I am working with a Customer’s CBP environment on Cloud 23R2. I was able to download the CRM Panel manifest file and upload it on to Outlook.I can see the IFS CRM Panel Add in, however on clicking it - I see the below error: What am I missing from a setup perspective? Appreciate your inputs.

Due to internal network restructuring, the Windows host of our on-premise IFS Apps 10 is going to be having a change of IP address.With the obvious DNS updates catered for already, will changing the IP address of the host affect the running of any of our IFS software? Is there a known recommended safe documented way to do this ensuring that the IFS software doesn’t break?Thanks - Jon

while exporting the resources data, it is getting downloaded in arp format(screenshot below) and when we are opening this arp file, it is not showing in readable form in notepad. Please let me know how to view the data inside the downloaded resource arp file in readable form. PSO version 6.11.0.11 

Hello All;I have a client who is utilizing intersite functionality to direct ship material to an external customer on behalf on another site.  Everything is flowing normally, except when the PO lines have a receive case of “Receive into Arrival, Inspect at Arrival”.   At this point, they do not want to use an alternate receive case.The Direct Delivery is being processed by the intersite flow.   The PO lines are updating to “Closed” status but the Receipt Lines are in “To Be inspected”.  In order to complete the Register Inspection Results the PO Lines have to be manually reopened.   I would not expect the PO Line to close without the Register Inspection Results completed.  Is this the expected behavior?The client is on 22R1.8

Hello,  I would ask you a question. It is possible in Oracle Db updating or deleting data in views? I tried update column in some view, but I got error: “Cannot perform a DML operation on a read only view”. Is there an option to update view not in oracle db, but in IFS cloud app? Exist other options? Thanks

We are using IFS Apps 9. While investigating why we couldn't close certain projects, I discovered that some labor hours are listed as Committed hours in "Activities." Additionally, the associated project transactions are neither approved nor have cost accounting vouchers created, even though they have been invoiced. It appears that only a few of these transactions are non-invoiceable.Can someone clarify what is happening? The time card for the day seems accurate though. How can we avoid this in the future? 

Community, I have a customer order, say 10 lines, all are purchased parts. current supply code is set to “Inventory Order”, MRP will create purchase requisition supply. End user is requesting the purchase requisition created by MRP share the same purchase requisition no, is there a way we could make this happen? Thank you.

I have 2 users getting this error when they use F3. We have cleared the App_data and also cleared cache. It doesn’t go away but happens only once in a while. Hi AllAfter upgrading to IFS10 (Update 15) from IFS9 some of our users that occasionally are getting a hard error when querying the Customer Order screen? I am 99% sure that when we clear the users Personal Profile, it clears the error. The difficulty is users that have years of alterations in this and other areas who do not want their profiles cleared.Has anyone else worked with this issue and may have a solution or workaround?ThanksMikeNote: We haven't managed to get the View Detail script of the error yet.

Hello, Currently IFS has the possibility of capitalizing a project Transaction Based/ Periodical. There has been an increasing demand from business to have a possibility of capitalizing a project by the Activity ID. CAPEX Project->Sub Project->Activity - There should be a possibility to capitalize and create FA objects per activity sequence.Is there any alternative solution (one workaround is to create multiple projects, which is not desirable) or can IFS consider this for the future versions?Thanks 

How to migrate customer order and customer order lines using MIGRATE_SOURCE_DATA procedure?I tried to separately make a task to migrate an order and another to migrate a line and I keep getting an error.  

I have received a new SSL certificate along with the Private Key but every time I try to upload the certificate it requests a password.  One wasn’t provided.  Is there a way to load the SSL certificate and private key into Certlm.msc without the password.  Just wondering if I can load the SSL certificate and private key whether I could then export the loaded certificate and create a password that could then be used in the IFS installer.cmd or F1mage.exe. Thanking you in advance for your advice.

I was wondering if someone is able to offer an insight into the expected behaviour regarding ‘Reserving’ Items on a Work Order. Scenario:Prepare Work Order - Create Requisition - Convert to a Purchase Order - Receipt Item into Remote WarehouseAt that point I would have expected the Receipted Item to show as reserved against the Work Order it was ordered against.However, it appears that in some instances this is not the case and the item appears in the Remote Location with no reservation.Issue: This then results in items showing as available in the a location incorrectly, and increases our ‘stock’ value. This value should show against ‘Reserved Inventory Stock’. Is there an issue in our process preventing the reservation OR is this expected behaviour? Thanks in advance to any one who takes the time to respond. Lisa :-)

Good day.  I have created a TR and it has been Confirmed and Approved.  I want to pay an Advance on this TR, so I have added a Payment on the TR and Authorized it. On this screen there is only an Option to do Payment in Cash (I want to do an EFT Payment for the Advance): If I go to the Employee Payments Page, it is showing there as Authorized as well:If I select the TR on this Page, again, only Payment in Cash is available.What is the process to pay an Advance via EFT?Many thanks.  Anya.  

Please advice whenever we are raising a quick absence is there any chance of keeping the status as Authorized? 

We're currently in the process of transitioning from APPS10 to IFS Cloud and are facing a significant challenge with migrating document attachments.In our APPS10 environment, we used a shared repository for storing documents. However, with the shift to IFS Cloud, we've encountered an issue as shared repositories are not supported in the cloud environment. While we have set up a database repository in IFS Cloud for new document attachments, which is working fine, we’re blocked when it comes to migrating the existing documents from APPS10.We need to ensure that all our existing document attachments in APPS10 can be brought over to IFS Cloud and remain accessible within the application.I would greatly appreciate any insights or best practices on how to migrate these documents from a shared repository in APPS10 to a database repository in IFS Cloud. Has anyone else faced a similar issue, and if so, how did you resolve it?

I am trying to receive parts from a PO and I am getting the error message "There are not enough component parts shipped to the supplier to receive this quantity.I could see all the component parts of the particular line has been shipped to the supplier using supplier material functionality. The customer is using Project deliverables to create all the required supply request & the Component parts (2 parts ) for the line item are flowing from the Product item structure.Had also tried this work around given below Check the PO Line you are about to receive.RMB on the Supplier material (if the option is active and available)One of the components which has fractional quantity per assembly probably has Qty Calc rounding of 0 in inventory part.Change the Qty calc rounding and receive the PO LineStill the issue persists , when I am trying to change the qty calc rounding to 1 for example , I am getting an error that Qty calc rounding

Issue Description: Shop Floor Workbench "Identify"Environment version: IFS Cloud 23R1Details:Test Plan>> Navigate to Shop Floor Workbench window>> Type in the number 1 into the Employee box in the Identification Popup>> We would like to get rid of the List of Values that come up as people type in their badge number into the Employee Field. Here as 1002 - ABCD, 1004 - PQRS Here, concern is that In the Shop Floor Workbench screen, when an employee goes to Identify, as they type in their badge number, a list of values populates with other employees that have the same beginning numbers. We want to eliminate that list of values completely.If anyone don't want any other employee numbers or names to come up as they type. Is this possible? Please see the attached screenshots for reference. They don't want employees to be able to log into the Shop Floor Workbench as other employees.
