Capping POC, Project WIP, Periodic capitalisation

Hi there, We are having a problem with our project WIP. We set up a project group with the following settings on the attached screen shots The estimated revenue was 100K with costs at 80k The results are show shown in the final screenshot after the periodic capitalization… The problem is, that it does not seem to recognise if the costs are going over and seems to report revenue that will never be received! Obviously this will be catastrophic for reporting! Is there a setting we are missing somewhere Any ideas?? Many thanks

SOAP - PL/SQL Methods Webservices - Replacement in Cloud?

Up to App10, ‘PL/SQL Methods Webservices’ was an easy way to expose PL/SQL Methods for inbound synchronous messaging in form of SOAP webservices:https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/foundation1/050_development/024_integration/020_webservices/020_plsql_methods_webservices/default.htmNo BizAPI, minimal modeling, and it worked and there was a proper WSDL available for them. It seems it is not available any more in IFS Cloud.I would like to know what is the closest replacement for them.We want as little changes in the interface as possible, keeping SOAP, not switching to REST.Might this one (Routing Addresses of PL/SQL type) be part of the solution?:https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/23r1/060_development/024_integration/015_connect/025_plsql_methods/ What is the easiest way to achieve this?WSDL is necessary for the 3rd party to use it. Prohibit automatic issue of inventory parts in MMR, allow only manual issue method

Hello! Please tell me, is it possible to limit the method of issue off material in an maintenance material order? It is necessary to prohibit the automatic issue of some inventory parts. Only manual issue should be available.Are there any special settings in the inventory part catalog?If you solve such a problem using a trigger, then how can you determine that there is an automatic issue and not a manual issue?The package shows that different methods are called to perform these actions, but in the end there are no parameters by which it could be determined that the material was issued off manually or automatically.

Cancel Matching - Mixed Payment

Have cancelled the matching on a mixed payment however it has not reversed as I would have expected.The payment is now not showing on the customer account, but is showing as a separate entry on an aged creditor list.How can I rectify this mixed payment (I am now unable to cancel the mixed payment) to show on customer account and not on the separate age creditor line?

MT940 Error - A Payer/Payee Identity does not exist..

Hello Experts, I am using MT940NLABN payment format. Loading the below test file. (without the invoice number 9700002):25:1111:60F:D231116EURC20,00:61:2311161116C120,00N196NONREF:86:22229700002:62F:D231116EUR100,00When the file is loaded without the invoice number error messages appears.. "A Payer/Payee Identity does not exist"Account number 2222 is mapped under customer's electronic payment address.However, when loaded with the invoice number the customer is identified as the invoice number identifiers are already defined. Really appreciate if someone can direct me to get this corrected. Thank you.

Enabling New Button in a Table

Event Action for STEP_READY_FOR_APPROVAL

Hello,I am trying to set up an Event Action for STEP_READY_FOR_APPROVAL. Email notification when a new Document or CR/CO is routed for approval. Approvers should receive an email notification when the item is ready for the approver to approve based on the approval step per the approval template. I am having difficulties with this and any help with be very appreciated.

Weighted average and project inventory

Hello,I have the following situation:-IFS10 UPD16-The company uses Weighted Average -They buy an inventory part, that goes in Project Inventory, at $411 (PO Price).-When the part is issued to a Work Order connected to the project, the cost is $170 (based on WA). After the part is used, even if qty=0, I still have an amount left in project inventory of $241 ($411-$170 ).How do I get rid of this difference? Thanks,Cora

Tagging of Equipment

Hi All, We are looking to see if a specific functionality exists in IFS. We currently have the ability to have specific tagging instructions write from an outside program when order for multiple qty's of a single line item. Example - I have a qty of 10 as a line item on a customer order. Each of those items have specific tagging instructions - item 1 of 10 on the order goes to Building A , item 2 of 10 does to Building B, and so on and so forth. Other than the serial part notes field, is there a place where this type of information natively goes in IFS without modification. The goal is to print a label and apply it to each item, per the customers tagging instructions. This is separate from our serial number. Does this exist currently in IFS?

Prevent Report Rules from sending email from Print Dialog

Hi,We are currently using Event Actions to send email from IFS and want to move to Report Rules for the greater flexibility offered and because it’s the IFS recommended way of sending email.Taking Customer Orders as an example:We want all of our emails to be driven from the Share - Email Order Confirmation screen which is opened when hitting Share - Email Order Confirmation (funnily enough!!):Hitting OK generates the Customer Order Confirmation report PDF and emails the report to 123@email.com as expected.The problem comes when printing the Order Confirmationwhich brings up this screen (I’ll call it the Print Dialog screen):If you hit OK then the Report Rule will run and will email the report to 123@email.com. We don’t want this. Ignore the Email box in the picture above, that is a different issue and doesn’t affect the question. What is needed is a condition on the Report Rule that prevents it from sending an email if the Report Rule has been fired from the Print Dialog screen.Our bes

Using Kanban circuit to stop over producing

I am facing an issue at our factory that when an integration line has a stoppage, the information does not reach manufacturing and the parts manufactured keep clogging the lines. I have found no way to control this in IFS. I have not used Kanban circuits before but I was wondering if this could be a solution. could I set a maximum quantity for a specific part and a reorder point so when the quantity of parts exceeds the set limit, no more shop orders are released into manufacturing? thank you in advance.

Migration of module -SCENTR to IFS Cloud

Hi Experts, I am trying to create a custom Substitution map for my distribution list. The notifications are not being sent to the email. Inconsequent calculation of duration shop floor clocking

Case:Clocking's are started on day 1 and stopped on another day. Some of the durations are calculated on a 24 hours timeframe for example:start time : 19/10/2023 07:35:00stop time: 20/10/2023 07:47:00duration : 23.2 (standard break from 12-13 each working day)time share and crew size = 1Other duration are calculated on a 8 hour timeframe for examplestart time: 19/10/2023 10:14:00stop time: 20/10/2023 09:29:00duration : 7.25time share and crew size = 1We are using on standard calendar on all levels (labor class, employee, work center etc)settings on site : calendar consideration: calendar time and overtimeQuestionWhat is the reason for the different calculation of the duration in the clockings?
