Cost Roll Error - Quantity on Hand Does Not Meet Demand

Forum|alt.badge.img+7

Hello, Our finance department is attempting a cost roll on some new parts and they are receiving this error: “The sum of the quantity on hand and the supplies does not cover the demands.” Any ideas? Is this a part setup issue or may that the materials used in the product structures are not set up correctly?

The shortage notification checkbox on the inventory part can cause some troubles. Not sure if it would stop a cost roll but it’s worth a shot

Hi BOAABAIN,

Thank you for looking at my post. I checked all the parts involved in this cost roll and none had this checkbox active on their inventory part record. The problem must lie elsewhere. But thank you again for trying to help out!
