Hi, I looking for a API that updates total price of a demand when Billable flag is set to Fixed. I tried below api, but only the billable flas is set to Fixed but total price does not change. Is there a way to prevent the Customer Contract credit card info from being copied over to the renewal quote when the “Run Renewal” process is executed? This information is often out of date or not valid for the new quote so it would be better to not have to remember to clear it from the renewal quote.

Our logistics manager would like to change the warehouse type on certain warehouses. These are all van warehouses, and we want the stock level on replenishment orders to change. This works well if we change the warehouse type in the database (not possible in the UI) - but are there other functions we need to take into consideration as well? Or is it just unadviceable to change this?

Hi, If a Customer Return is completed with Return Action: Exchange. The Customer Return does not shows up in Customer Return Billing Batch to move the Customer return to History, but it stays status Completed in non History table.I understand that this return action does not need to be invoiced, so it is not in Billing Batch. But is it possible to move this To History table of will the returns always be in non History table as Completed? Thanks, Robin

Can an employee be configured to have access only to orders of a specific Customer? The employee must be able to create and process Customer Support, Service Orders, Sales Orders,… but only for 1 specific Customer. He also may only see those order for that Customer when searching in Order Locator or other modules.

We have a question here: is it possible to set up alerts on customers/sites or contracts that are not attached to the service order and sent to SA? We use quite a lot of alerts today (such as “Talk to Lars on arrival”), but some alerts we would like to restrict to backoffice use only - we don’t want to spam the SAs with alerts they don’t need. Is there way to filter what alerts are sent to Mobile? or another feature that may help solve this?

Hi, Can we als add Alerts to Ship Lists when Shiplist is creating and must send to specific warehouse or company? I expected this to work the same as with CS, SV and RP order. But when I set an alert on a specific to warehouse or to company, no Alert appears on the Ship List. Is this as designed or is it possible in another way. Note I am talking about Alerts not Alarms. We currently have a monthly service contract that the customer did not renew - in May of 2024. They just asked to start the service back up. We have an object of service set up for the monthly PM. If I go through the renewal process, I don’t have an option to skip the past year or have a new start date. I can renew it for 2 years, but then I have 12 months of orders that were not generated. Which is OK.. but not very clean looking. Is there a way to keep the same contract id and skip a year on the renewal?

Hi, A service order is created with 2 activities, dispatched to the same technician. Without using mobile work flow (moe -10100 unchecked), the technician can do the “stop work” on the 1st activity and go to the “completion” block at the bottom of the page to sign for example and exit from the service order. But with using the mobile work flow (for example moe -10117 set like this : details,start work,items,materials,checklists,stop work,completion), after having done “stop work” on the first activity, the technician is obliged to click on “start work” on the 2nd activity and complete this 2nd activity before beeing able to access to the “completion” block. Is there a way, with using mobile Work Flow, to go to the completion block after having done the “stop work on the first activity ? Thanks for your feedback

Are there any concerns, or issues, increasing the Max Allowed Distance to 600 miles? I currently have it set to 300 miles, but we are having DSE allocation issues failing because we have “Exceeded the max travel distance definitions according to Geo services.”

We have a Vendor - multiple that we no longer use. I am not able to change their status to in-active in the vendor center as they have purchase req’s already associated to them. Is there another way to remove them from the selection list of vendors? All of the associated PR’s are fulfilled, so one would think you could make that change.

Hi, When Customer using the Mail Listener a email is send back with API Response , when they fill in a e-mailaddress in the “mail” parameter of the API Body. By default the response Subject is: Astea Alliance API Response. The question is, can we modify the subject so it will include the request id and/or refno of customer? Thanks, Robin.

Hi, One of our customer used a SLA setup with “next day”. SLA is based on open date, and coverage is 8h00-18h00 for example. Contractuel SLA is setup to be next day 18h00. So for a SV with open date = today, if we create a customer unavailability on today, if the customer unavalibility ends before 18h00 today, this has no effect on the revised SLA. But our customer would like in this case the revised SLA to be automatically offset by the duration of the unavailability. Is there a way to setup this ? Thanks by advance

We use Sales Orders to deliver new hardware to the customer site, so after shipping, the hardware is in the Installed Base of that site. When doing renewals, we have also to remove scrapped hardware from the site. Therefor we create a Customer Return and wanted to scrap those items on Receive. The Scrapped option is in the drop down list of the item in de Receiving But we cannot select that option, this message pops up How can we “easily” scrap items from the Installed items following a logisitc process?

Hi, For a customer use case, we have SV with Material demand (mainly ship direct to the customer and only 1 part by SV). No DSE session for this customer process. For the scheduling process, we want that dispatchers would see directly in the dispatch console the data for the material demand (to avoid sheduling a technician before the estimated delivery date for the part) : status material demand (needed, allocated, ship open, shipped) and the mot important the delivery date. For the status, it’s ok. Could we have a way to display the delivery date in the dispatch console ? due_dt or exp_delivery_date Thanks and Regards anthony

Hi, We would like to have some amount off the total quote (header). If we try to add a percentage discount on the quote header, that's fine, because the discount is spread across each line as a percentage, which amounts to the same thing.But if we want to specify the fixed amount, to be deducted from the total, ALLIANCE applies this amount on each line and the total does not correspond to what we want. Is there any way to achieve this ? Thank you

Hi, an internal material order is shipped by error to a Technician Van. Then to correct this in back-office, in the receiving line, they declare the line as “wrong Shipment”. In mobility, in the “Material order” screen the technician see those IMO in status “590 Wrong shipment”. Is there a way to NOT display those IMO ? Thanks
