Is there a way to compare two different environments to determine differences in configuration?For instance, compare a UAT or TST environment to the current PROD environment.Could the Update Analyzer or Configuration Manager be used for this?

Hi All!We are planning to upgrade customer environment from IFSAPP9 to IFS Cloud version.Also, we have made some modifications - the new forms were created.And customer would like to save these modifications on new IFS version.Is there any tool to facilitate the execution of an upgrade task, meaning converting existing IEE form code to Aurena page code?Maybe some kind of code parsing/refactoring/converting tool?Does anybody have such issue in customer project?Thanks in advance!Best regards,EPSDANMI

In our IFS10 Test environment, I was trying to run a sql statement report, as long as it took more than 53 seconds to finish, the system will popup the following Gateway error.  But I never had problem with the same report in IFS9.  Could someone give me some suggestions?thanks,David Cheng 

I’m working though a middleware clustering proof of concept in a development environment using IFS 10. I’m following the instructions here: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/Foundation1/020_installation/020_installing_fresh_system/040_installing_ifs_applications/030_deploy_middle_tier/hidden_itd/200_configure_cluster_nodes.htm?nobanner=trueI’m down to step 5 under the heading Extending the Cluster. When I run ./cluster.sh in the folder <ifs_home>/instance/<instance>/bin I enter create, y, and the password. The script runs for a moment and then says: Warning: Could not find file <ifs_home>/ifsdoc/doc_node.conf to copy.Which is entirely reasonable since the cluster.zip file doesn’t include an ifsdoc folder when I extracted it into the <ifs_home> directory. Has anyone else successfully clustered IFS 10 middleware and have any insight into what I’m doing wrong?

Hi!We’re running IFS Cloud 23R1 in a Remote Deployment Setup. Therefore we have our own Kubernetes deployment running without using microk8s included in the IFS Cloud installer.As far as we know the supported Kubernetes version of IFS Cloud 23R1 is 1.24. Is there any documentation where we can find a roadmap which IFS Cloud version supports/needs which Kubernetes version?Thanks in advance!Tobias

Is anyone running Apps 9 application & database on windows server 2022 please?

When upgrading from Apps9 to Apps10 are the information source refreshed?The reason for asking is, even though the overall balances are the same, we have 5 extra account balances (all zero) being displayed whereas in Apps9 these account balances did not appear in a report for the same year/period. n.b.  There were no transactions in the year/period for the 5 extra accounts and as such should not be appearing.Any ideas/advise would be much appreciated.

We have a couple files in our delivery with path names like this: UB1-MWS-2220UB\ifsroot\deliveries\InstallationFiles\manualdeploy\database\_utilities\pre\InvalidObjectList.sql I can’t find this file in customer-baseline or customer-solution. If I want to change this file, where would I put it in Git so it gets replaced in the delivery?

Hi, we are trying to upgrade  the IFS Cloud version from 22.2.8 to  23.1.2 though Release Update Studio.Followed all steps mentioned in documentation butOrder delivery step is failing even though sanity build step is successful.Attached is the log file.please suggest where it is failing. RegardsRaman

Hi All,I’m having one of those days where you ask 5 people the same question and you get 5 different answers back!I have IFS Cloud 21.1.6 ( Artefacts 2.3.1, Binaries 2.1.1 ) installed , I have 3 deliveries in the build place to apply:22.1.0 ( Artefacts 2.4.0, Binaries 2.2.0 ) 22.1.2 ( Artefacts 2.4.0, Binaries 2.2.0 )22.1.4 ( Artefacts 2.4.2, Binaries 2.2.1 )To make this question useful to all readers, I have 2 questions:What is the most efficient way to apply ALL 3 deliveries? I have a customer who has a page configuration that is showing as behind.  When I go to Page Designer the rebase icon shows, but when I go to work on it there are no changes showing for the baseline. I only see the custom attributes on the configuration side.  How do I get this page to be “up to date” with all the custom attributes no it? 

We run an updated from IFS10 UPD7 to UPD18 and get this error. Hello All -The company where I work will be upgrading from Apps 8 to Apps10 in a few months.  We are looking for best practices and approaches for the actual Go-Live weekend.  If you have gone through a major upgrade with IFS, we would like to hear about your go live experiences. 

We have setup templates for certain LUs as below I wanted to migrate these templates to another environment and make changes to the save templates. Seems like IFS does not allow this from the IFS screens. Is there anyway someone has already found to not only migrate these templates but also make changes?

Hello,I have created a notification type business rule, however on the “Notification Message” and on the  “Message From” I want to refer to a specific column in a table with the email address. eq like {{request_contact.email_address}}. If i do that its not sensing the email . Can someone help me on any way to do that?  

Does anyone know when re-certifications for 2023 will be avaliable in academy. It just states ‘comming soon’ which has been the case for the last couple of months.   

We are using Apps10 and have installed the log4j-core-2.8.2.jar.  Our security monitory software is now saying this version is vulnerable and should be updating to version 2.17.2. Is this update available from IFS?Thanks, Michelle

After upgrading form Apps 9 to Apps 10 a Business Reporter report for Chart of Accounts balances however displays additional accounts with null values in the Apps 10 report.All the values are the same along with the overall totals it. Has anyone else experienced this, if yes, how did you resolve the issue? Thank you.
