we have many configuration on IFS10 EE, we plan to use Aurena, how to migrate the configurations?

can the IEE permission sets be reused for Aurena? if can’t, is it possible to do batch update or need recreate one by one?

Hi, there is separate permissions for Aurena, called Projections. You will find them in Solution Manager. So you cannot reuse IEE Permission sets. You have to create new permission sets for Aurena or grant projections in the existing ones

note for permission set, thanks!

how about configuration(pages/fields/events...)? can batch migrate for Aurena?

The migration of configurations from IEE to Aurena depends on the type of configuration. You can find more info on the different types in the technical documentation:

https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/Foundation1/045_administration_aurena/220_Configuration/525_configuration_upgrade_path/

Hi Roel,

from the link, I don’t know which ones can do batch migration, could you please help advise?

for example, in IEE, we have ‘shop order’ page, we added 10+ fields in the page, how to batch make them show in Aurena?

IEE: red highlight are custom fields:

Aurena shop order page:

Custom Fields can not be migrated. You have to use page designer for new setup in Aurena

Hi Bijornar, is there any third tools or scripts can help do this? otherwise it will take more to add existing IEE fields for Aurena.

sorry, to my knowledge there does not exist any third party tools for this
