Is there somewhere that lists errors and gives a resolution to that error.
I’m a new user and I get an error pop up every now and then. IFS Cloud tells me I have an error but not how to fix it.

Hi @Macbaydn

Please check in below places.

  1. Navigate to Code part values page and select the tab “Serv Cont”. Select the correct company as well.
  2. Check whether there is a row with Serv Cont = xxxxxx.
  3. If no such line, enter one.
  4. If the line is there, check the validity period of it. It should be valid on the date you are performing the action.
  5. Also check whether it is a “Budget/planning” serv cont. If yes, either disable it or you will have to choose a different “Serv Cont”.

This error depends on the posting control setup and since the exact action on when you get this error is not mentioned, I cannot mention which posting type to check. Therefore, if you need to check the setup please check it here as well.

Best Regards,

Thilini

Thank you for your prompt response.

Adding the Code Part Value resolved the Pre Posting issue.

However, when I try to Activate the Contract a new error appears.

Hi @Macbaydn

You are most welcome.

For the 2nd error, you need to select the service contract line, select Pre-posting and add a value for code part “Rev Stream”.

Best Regards,

Thilini
