In Quick Report, how can I use calendar Date picker on invoice date. Sample : SELECT *FROM IFSAPP.INVOICE WHERE INVOICE_DATE >= 'STAR OF YEAR' AND INVOICE_DATE <= 'END OF YEAR'If I use SELECT *FROM IFSAPP.INVOICE WHERE INVOICE_DATE >= ‘&NVOICE_DATE’ then I have to type in date manually. Aurena agent, EnumeratePrinters

In IFS Cloud 23R1, we are working on an integration where we want to use the Aurena Agent’s capability to (somehow) get the installed printers from windows. And the standard print dialog does just that, although I cannot figure out how. If I use the same lov and entityset (LogicalPrinterSet for LogicalPrinter) in a custom dialog, only the logical printers registered in IFS appear. Is it possible to use the same Aurena Agent functionality outside the standard print dialog? There is a section in the “Arena agent” documentation about EnumeratePrinters, but it is not marked as tested OK. Trying to use it, there is no error but no result either (tried EnumeratePrinters into a text variable).

Hello,we have an environment on which in the instant invoice when we clic on reprint original all is working. But on another environment (we use separates environment with aurena framework version 22.1.9.) we get the message “ORA-20105: InvoiceNumberSeries.FIXEDLENGTH: For the invoice number to start with zeros, the fixed length must be greater than the number of positions in the next value in the invoice number series”.I think we do have a difference between the 2 environments but where ?Thank you for your help.Frédéric

Appearance configuration - Prefix for browser tabs

Hello All, When working with IFS Cloud, it’s always the case that in the same browser I have multiple tabs of different environments open at the same time (CFG / UAT / TST / PROD).Do you know if it’s possible via Appearance Configuration to add a prefix in the Browser Tab so that from the overview you could tell each tab to which environment it belongs?I’ve looked at the different options that are available but I wasn’t able to find what I was looking for.This is what I would have in mind:

Restarting print job due to rendering container failure

None of the operational reports are working in one of my customer’s user place environments. They are on IFS Cloud 21R2 SU10. On premise customer. They have many other environments but the issue surfaced only in one of the environments. I would really appreciate it if you can give me some pointers to debug this issue.Here are the things I have checked so far. Verify Message Queue and Report Messages Queues are setup properly. Database task schedule actions do not trigger custom events?

Hello, I currently have a scenario where I have a custom event that triggers upon the insert or update of a row in the REMINDER_PROPOSAL_TAB in IFS Cloud. This works completely fine when creating a reminder proposal, but when creating a reminder proposal the same way, and selecting ‘schedule’ this does not trigger the event action, even though nothing else has changed. Anyone have any idea on why this is the case? I can confirm its not hitting the custom event or the event action, since I left errors in the workflow that the event action is referencing.Thanks,Bryan

Can I increase the field length of an IFS object table?

Can I increase the field length of an IFS object table, specifically the field in the Scrapping_Cause_Tab, “REJECT_MESSSAGE”? Its length is 35 and we want to increase the field length to 100. Will this cause any issues? Please let me know if there are any options?Thank you,

Users getting kicked out of IFS with error "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host"

Hi All, We are having an issue in our IFS environment, Multiple users are randomly getting kicked out of IFS with error “An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host". The users get this error at different screen, when logging in, when navigating to screen and at random places. We are on Apps10 upd18 deployed in IFS managed cloud. Has anyone experienced this issue and was able to resolve it?

IFS Cloud - Custom Event Action REST Call not sending Query Parameters

Hello, we are currently on IFS Cloud 23R1 and I am setting up a custom event to send data to a Rest API for further automation. I have my custom event and event action set up and I can fire the event successfully, but it appear that IFS is not sending the query parameters that I am asking for. Here’s my event action: On my REST API server, it receives the call to the endpoint, but there is no query parameter attached, and the server returns a 422 Unprocessable Entity: Here is a correct call to the same endpoint with a query parameter from Postman: The API correctly receives and processes the query param from Postman (by just displaying the data in the console. But it never receives any query parameters from IFS Rest call. Is my syntax wrong in my Event Action, or am i missing something else? Thanks!Matt

Scheduled jobs run manually have incorrect next execution date

Manual runs of database task schedules advances the next run date by 1, instead of the next day. My customer ran a scheduled job manually on 5/16, the application then reads that the next execution will be on 5/18. Why is the next execution not on 5/17?

Print reminders automatically

Hello,I’m attempting to automatically print reminders from acknowledged customer reminder proposals.I went through and created a workflow to call the projection CustomerReminderProposalsHandling.OrderReminderReportBatch(Company,ProposalId,ExecutionMode,PrintMode,ReminderDate,PaymentDeadline,PaymentsIncludedUntil,BatchPrintout,SortBy,RunInBackground,Print):Stringbut unfortunately, this completes without actually generating any reminders.Any idea why? Below is my projection action call, which I can confirm doesnt get stuck in an etag related error since the entry on the table ‘BPA_ASYNC_SYS_TAB’ shows that it gets set to ‘done’ not ‘in progress’. I cannot see the returned value for ‘OrderReminderReportBatch’ since this workflow is triggered via an async-timed event action, which doesnt generate an observation. One of the 23R2 updates supposedly adds this functionality to see aysnc-triggered workflows, but we arent in a position to update just yet.Any and all advise would be greatly appre

Quick Report "Notes" are not formatted as like I typed them when creating the report "Comments"

When creating a new Quick Report ( in IFS Cloud ), I enter comment lines in the “Comments” dialog. I space the comments to make them readable. I want these Comments to be viewed by the user when the users executes the Quick Report. But, when the user executes the Quick Report, the Comments ( called “Notes” when executing the report ) appear as one long text string. The spacing I used when entering the text is gone. Anyone know a way to keep the original spacing? ThanksRegardsMark

Delivery failure slows development after successful topic and sanity

I’m working on an upgrade from 23.1.3 to 23.2.5. If I have a problem with, say, the deploy.ini of a component, it doesn't get caught in the topic environment build or the sanity build, so I have to wait all the way until I attempt a delivery before it shows up. It takes a whole day to delete an environment, rebuild the topic environment, do the sanity build, and build the delivery. (I’ve resorted to skipping the topic environment build, but it doesn’t feel right.)Why are there these extra checks at the delivery stage that aren’t caught earlier? It seems to me that this defeats the purpose of the topic environment build and the sanity build. It doesn’t actually prove it’s sane.Can I recreate or simulate these extra checks to do better unit testing?Is there a faster way to develop?

All components activated ignoring the solutionset during remote deployment

Hello, we have an issue with an IFS Cloud 23R2SU5 remote deployment where all components are being activated even though the delivery has a solution set correctly in place. When we start the delivery installation, it says:INFO: Remote solution solution set file found and is added C:\ifsremote\ifsroot\deliveries\ifs-cloud-23.2.5-1.2.0\ifsinstaller\solutionset.yaml)which seems to imply that the installer finds the solutionset correctly, but once it has finished, we can see in the “Installed Components” page that every single IFS Cloud component is active. We have also created a build place environment out of this delivery, and in this environment only the components that are active in the solutionset are active in the Installed Components page.

Reference field on a custom page

Hello.On a custom page I made, I have a field which is defined as reference (to WORK_CENTER), but the users would like to use their keyboard to fill the field, instead of opening a screen to get access to a list of values, but they need to have the zoom function on this field.Is there a way to do that?I made a test via the IFS console, the zoom function on my custom page shows an sql query based on the OBJID value, but the zoom on the work center on a shop order operation uses both the WORK_CENTER_NO and the CONTRACT values…IFSAPP 10 / UPD 5

VPN Tunnel from Self Hosted BI to IFS Managed Cloud

Hello Everyone, I have created the necessary resources in a VNet in Azure for the Self Hosted BI infrastructure, and was wondering what details do we need to provide to IFS to setup the VPN tunnel between the Self Hosted BI Infrastructure and IFS Managed Cloud. Any thoughts or guidance?I also have another issue where I had used the whole default subnet for the resources, and therefore cannot create another subnet in the same range for the Gateway.Default Address Space: 10.0.0.0/24Default Subnet: 10.0.0.0/24Therefore I added another Address Space (10.2.0.0/24) and created the GatewaySubnet in that (10.2.0.0/27). Both of the above address spaces and subnets exists within one Virtual Network, Do I have to configure any routing?Thanks in Advance,Devin Amarasekara

Custom Tab with Custom Field - Cloud

I’m trying to display the Commission Receiver data from the Customer record on the Account record. The customer and account are the same DBs, just displayed on different pages for different purposes. I won’t list everything I have tried because none of them worked.One of my requirements is that the commission receiver and product code be displayed on the Account page. The Product Code is a custom field.Known Limitations - Technical Documentation For IFS Cloud - According to this document, custom fields are not supported.Is this something that is even possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Page Designer - New Group - Edit Fields

I’ve added a new group to the case details page to display custom fields. However, I can’t seem to edit the values of these custom fields in the group. If I put them in another group, they can be edited, OR… if I change the control type to be a markdown field, you can change the data, otherwise they appear to be read only. What is going on there?See below, the field, annual value cannot be edited in the new group called “Tender Requests”
