Status of TR unchanged after Approval Routing

Good day.  Due to multiple approval levels on TR’s at our Customer, we are using a combination of the Travel Request Configuration and Approval Routings.  If first level Approval has been done based on the TR Configuration setup, but TR is Rejected on 2nd or 3rd level approval step via the Approval Routing, the status of the TR remains “Approved” (based on 1st level approval that was done). 

Any suggestions in this regard?

@AnGo how is this configured?

Do you have an event action that moves the TR status to Approved once the 1st Approval Step was approved? If that’s the case, then you should re-work the event action so that it moves the TR status only if the all the Steps from Approval Template are approved - 100%.

You might have cases where your Approval Template could have just one step, so you need to make sure your Event Action is changing the status correctly.

@AnGo it must be some event action. Normally Approval templates / Approvals have no effect by themselves on the business logic, unless there are some events that check Approvals before allowing a status change for example.
