+2When installing IFS Developer Studio 10.82. The installer screen has a check box for “Use custom update center” as shown below. Could someone clarify what it is used for? What are the implications if we check it or leave it unchecked and proceed with the installation. Thank you!

If the user is inside IFS network, Developer Studio updates from an internal update center. Partners or customers that do not have access to the IFS network can setup an update center within their own network using the partner version of IFS Developer Studio. I guess you do not have access to IFS Intranet, so you can setup your own update center if you want to get frequent updates. This is not mandatory.
