Dear IFS community,We are running our production application, IFS Cloud (Remote Operating Model - MicroK8s cluster), on an Ubuntu Server 22.04.5 LTS. For our integrations monitoring purposes, we plan to implement Python-based scripts and run them inside Docker containers. To achieve this, we are considering installing Docker and Docker Compose on the same server where MicroK8s (IFS Cloud application) is currently operating.Could you please confirm/advise:Are there any known conflicts or compatibility issues between Docker/Docker Compose and MicroK8s in this setup? Is it safe and supported to run Docker alongside MicroK8s on the same production server? Are there any best practices or recommendations from IFS regarding resource allocation or isolation in such a configuration? If this is not the best practice approach to monitor integrations, can you recommend a better one?Our product version: 24.2.1

Hi, we’re experiencing a strange issue where a lot of users are unable to use any SQL quick reports. The affected users have all required projections, and the trace information doesn’t provide any information other than a generic server error 500. We’ve seen instances where there are two users with exactly the same permission set grants, and one of them can access quick reports, whilst the other user can’t.Currently have a case raised with IFS support, but wondering if anyone has come across this before?SqlQuickReports/QuickReportOverview (server error)An internal server error occurred. Is there a way to backflush material in a Shop Order without getting the following error? Parent part is multilevel tracking enabled and serializedThe error doesn’t appear when the “Manual Reservation” is done. In an effort to re-create and configure a page (for which it’s entity will not allow custom attributes), I’ve pursued creating a custom entity and custom attributes within the new entity to re-create the page + other fields. An SQL quickreport (read-only) with all the fields (custom or otherwise) that we need would work, but QRs don’t allow the use of page designer features like commandgroups.However, when creating an entity I’m running into a limitation where a persistent field is required for a custom entity. I just need it to be read only. Is there any workaround? We are on Cloud 24R1 currently.While an option, our business wishes to avoid modifications where possible, such as adding fields via Projection Fragments in the Cust layer in Developer Studio to the standard projection.

I am new to IFS and the company I work for, I have been asked to run simulations on data using the Analysis tab in PSO.  Is this the correct way? or is there a better way?These are the steps I am told to follow:1) Pull snapshot from the archive in production2) Loan snapshot into training environment to get the baseline file using Data Viewer3) Using the Analysis tab, download the Group By extracts 4) Change the baseline file for the simulation (ie. change base values)5) Load simulation data into the training environment  using Data Viewer 6) Using the Analysis tab, download the Group By extracts 7) Compare the baseline and simulation Group By extracts manuallyI am having a hard time understanding the changes since all I get is summarized data, I can’t dive into the data and see why things changed since all I get a summaries. So here are some questions I have but can’t seem to get answers too:1)

Hi IFS Team,The work task was completed on 28/12/2025 via the mobile work order; however, the status update in the IFS application was delayed by one day.We have an event trigger that executes when the work task status changes to “Completed.” Due to the delay in the status update, the related event trigger for “Sending report to User” was also delayed.Could you please advise on how this issue can be resolved to avoid such delays in the future?

I am trying to generate a GS1 QR Code in IFS Report Designer but cannot find a way to create a group separate to separate the columns that will create the QR Code.   Wadaco Configuration has been created so that FNC1 code 10 = LOT_BATCH_NO and code 241 = PART_NO.   I therefore created a READ ONLY custom field that using the following SELECT statement:   SELECT '10'||lot_batch_no||chr(29)||'241'||part_no FROM INVENTORY_PART_BARCODE WHERE objid = :objid   If I copy and paste the value from the custom field into Wadaco GS1 Barcode 1 on clicking SAVE the the value of the LOT_BATCH_NO is displayed in the Lot Batch field and the value of PART_NO is displayed in the Part No field. Unfortunately, adding the custom field to IFS Report Designer the ascii value appears to be ignored as copying the value displayed on the report and pasting it as above the full value appears in the Lot Batch field. Hi all,Users are required to send E-Invoices including invoices images based on their custom layouts but when processing an e-invoice it always picks the default/standard print layout and generates the xml.There are layouts made based on different country requirements and need to set it up against each company print and currently when trying to send e-invoice there is no option to select it. Is there a way to achieve this or any alternative solutions?Appreciate your answers and suggestions.Thank you.

Are working in IFS app10.   And we have added extra investment. but when we are activate the extra investment it will not go over to the objects base value (but it looks like the hole amount inc. the extra add investment are in the activating) - some bugg or ? 

It seems both apps gets updated and the functionality seems to be quite identical. What is the exact difference between the 2 apps? 

Hi,I am facing an issue when moving files from Database to FTP. Currently we are using APP 09 UPD 08.  Below are the steps I’ve followed,I have two repositories: TEST_DB and TEST_FTP. The TEST_DB is of the ‘database’ repository type and is set to the usable state, while TEST_FTP is of the ‘FTP’ repository type and is set to the generating state.   I have configured the FTP details under Repository Address and User, and I have also created a document class on the FTP server with the exact name that I am going to use to move the files.
