “SQL Command Not Properly Ended”) When precisely a Custom Event was triggered (Something similar to the History Log bug for Custom Event Actions) Thanks!

We currently have IFS App10 UPD 15 MWS running on-prem on Windows 2016 servers. Our database is Oracle 12.2. Our client wants to migrate to their AWS Cloud. We are going to test this out with our development environment first as proof of concept. We will be moving a copy of the 12c database to Oracle 19c in the AWS cloud. IFS MWS will be created on a Windows 2016 server in the AWS cloud. We would like to know if anyone has done this already, and what issues were encountered and how they were solved.
