Hi,

Has anyone managed to get an IFS Migration Job (we are Apps 9 but interested in other versions) to export a file directly to a machine other than the DB Machine?

Thanks,

Matt

Hi,

yes it is possible.

Use Oracle directories - You have to have access on operating system level where you have oracle DB to folder where You want save file. I've created quick sample see attached file.

Best Regards

Thanks - I was 90% of the way there - but the document gave me the confidence to revisit.

I did need to add access to the network directory to the DB machine (not user) for it to finally work.

Thanks,

Matthew
