Hi all,

I created a customer order as SEO from work order.

Then i created a resource into work order task, then allocated and reported them. So i see the automatilcally added lines as sales object at “Sales” tab, but i can’t transfer these lines with state “Invoiceable” to customer order when i created at the start on work order level.

What i am missing, let me know please. Does it not support to transfer sales object to customer order simply like older versions?

Note: Version 24.1 and cost type: “Personnel”

Thanks.

Hi Oğuzhan,

A background job will be running to approve the invoice. Could you please check the background job when executing approve, and send an image of the background job when is complete?

Best Regards,

Thilina.

Hi Oğuzhan,

Could you please share the test plan how you created the customer order using the work order?

Hi @TLAKLK ofcourse i do.

I created a work order first at prepare level with customer and serial object.

Then create a customer order from Work Order / RMB / Customer Relationship / Create Order way.

I solved the problem btw. The problem was i though has not to created preinvoice on work task level after set as finally finished, authorize costs etc. steps. Then the sales object reflected to customer order lines as i expected. But this way is not user friendly i think, this way has so many steps until the customer order, maybe u know a shorter way, let me know please.

Thanks.

Hi Oğuzhan,

This is the correct functionality.

  1. Create a work order with the object and customer.
  2. Create a customer order using the work order.
  3. Add a work task to the work order.
  4. Add a resource, assign a work, and complete the work assignment.
  5. Authorize the time reports and cost sales, and add a sales part if there is no sales part in the sales line.
  6. Now try to finish the work task, You will receive an error message that you can’t finish the work task without invoicing.
  7. Therefore create an invoice and approve the invoice. The sales line will be available in the customer order.
  8. Now you can finish the work task and close the customer order.

Regards,

Thilina.

Hi @TLAKLK,

I got a weird problem right now.

When i following the steps correctly until the invoice preview approve step, the status changed “Executing Approve”, but when i check the customer order the sales object doesn’t reflect to there, then when i return the invoice page i see the state returned to “New” again automatically.

Have u info about this, let me know please. U can check the status changes event below picture.

Best Regards.
