From time to time, the SHOP_MATERIAL_ALLOC_API ends up in invalid state during the DB deployment. It seems to be caused by the parallel deployment of files, and unfortunate circumstances. At the same time as this package is deployed, one of sources to view CTP_SUPPLY_DEMAND is also deployed from another thread, typically it is the Order or Invent threads. Note that view CTP_SUPPLY_DEMAND is included in SHOP_MATERIAL_ALLOC_API.We cannot find any solution inside the IFS Installer to fix this since the package seems to be stuck in a “limbo state”. Well, not the whole true. It looks like we have fixed the issue from the 22.1 release since the files will be deploy in a different order. Too bad, but this modification cannot be down ported (without a massive work involving all product groups).What to do if you run into this problem? Aurena Page Configurations - Command group with link.When we copy Prod to Test we need a way to update these links, possible to access these from db view and update link with script?

We have data files being written to a file folder on our network and we would like to automate the import process into a custom LU? Should we use IFS connect and setup a FILE_READER? How do you setup IFS to monitor the file folder and process any data files? Can the files be moved to another folder once the process is completed? Does the file have to be a specific format, csv/xml? I appreciate any ideas or thoughts about this.Thank you,

Why is Print Order Confirmation menu option greyed out? We have thousands of customers in setup in IFS but we have one customer that we can’t print order confirmations for any of their orders. The option is greyed out. What can cause this? How do we enable ‘Print Order Confirmation’? Thank you,We use APPS10 UPD11

I’m trying to send attachments via email events in v7.5, but not sure how to configure a wild card that has the timestamp of file generation. Any way to do this?. I.e file name would be MYFILE20220526123456.CSV, so somehow i need to put MYFILE%.CSV as attachment.

We are currently on IFS Apps10 UPD6.  When we originally implemented IFS at Apps8 SP1+, we made the decision to setup Document Management to be stored in the Oracle database. When we upgrade to Apps10, we moved our quote process into IFS.   With that and other changes, we are seeing significant DB growth, which is mainly due to the number of documents we are storing in Doc Man.  Feedback from our IT team is it’s taking noticeably longer to back up Oracle and to refresh our development environments from Production.   I’m starting to thing about moving our doc man repository out of Oracle.   Looking for guidance / words of wisdom / lessons learned Does anyone have experience to share moving document management out of the Oracle database Pros/Cons for the different doc man repository options? Do we lose functionality if we move out of Oracle? At what point would you consider an Oracle database to be “too big”?

Hi,  I have this problem trying to refer to a column in the tab in a readonly - select - Custom Field.I’m trying to add a Custom Field to GenLedVoucherRow LU. I want to refer to a column in the table, gen_led_voucher_row_tab that I know is there and I can query for it on the database.I refer to it in Arguments section in Create CF wizard as    t.COLUMN_NAMEThis should refer to the COLUMN_NAME in the underlying table. But it says there is no such column in the table.I’m wondering if they refer to gen_led_voucher_row_tab or gen_led_voucher_row_cft as the underlying table since it is clear that the column I want is not in the cft. Thanks in advance!

Hello,Is possible set up a lobby element to have more than one value for a lobby parameter in Apps10 IE.An example would be where a user wants to see shipping information for two Sites and wants to enter those sites in the Lobby Parameter.I think the answer is ‘No’ but I want to make sure.Thank you in advance

Hi,We have implemented SSO with IFS 10 (UPD13). Go live date was the 25th of April this year.Every time users want to login they click in an IFS shortcut in their desktop and then the Microsoft office pop up message appears asking them to pick up an account (please see screenshot below).Do you know if there is anyway to avoid this Microsoft pop up windows to appear, so that users get straight away into IFS?Many thanksMiguel   

Hi,I remember this parameter USER_DEFAULT_COORDINATOR was working fine when using it as default filter parameter for lobbies:  USER_DEFAULT_SITE is working fine. Any idea what might be the problem or did I use the wrong parameter to fetch the default coordinator?Default Coordinator in User per Site has been defined. Thanks!

The authentication to IFS should be handled via Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS). For this system, which had been prepared already for the usage Customer is now using ADFS authentication for the windows users. Some software, for example some handheld scanners or some other software need to use own IFS Clients developed by the customer to connect. And these need to use ADFS.Most of these are handled via java applications or via Postman. For testing purposes with Postman the customer has tried to receive an Access Token from ADFS which should be used to authenticate to the IFS system.Had been tested via OAuth2 Flows “Authorization Code” and “Resource Owner Password” as documented in the technical Docs.The parameter resource had been set as well with the value “api://PTY10”.You can see in the following picture that an error is displayed when the “Resource Owner Password Flow” is configured.

Hi All,Earlier we were unable to connect to the customer portal.server name is stal01 but config was set to stas01 for some reason and once we add this stas01 to DNS manager, we were able to connect to the IFS TAS customer portal successfully.But now we are having an issue when trying to login to the android device as below.What should we check to fix this issue.Kindly advice me.Thank you in advance.
