Hi,Sometimes out of the blue, we get the Information Messages like below:We did not set any conditional fields on the screen Sales Part. This is not allowing us to update the records. Even though we log in as super users, one person gets this and the other person does not. We found similar information messages in Customer Order screen to. Is there a reason why the screens behave differently for the same users but on different devices? Can we make stop these information messages popping up? Thanks in Advance.

Hi Community I have created a Persistent custom field in the Entity Order_Quotation  → C_REPORT_CODE_QUO to enter a code which we want to use for some statistics in Aurena. I have created another custom field in the entity Customer order → C_REPORT_CODE_ORD. The idea is that the ..CODE_ORD Attribute should be recived the Information from the Attribut ..CODE_QUO when the Quotationen becomes an order.  i created an event which triggers the order creation to achive that but i am getting an mutating Error and the Attribut ..CODE_ORD is empty. DECLARE    info_         VARCHAR2(4000) := NULL;    attr_         VARCHAR2(4000);    attr_cf_    VARCHAR2(4000);  Cursor get is    select objid, ifsapp.ORDER_QUOTATION_CFP.Get_Cf$_C_REPORT_CODE(CUSTOMER_ORDER_CFP.Get_objkey(QUOTATION_NO)) tmp from CUSTOMER_ORDER   WHERE QUOTATION_NO = '&NEW:QUOTATION_NO';BEGINFOR rec_ in get LOOP      Client_SYS.Clear_Attr(attr_);     Client_SYS.Clear_Attr(attr_cf_);     Client_SYS.Add_To_Attr('CF$_C_REPORT_CODE',

Hi all,I explained the question at the Title. You can find the pictures for differences between IFS V9 and IFS V10.I need to match this things at v9 but the “Task Templates” doesn’t exist in the IFS Setup Connection page.Best regards.

Hi,I have set of crystal reports and granted the report projection to a permission set. Then attached the permission set to the end user. But when trying to preview the report login from end user it gives below error, The <User> does not have necessary privileges' to run the report. But when I publish the report i can execute it without any problems. It looks like the report is not granted to a specific user. How can i grant this report successfully? is there anything more to do? The report contains only core views and no ial’s are there too. The customer is in cloud 21R2. ThanksRoshanga

Hello all,I have edited the customer invoice and the additional invoice documents and have now included a media file in the additional invoice documents which has generated the swiss QR code. After this customization, both documents suddenly appear twice in the print dialog, but contain the same information.Does anyone have any idea how this could have happened? Regards,Lena

Hi good afternoon,  i have this question , How can i perform the insert, update and delete on the Object Property Page , because the plus was Disable. Thanks for the Help.Regards.

Customer is currently on 21R2 and we have some questions regarding history logging. How do we turn on history logging on configured fields? On the CFT table? i can’t seem to find it in the History Log Configuration The Import/Export functionlity, can you only export per table? or is there a way to export all configurations you have done on all LUs at the same time? Is there a way to setup history logging on the actual history logging setup? So it can be tracked who turned on/off history logging for a certain table.

Community, wondering whether IFS do have BIZAPI or RESTAPI available for below itemsBill of Material Shop Orders Part DetailsWe need to send to an external interface from IFS.Thank you.

I am looking for a list of the pages per projection for an entire client install.  Does anyone know a way to get that information?I know I can go to the page and use the debug console to get them one by one, but that would be too time consuming.  Looking for a quicker way to generate the list. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Greetings, IFS Community. In order to determine a problem with one of my Middleware servers, I need your assistance with the following information. If you are running IFS 9 and Pagero and your Pagero and IFS connect are functioning correctly.Would you please let me know what is the UPD IFS9 version you are running? Can you tell me what Java version your MiddleWare server is running? The Pagero documentation does not provide either of these two pieces of information to help to determinate software spec before. Please note that my question pertains only to IFS9. Thank you.JL

Postman is popular as a REST client but it works really well with SOAP requests as well and can be used to test IFS Web Services/BizApi requests.Hope following guide will help if anyone is interest in using Postman as a SOAP client for IFS integrations.Postman can be freely download from here.Following steps show how to make SOAP requests using Postman:1. Create a new RequestGive the SOAP endpoint as the request URLApps 10: https://<APP_SERVER_URL>:<PORT>/int/soapgateway Previous IFS versions: http(s)://<APP_SERVER_URL>:<PORT>/fndext/soapgatewaySet the request method to POST. 2.Set Auth HeaderGo to the Auth Tab,Select Type as Basic AuthType IFS username and password to be used for the integration 3.Set SOAPAction HeaderNext step to add the SOAPActin header, which is required by IFS SOAP Gateway to identify incoming message as a SOAP requestKey = SOAPAction Value =Synchronous:urn:soap_access_provider:<BizAPI_Name>orurn:soap_access_provider:<Handler_Name&

Hi,On IFS10 SSO configuration what to check how Ad authentication page will come before landing page on Azure. I guess its taken care by SAML configuration. Please suggest

When calling a IFS REST-API with an incorrect formed JSON Payload, for example calling an attribute that is specified to allow a value with 5 characters and the value is sent with 10 characters or when when calling with wrong attribute name, you will get HTTP 500  Internal Server Error.Shouldn’t the error be a HTTP 400 Bad Request? Since the request is malformed (incorrect attribute length or name). According to the standards for REST-APIs it should raise HTTP 400 or isn’t this type of errorneus request a request that should raise HTTP 400?How can we distinguish a malformed request (as above) from a data error (an error raised from business logic) when both issues are raised as HTTP 500 Internal Server Error?

Community, currently our system when manually printing reports, it will be routed to Print Manager window, but i read some document, all mention to get the printed document in Report Archive. May I know why it is the difference?

HI, Document approvals in Aurena which displays the documents that are to be approved by a person .The user is now clicking on the three dots to go to either approve or reject. I need a small custom field or button on this Approval window where I can click on that a custom page will open and show the details of corresponding transactions ,For example, if it is a customer order , then give total order value net , margin percent and payment terms, rest I will add it.In case of object is business opportunity it should display the opportunity value and salesman.Wondering if this is possible.

Where on the website can you find the description of the components?

I know that Enterprise Application Search is no longer in Aurena and IFS Cloud. Is it in the road map to reintroduce something similar in IFS Cloud?

I found problem in prepared data for CZ company ATCZECH – default currency is set to USD. And there is no way to change it.Same problem is in ATSLOVAKIA where not existent currency SKK is. Because is not possible to edit that, I cannot change settings via our test data scripts.

Is there possibility to provide process of cloning databases from one environment to another (for example from PROD to TEST) in App 10 together with best practices and things we should avoid. Perhaps IFS Managed cloud team have good experience and documentation on how they handle this for managed cloud customers and can share them so whole community will be supported?

Hi,What would be the best way to fetch data from a custom database View through a REST endpoint? So far our best approach is to create a QuickReport that fetches data from the DB View and call this trough the QuickReport projection endpoint. But we are wondering if there is another/better way. We also experimented a bit with custom actions on a new projection, but no luck. Regards Jeppe

When and under what circumstances does IFSAPP user expire ? It have it expired under one environment, and it is the first time when we’re in this situation.  Many thanks, paul.

Hello Everyone, As I understand, the only way to be able to get a view like REST endpoint is creating a Quick Report .  This can then be called through the QuickReports.svc endpoint.   This has been working for us but sporadically the quick reports will disappear from the API Explorer Function list.  I usually employ the highly intelligent solution of randomly clicking buttons, documenting what I do, to try to get them to show back up in the list.  My first attempt is to always Refresh the Dictionary and Report Server Cache.  Unfortunately, as expected, I don’t have any real solid evidence as to what gets them back in the  list.   Maybe this may help someone but this is the error that is returned when a QuckReport is not accesible:RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND Message: Cannot find EntitySet, Singleton, ActionImport or FunctionImport with name 'QuickReport_147084’ These Quick Reports haven’t changed in a long time.  Does anyone else have this type of experience with them? Does anyone know how they
