Hi,

Can someone please let me know the Pre and Post deployment script to migrate the App10 app to IFS Cloud 24R2. Please provide the scripts or path for the scripts.

Hi @mumoin,

Yes you can find it((including clean scripts)  inside the build-home(manualdeploy/database/). These scripts are component wise provided here. Example is given below.

Please note that, even though it says to be a script, it is not the case always.

Sometimes there might be a pre or a post action that you will have to further investigate , plan and implement of your own with the help of a subject area expert(functional). You can get the basic guidelines and its relevancy  from the excel sheets in the docs shared.

Regards,

Binuri

Hi @mumoin,

you can find those scripts from the below links. These have a detailed excel sheet which describes all the pre and post scripts required for this migration.

complete guide:

https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r2/070_remote_deploy/040_upgrading_system/040_deploying_upgrade/

pre and post scripts: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r2/070_remote_deploy/040_upgrading_system/015_upgrade_considerations/050_product_specific_info/010_ifs_components/

Hi Binuri,

I have gone through the ifs docs, but I am not able to find the exact scripts. Can you please help me to find the exact scripts. Are the scripts present inside build home?

Thanks,

Muntaj
