In IFS Cloud 21R2, there is insufficient information in page help for each screen comparing to the page help in IFS10 - the page description is missing and the links for tabs are not present. Good morning, Due to a security information certification, we forced the IFS theme to be different from TEST and PROD, for all users. In doing so, we need to prevent access to users from changing the theme themselves. Where can we limit access to not allow changing theme in Options box? Thanks in advance, Carlos Mendes

Hello, Can you suggest if client having heavy transactions should go with Database on Bare metal or VM on IFS10 or IFS Cloud. As per me Bare Metal is better as we will get direct access to the underlying hardware. It gives a dedicated physical server for Highest performance & strong isolation. Any suggestion from IFS. I have used IFS Developer Studio to create a new Component and Utility Model comprised of the following: .utility - two lines utilityname and component .plsql - layer plus procedures to update my tables .storage - layer plus table definitions .views files - layer plus view definitions files auto generated for the database I deployed everything and a new Logical Unit was created. The issue is that I’m seeing values for the dictionary_sys_lu.lu_prompt, dictionary_sys_lu.base_table, and dictionary_sys_lu.base_view that I’d like to change, but I don’t know where these are in my model. I didn’t specifically enter them anywhere before I deployed. Does anyone know where these three values are typically set in a Utility Model?

I am guessing a bit here but... The only print agent available on the Add-Ons page is the "IFS Print Agent Dot Net installation version." I think we need a 64 bit version, as we are seeing an error in the system logs when trying to start the service. It is raising an error with KERNALBASE.dll, in SYSTEM32 directory. Should there not be a 64 and 32 bit versions of the print agent? Or does the .NET version support both 32 and 64 bit printers? Hi All, I don’t know if anybody can help me. I am trying to add a custom field to my “EmpCareerPlan” logical unit as a Read only field as a reference to a COMPANY_PERSON_ALL where I need one field called Position title. I am struggling to change it as you can see is defaulting me to a method signature fields only. So I need to get reference path fields from COMPANY_PERSON_ALL where I know the “Position title” field exists. I hope this makes sense. Basically I would like to do when somebody chosen manually reviewer in their performance and development plan the other custom field populate manually with full name of position title (not just short version POS_CODE - SUP = Supervisor). Also the full position title can be taken from here: However this is only persistent field where user would need to do use LOV and they would have to know POS_CODE of reviewer first. Can someone please assist me with few questions on Scheduling Quick Reports: We have not yet Scheduled any report in IFS for IFS10 UPD9 with Oracle 19c I am in the process of scheduling an existing quick report on last day of every month. The Report take Year and Month as parameter, Will the following parameters work in Application Server Task window? The schedule looks like this: IF someone can help me schedule it at 11:30pm or any other desired time slot that will be a bonus. 2- Can I use following expression in ‘Application Server Task’ Subject, to get result as below:or anyway to achieve such subject line in Application Server Task/Scheduling Quick Reports. Hi, I’m having an issue with an event where it seems to not be able to access CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINE. Is there a certain account which needs access whilst going through an event action? Custom RMB: Works Fine However the event action doesn’t work... I’m assuming this is something permission related - but cannot seem to figure it out. IFSPRINT and IFSSYS have been granted select on CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINE. Thanks, Callum

Hi, Does anybody know if it is possible to make Show hidden result default in User profile? I want to have it as default in these views: Time registration, Time Card Week och Time Card Day. The result now is that the user needs to RMB and choose Show hidden result every time he/she has logged in, it doesn’t seem to be saved in the profile? We use IFS 9

Hi, In a system setting it is possible to set a default value for the checkbox case sentive for searchingoptions.But web interface does not follow this setting. Is there any other option to uncheck case sentive in webclient? thank you for any advice Joanna

Hi Guys, I am unable to import WorkTaskHandling API. I get an error message ‘Import partially complete’. I can see that the collection was not generated but 1 API was imported message is visible. But when i try to open the API, it is blank. I have experienced this error only for this particular API up until now. Any suggestions to get over this problem, i am enclosing screen shots for reference. Regards, Anil

We have a stopped Incoming Customer Order with the error message: ORA-20111: CustomerInfo.FND_RECORD_NOT_EXIST: The Customer Info does not exist. Being new to IFS, we are not sure how to find what information does not exist. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, Our customer has a requirement to remove/ modify some custom navigator nodes added to the navigator tree. Customer environments are currently at 21R2, and it is not possible to remove/ modify the custom nodes added to the navigator tree, receiving a client error (this is a bug and RnD informed that the fix will be only available with 22R1). As a workaround, our customer is questioning whether it is possible to reinitialize the navigator tree.Does anyone know whether this is possible? Thank you!

Hi! I try to add a bookmark in two different groups. Is this not possible? I added the bookmark in the first group and then when trying to add it to the second group it only moves from the first to the second group. Best regards, Tobias

Problem: In IFS Developer Studio, 'Static Code Analyzer.. ' option is not available for report changes, e.g. files with extension RDF.Even it does not validate or run during the code generation for report related changes. Isn't it required to have this option enable for report related files as well in IFS Developer Studio as it enable for remaining files, e.g. entity, client, etc. Recreated in core: Yes. Hi, We are running on IFS 9 and using report rules to send emails in order to have control of the the PDF file name. However, much of the time the rule fails with an error similar to: Rule ID=30 ORA-6502:ERROR Evaluating Expression=''[@CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP/BILL_ADDR_1]'' result_key=1499formatter_properties=LocaleCountryUS Upon further investigation, the rules are failing on larger sized documents (order lines can number into the hundreds of lines). I downloaded the report XML and see that the file contains no information other than the report translation information, which would explain the errors reported in the reporting rule log. The reporting rules work fine with smaller printouts where the report data is present in the XML. Are there any settings that control this behavior? Thank you. Best regards, Pakorn

Hi, Is there anyway in IFS to change the structure of the file name stored in the repository? Currently it appears to be “Doc Title (Doc Class - Doc No - Doc Sheet - Doc Revision) - Revision No” If we wanted for instance to remove some of the fields and replace them with additional ones, how is this possible using core IFS? Hi! Is there a way to only show the bookmarks in Aurena and hide the navigator? We have a number of users that we want to simplify the Aurena use and only show them Bookmarks to navigate with. I have tried to enter True in Disabled for Navigator and the same as below for Bookmarks but only when I choose to show navigator I can see the Bookmarks.

Good day. We are running APPS9 and encounter issues with the ifsapp locking. This occurs in 2 or our production environments. I have changed the password both through the login screen as well as through the db by altering username and setting a new password. Is there a log file which may show me if another user is trying to login using the account which may be why its locking. Or Is there a way to determine if there is a running process requiring username & password of the ifsapp account to run. We are not using SSO If you have other suggestions of where to look, I would be truly appreciative. Thank you
