Error message: Pulling advance invoice into posting proposal

Any suggestions on this error message? There are debit and credit open advances that cannot be automatically matched with the invoice SI ####. Please offset advances not relevant for the Invoice ####, manually in a payment entry window first. When creating a posting proposal (IEE Apps 9), RMB header Advance Invoice only shows one available Advance Invoice. There should be three showing. When I do select that one Advance Invoice that appears, I get the error.If IFS is expecting a supplier offset, what does it mean by “offset advances not relevant”? This is my third question in community… hoping for a response.If not able to respond, do you have a favorite resource for IFS information you could share? I don’t mind weeding through information or reading 1,000 pages to find the answer I need. Thank you in advance if you have an idea on this one. Liz

Maintenance Plan Due Value

On a maintenance plan, once a Work Order is closed, the due reference is removed from that line. But if a Work Order is cancelled from Prepare Work Order screen, the due reference is still visible on the plan line and it keeps on increasing with each passing day for calendar and latest readings recorded for condition. Is it a defect cause once a WO is closed or cancelled, the due plays no role anymore for that particular line, still it reflects on the line level.

Lobby Tile Titles - truncating

We’ve just deployed Apps 10 UPD20 to our TEST environment and the first thing we have noticed is that lobby tiles with ‘long’ names no longer show on two lines. They are truncated to 1 with ….at the end.We now have a number of tiles with the same name shown in IEE - and a fun job to rename them. Is there a setting that has become valid - or can anyone shed some light onto the IFS Developer Mindset? Thanks,Matt

task / appointment historical data are no more present/visible

Hi for two of our customers in V15.4 it looks like in the task/history module (or also into the database into demand_done table with demand_type_id = 'task' or demand.demand_type_id = 'appt' we don’t find any more data before 30/03/2023. Have you already encountered this ? is there an automatic process somewhere ? i have seen that in the config editor on the profile session there is a timer called MoveTaskAppointmenttoHistory could it be the cause ?Thanks for your feedbackRgdsChristophe

IFS Cloud 23R1 Release Notes - Detail & Summary Availability?

For 22R2, release notes came out late - on the day of the release. I’m unaware of any other major ERP waiting until launch day to inform their base what’s coming. Instead, both summary and comprehensive (yet trackable) detail is shared 30-60 days in advance. For 23R1, what can we expect around release notes - and when? The release is coming out later this year, so we’re now in the sweet spot to help us manage change in my experience.What I hope to avoid beyond (waiting until May 25) is having to go module announcement by announcement to gather the highlights. And then seeing bullet 15.7 on the release summary (under Procurement) referencing supplier hierarchies as something to consider when updating. Then have to go to the 23R1 help docs to learn about 3.4.7.1 Manage Supplier Hierarchy… Happy to share more of my past experiences and expectations via this thread or directly. Thank you,Russell

Genomics Webshop - JSON order interfaceCredit card orders are sent from Hybris with 'CCWEB' as the payment terms ID in the order request. IFS is not populating CCWEB as the payment in the customer order which is resulting in the customer's card not being charged or being sent to Paytrace. Assigning Maintenance Work Orders in Apps 9

Hello Community, Can someone please provide guidance on how to assign “Active Work Orders” in the Service / Maintenance Module in APPS9? When I right mouse button click over an active work order I see “Allocate Resources” but the option is greyed out. I’m not sure if there are some Basic Data tasks I might have missed during setup. Extending Additional Views - how to use .views file

I want to alter a Purchase Part selection screen, as used when selecting items for a purchase order. Currently only the ID of the Purchase Group is shown and I want to also display the name (and allow the user to filter on it when selecting a part).I can add an attribute as follows which looks up the description.On its own, this works and I can see in the database that the PURCHASE_PART view now has an additional field that shows the name of the purchase group.From what I could tell, in order to include the new field on the screen I needed to alter the following: However I now get an error when trying to go onto that screen and it is because that screen appears to be looking at the PURCHASE_PART_LOV3 view. My new attribute is not included in that view.It looks like the PurchasePart.views file contains the various additional views. Currently my PurchasePart-Cust.views file is blank. Is there any way I can get it to just add a single field to additional views? I don’t really want to copy

MRP Part Required Dates - MS Unconsumed Forecast

How is the “Required Date” calculated for parts used on an item that has unconsumed forecast quantities? Why is is the date scaled to the quantity?In this example, compare:A forecast quantity on the top level product (MTA5519SER3) of 10 for 4/2/24, causing a required date on the part of 2/14 (2 months)A forecast quantity of 5 for 7/9/24, causing causing a required date on the part of 6/10 (1 month) Why does the date required depend on the quantity? The logic we we are looking for would be a required date backed up by 1 day, regardless of the quantity. Is there a setting somewhere we can change that controls this?We noticed this issue when we started using more phantoms. For this part number, when used on another product (RS519GEN3) not using phantoms, the need date makes sense.

Mailbox Reader won't start up in assyst 11.6 with a custom logging form set

We just upgraded from 11.3 to 11.6, and our mailbox reader services that use the logging_form parameter will not start up. Shop order: saved detailed standard costs

Standard costs on a shop order will be generated with the current information also for old shop orders, which allows no real comparison of planned cost & WIP.Is there a possibility in IFS Cloud to have these detailed standard costs (per operation and cost bucket) saved for each shop order, i.e. when created or released?If not, is it in the roadmap for a future release?

Alert pop-up customization not working

We are noticing that our customization for showing Alert pop-ups when opening a customer support or service order against specific sites, is not working. We are using 15.1.0.1401 in Production and 15.1.0.1501 in UAT and see the same thing in both. Is anyone aware of any Microsoft patches that may cause this issue?
