Hello IFS Community, we are trying to create a fairly simple Quick Report for our accounting department that includes a few views and tables, one of them is the one called “gen_led_voucher_tab” but when we try to run the report we get the following:  {"code":1031,"message":"ORA-01031: insufficient privileges"} even if we try to run something as simple as :select *FROM gen_led_voucher_tab we have even tried to run this report using an admin user with what we believe it has all the permissions, but we are still getting the same error, so we are clearly missing a permission somewhere?? anybody has any idea what are we missing ? we are running IFS Cloud 24R2 your help will be truly appreciated !

Are Permission Sets data (Method Objects) stored in a table? I need to know where I can find this data? This shows a visual chech box of object method that are granted to a permission set. Where is this data stored?  

Dear IFS Support, We're planning to set up a High Availability (HA) MicroK8s cluster for our IFS deployment. Our current setup:2 VMs running MicroK8s 2 VMs running Oracle 1 VM ManagementQuestions:Is it possible to configure HA with just 2 nodes for IFS, despite the documentation mentioning a minimum of 3 nodes? If not, what's the recommended minimum configuration for an HA MicroK8s cluster supporting IFS?

In IFS Cloud, I have set up an event action based on the event, PDF_REPORT_CREATED. The event action sends a pdf of the purchase order to our supplier. However, when testing the set up, my application message shows the purchase order as an .xml attachment and does not include a pdf.On the event action I set up the attachment to be &PDF_FILE which worked in IFS10.Does anyone know how to properly set this up?Thank you

Hi All,Does anybody come across with connecting RIBA payment format for supplier Payment? Process of customer payment is working fine and I would like to know what would be the supplier payment process.Much appreciate help on this.Thank you. 

 Problem:When users connect documents to PR Lines, PO Lines, CO Lines, or any other screens, there is no visible indication on the line that an attachment exists. Users can only find the document by manually clicking the attachment icon on each line, which is time-consuming and not user-friendly.Description:Across various line-level screens in IFS, there is currently no visual indication to show that a document has been connected to a specific line. Users need to open the attachment panel on each line to verify if any document exists, which becomes challenging during regular operations, especially when working with many lines. Please refer to the attached screenshots for clarity.Example (PO Lines): a document is connected at the line level, but there is no visible indication until the user clicks the attachment icon.

Hello Everyone, We are trying to retrieve all documents that appear in the Docman panel when viewing a record in IFS Applications 9.As you know, when you open any LU (e.g., CustomerInfo, BusinessLead, ShopOrder, etc.) in IFS9, the Docman panel shows: Directly connected documents from DOC_REFERENCE_OBJECT Documents coming through Object Connection Transformations We want to retrieve ALL document references shown in the UI — the same result that the Docman panel displays.For example, we want to specify which LU we are currently in, provide the LU_NAME and KEY_REF values of that LU, and expect the system to return all documents or media objects related to that record. Regards,Baris

A mapping sheet they created during a Cloud migration,2. An internal or partner reference that lists BizAPI → Projection equivalents,3. When i’m printing my customer invoice it remains in the printed state , it doesn’t directed to posted Auth state . Tell me the reason for it.

I’ve raised a similar question before, but the answer didn’t really help us. Our business want to reserve parts in the portal. Would it be possible to add a button that reserves all the parts that are in the list of planned materials?We’re thinking, a Workflow could run that would do this, it would look at the parts that have been planned on the work task, and then reserve them.Has anyone tried this?

Hi,I was trying to initiate a Hanover to a Request, though I get below error. My service organization is the one responsible for the service(Setup in the service catalog). Therefore, this error is meaningless as I see. Further, the error shows a Request id, which is very strange, because system does not create a new request (error stops processing any further). Also, this number increments with the attempts I do. Looks like this is a core bug. I wonder if someone has tried and has different opinion or confirmed by the product team that this is a bug?Thank you,Roshan  

Hi,We have an issue with customer invoice printing in IFS Cloud.When I print a customer invoice, the status changes to Printed only.However, when another user (same site and same company) prints the same invoice, the status immediately moves to Posted (Authorized).We are trying to understand why two users trigger different invoice statuses when performing the exact same action.Questions: What authorizations or roles could cause invoice printing to auto-post for some users but not others? Which permission sets or projections control whether “Print Invoice” also performs Authorize/Posting? Where should we check for user-specific settings that might trigger auto posting during invoice printing? Thanks!

If we are storing confidential data like SIN numbers, health insurance numbers, credit cards, etc… in IFS. Are we able to encrypt/mask those data from any user who shouldn’t have access to them including IFSAPP? I have started reading on Encrypting Oracle SQL but not yet certain if IFS supports this...

I am curious as to why the "Amount in Acc Curr" column is not visible in the Supplier Payment Proposal Details view, yet it appears when I print the Payment Proposal. Does anyone have any insights on this?

Hi All, We have the following two scenarios happening in one of our customers’ Service Management business.They rent equipment from outside suppliers to be used for their customers’ service requests.  They use their own company rental assets for their customers’ service requests as internal rentalHow are the above scenarios catered for in IFS Cloud → IFS Service Management > Request Management?  As I could see it’s not possible to do so in Request Work Task. Is there a workaround? TIA

Hello everyone,We are using IFS Applications 9. We would like to automatically attach the output of any IFS report (such as an Order Report, PDF output, or Quick Report) to a record in DocMan. I have reviewed similar topics, such as Mr. Damith’s posts about sending order reports as e-mail attachments. However, I couldn't find a clear answer on whether it is possible in Apps 9 to retrieve a report’s PDF output via PL/SQL and attach it automatically to DocMan. Is it possible in Apps 9 to retrieve a report’s PDF output via PL/SQL and automatically attach it to DocMan? If anyone has implemented this or knows the correct approach, could you share which APIs or method you used?

Hi all,I’ve hit a snag while configuring document access in IFS Applications and would appreciate some clarity from the community.Scenario: I’ve set up two access groups via access templates: one for Read and another for Write. Users in the Read group can see documents as expected. However, these same users are able to detach documents—both those they’ve created and those created by others. My understanding is that ‘Read’ access should prevent any action beyond viewing, so detaching feels like a breach of the intended restrictions. What I’ve Checked: Restricted Access is set to Yes/ON for the document class in question. So I have a question concerning the move quantity on a transport tasks generated from a Kanban Circuit.We are using scanners to perform these Transport Tasks. The issue is that we are not allowed to move a quantity greater than what is shown on the transport task. We can move less and the kanban system will auto generate the difference the next time it runs (unless we modify the kanban circuit to not do so). However, when we create manual transport tasks (non-kanban), we are allowed to move greater quantities. What makes them function differently? Is there a setting somewhere that we need to make to the Kanban Circuits or Transport Tasks or System to allow move quantities on kanban generated transport tasks to be less restrictive and function more like the manual transport tasks.Essentially what we are looking for is the ability to use these kanban transport tasks to correctly move parts from the correct lot from one location to another but not be confined to the move

Hello,This week we went live with IFS Cloud (24R2) and migrated from IFSAPPS9.We experience a lot of issues with mobile users that want to use the Service Engineer App.The initialization process for these users runs into this error: Initialize entity data failed: STMTPREPFAIL:Can not prepare statement ( select distinct F.filter_id, F.granted_filter_type_db from ifsapp.activity_grant_filter F, ifsapp.activity_grant A, ifsapp.fnd_user_role_runtime R where R.identity = ? and R.role = A.role and A.activity_name = ? and A.role = F.permission_set_id(+) and A.activity_name = F.activity_name(+)). Exception is: IJ031070: Transaction cannot proceed: STATUS_ROLLEDBACK - IJ031070: Transaction cannot proceed: STATUS_ROLLEDBACK Looks like there is a data issue, but I'm not able to track down where it comes from and I have no clue what we can do to solve this.Is there anyone who experienced this before or might have a clue how we can fix this?

physical count is zero for the specific part, but it cannot be counted out from the system. mentioned error is appearing. appreciate if someone can teach me how to change allocations for a location. 

Hi heros, I am having performance issues using mobile apps. For example, I tried CRM companion with the same mobile phone (model, OS, app version), one is getting 3 minutes to open, and other 60 minutes. Other users try using their cell phones and getting stick and when I try using the same user, I have no problems. Is it any configuration I can do to help with the performance?Thanks, Gianni Neves
