Middle Tier server prepare

Hello everyone, I am new to IFS Cloud and preparing IFS Cloud installation. Middle Tier server is linux box with Kubernetes. We are in confusion how exactly the Middle Tier server to be created and setup. Is OVA file template to be restore from vSphere and can be run from Management server ?Or Linux box server to be created from cloud and restore OVA template into to it ? Pl guide us to setup Middle Tier server

SSO with ADFS - Error 401 Unauthorized from Application Server

Hello,Currently in our environment we are trying to enable SSO with ADFS. We’re able to login to IFS using AD credentials if we manually input them, but if you select “Sign in as current user” it will prompt to enter credentials, and then returns error 400. Notes area for Customers and Suppliers

Hello, most ERP systems have a notes area where the user name and date stamp is auto populated. I'm familiar with the yellow sticky notes but the fact anyone can delete them and you have to click thru to see multiple is not effective. I’m wondering if there is another tab or functionality maybe my company is not using?

Performance Issues in Apps7.5

Our customer is experiencing a variety of issues:bad performance in supplier for purchase - all relevant transaction lines are not being displayed, however, if the user clicks on refresh all the lines are then displayed when deleting operation line(s) it is taking a while before the user can continueThis issue is affecting a vast number of users.Has anyone come across this type of issue before?  and, how did you resolve it. Any advice as to what could be causing this issue along with ideas for resolving the issues would be much appreciated.

input value for date field in custom events

Hi All, i am trying to get date field in below format while using in events act_finish_        DATE := '&NEW:ACTUAL_FINISH'; which is throwing error “literal doesnt match format string”it works fine when i hardcode the values in below formatactual_finish_     DATE := TRUNC(TO_DATE('25-OCT-23'), 'DDD'); can anyone suggest how can i make this work or any documentation related to which format is preferable while accepting the input for dates? Regards,Rakesh

IFS PROD Down; Others also experience this?

Today morning we raised a High Priority ticket since we are unable to access the PROD environment.Linking to <Server Address> is currently not possible. Server is not responding. Probable causes: * Your computer is not connected to the network. * Server is not running or is not connected to the network. * Application server not started. Contact your system administrator if this problem persists.A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not reply correctly after a certain time, or the connection made failed because the connected host did not reply <IP Address and the Port> IFS Cloud Supported mentioned the below.We are currently experiencing an Azure regional issue and we are working with the vendor to restore the services as soon as possible. same issue has been reported for multiple customers in the West Europe region.Can others verify this?

LoV not populating after clearing the existing value

Hi All,I have created an LOV field in an assistant. After a value is selected once, when I try to change it, even if the existing value is cleared, the LOV only shows the earlier selected value and does not populate rest of the values for the field. Below is a screenshot of what I encountered.  Is there anyway to fix this?

Migration Job help to auto update status on Purchase Order Line

Dear IFS Community,I've made a migration job to Purchase Order Lines that automatically updates the status to "Confirmed" on PURCHASE_ORDER_LINE_PART when a new line is added or modified. This is working perfectly and the status is changed to Confirmed when I execute all lines or a single line.However, I have encountered an issue when including columns from the PO header. These need to be maintained through the same migration job as well. Despite including them in the migration job, I am unable to automatically update the status on all lines after adding the header. The status can only be updated by executing each line individually. Quick report log

Hi, We are running IFS 10 upd14 and we have the history log for quick reports activated.Unforturnately reports are only registered in the log when running them in the client.Many users run the reports directly to excel without first  presenting data in the client, is there a way to get these run also included in quick report log?

Edit lobbies in Aurena for Apps10

Is it possible to edit lobbies in Aurena for Apps10?Lobbies are editable in IEE, but user would like to edit in Aurena. Documentation I’ve found shows how to setup access in IEE, or how to edit in Aurena Cloud, but I can’t find anything specific for Aurena prior to cloud.

Project Picking when Part is on a Frozen Stock Count

We’ve noticed the following scenario. (IFS APPS 9) Part A exists as Project Miscellaneous Demand on an Activity, Qty 1. A Count Report is subsequently created for Part A, and the count is frozen. (10 in stock - TOTAL) Part A on the activity is subsequently reserved, and a project pick list is created. The picker picks 1. The stock checker now goes to count the part, and counts 9. Once the count is unfrozen, the 1 on the activity is issued and the QOH goes down to 8.  Result - we’ve written 1off incorrectly.   Other than manual controls, is there any way in IFS to improve this process? TIA. Chris.

Garbled Japanese Field Descriptions

Our partner reported that their customer encountered the problem with Japanese field descriptions in Apps10 UPD10. According to them, garbled texts are displayed for all. They applied the latest JA trs files, but the issue is still there.  What is the cause?I’m attaching their screenshot, regarding a lobby page, not only that page but any other pages.

Default Print Layout and e-mail integration broken with update 14 patches

Hi everyone, We have an issue after moving from Apps 10 Update 11 to Apps 10 Update 15.. When printing a customer invoice, our report layout selection has changed. We also send e-mail copies to customers and an internal distribution group using the Report Rules.Has anyone experienced something similar when deploying new updates? Any suggestions on where the report layout selection from the customer Invoice RMB to print or re-print invoice is appreciated

Creating a read only attribute in a custom logical unit
