Assistance Needed with SQL/PL Email Notification for Purchase Order Receipts (Custom Event)

Hi,I hope you're doing well.I'm working on creating a custom event in IFS9 to send an email notification when a purchase order is received.I'm using PL/SQL code for this, but I've encountered a challenge. Currently, the system sends an email for each line item, while the user would prefer a single email for the entire order and receipt. I'm having some difficulty with this because, even though I can include all the received lines in the email, it still sends multiple emails, matching the number of lines received.I'm working with the LU: PurchaseReceipt and the table: PURCHASE_RECEIPT_TAB.If you have any suggestions or guidance on how to approach this, I would greatly appreciate it.Thank you in advance for your help!

Final Year End

Hi all looking for some help. I am trying to do the Final year end and have run all previous steps, however when i go into final year end the from and to accounting year has nothing available to select. Im trying to transfer from 2023 to 2024 but there is nothing available.Any ideas on what to check ?

Tax code change (VAT rate)

Hi,In Finland the common vat rate will increase on 1.9.2024.I have created the new tax code 25,5 valid from 1.9.2024.Because I have set valid date 1.9.2024,.IFS does not allow us to change the Tax Code to Supplier basic data today, because the valid date 1.9.2024.I can’t change the valid date from either.we have usedHow to solve this? terveisinTarja

Simple question, just can’t find a definitive answer anywhere. Looking at setting up the B2B Portal, but need to know about Users. If someone is going to log into the B2B site, do they need to be a fully licensed user?

New schedules erases backlog

Hi, our customer has an issue with a Customer Schedule. When a new Schedule arrives the existing backlog is erased from Inventory Part Availability Planning window. What should I look for? Is there setting we are missing in IFS or could it be the EDI-setup?

Rental Basic Data in Site cannot be edited

Does anyone have an idea on why the Rental basic data fields in Site > Rental tab such as “Chargeable Days ID”, “Date Exception ID” could not be edited even with ifsapp user? The related basic data have been entered in the respective screens but these fields in Site screen are not getting enabled. Thanks.

HELP - Custom field not visible but showing in page designer

Hi, im having some problems with some custom fields, i added the first one in CustomerInfoAddress and i published it in IEE, when i come to Aurena i see the field in the page designer and im able to add it to the group i want But the field is not being shown in the page Has enyone seen this problem? How could i fix it?

Excel Mig Job - Multiple Views and Autogenerate Values?

Hi all, this is on IFS EE Apps 10 Upd 20 for the Report in Work Order screen. I’m updating an existing Excel migration job to include the new fields Cust Warranty Claim, Output Type, (Note ID?), and Notes.. which has involved adding in 3 more views. WORK_ORDER_RETURNS_UIVWORK_ORDER_RETURNS_UIV_CFVJT_TASK_UIVDOCUMENT_TEXTI’m able to take the existing ‘Work Task’ lines and create the ‘Returns’ lines via the job and the Cust Warranty Claim field populates fine. However, the Document Text (Output Type and Notes) is not populating. When I remove the “On New Master” checkbox under Method List, I get an error that the NOTE_ID field is mandatory. However, I can’t figure out how to have this field autogenerate the value like it would in the GUI.. I’m at a loss and am hoping for some help for this rookie… I’ve included screenshots of everything I’ve got. New Employment Wizard, assignments field not populating.

Hello, I created organization structure and position structure.  Then I was setting up new employees.  I tried to assign the organization and position to the new employee, however, the field do not allow a search the newly created organization or position. Sometimes when things like this happen, you can just type in the value but that is not working in this case.  Below is the structure created.Just for a sanity check, I looked at the table that the find function queries.The values are obviously there.  Why is this not working? Thanks,

On hand in the IPAP does not show Customer Owned or Supplier Loaned

Hello,During a discussion where the customer is seeing Supply and Demand for Customer Owned material, and the On Hand was 0 even though we have stock.  The field level help says that the On Hand does not include Customer Owned or Supplier Loaned material.  We’re curious, why is that?Patrick

Manual Supplier Invoice Payment Term Matching to Payment Schedule

IFS Cloud Web version: 23.2.4.20240306160416.0Hello,We received a request for a PO with payment schedule as follows. Manual supplier invoices are sent for each payment event.30% down due immediately at PO issuance, 60% down due immediately before shipment, 10% Net 30 after PO receipt.I understand that we would use payment schedule in order to structure the payments, however we want the payment terms to automatically populate on each manual supplier invoice-i.e. advance invoice for 30% down has a payment term of due immediately, and final invoice for 10% has a 30 day due date. I can only see that payment term on an invoice is either inherited from PO header or Supplier - is there a way to specify automatic payment term inheritance on a manual supplier invoice?

Supplier Payment through Mixed Payment by External File Upload

Hi,We are having a requirement to create Supplier Payment (Advance payment for Multiple Advance invoices against various suppliers) through Mixed Payment through External File Template.This is required for migration of open supplier advance balances during rollout.Can someone please help me with the basic data required, creation of File type and execution of the same through external file assistant.Thanks in advance.

Shop floor clocking removing phantom lunch times.

I have only one employee that has their duration calculating wrong when they runs a job around 12pm. They are getting a .5 hr. indirect code everyday now when they have the same schedule as everyone else. What would cause this?

Never reprice certain line codes?

Hello,We have an issue where some line codes are getting re-priced to $0 when a contract is selected on a request.  Is there a way to prevent this?For example, we have a freight line code that is added to the request via an integration when parts ship.  If someone later selects a contract to use on the request the freight line will be set to $0.  This creates a big inconvenience. If we even catch this, we will have to go lookup the shipping cost in another system.We are using FSM 6.5 (Smart Client)Thanks,

Is it possible to determine a loading order of a set of migration jobs based on target oracle table constraints

Hi, I am currently looking to understand how IFS loads data into the system incrementally during data migration. You have to think about IFS as a whole system not just a strict set of components. For the TEST-A-REST data sampling, the data can be pushed into a QA cloud environment which has inspired this question. Is is possible to determine a load order from the IFS oracle tables which must adhere to table constraints and foreign key understanding. I understand that generally; CustomerSuppliersParts  Have to be loaded into the system before orders can be migrated in to avoid cascade errors. Is it possible to understand a loading order for IFS oracle table names based on the above information?? I need a full list of IFS oracle tables in the correct order which will allow data to be loaded without any cascading errors occuring.

How use the field Notes in Absences

Hello everyone, I hope you're all well. A quick question about absences. I've seen that there is a ‘Notes’ field on Absence Registration and Absence. But I can't enter any text in it, it's greyed out and nothing is indicated.Does anyone know what it's for and how to use it? I tried to find it through the process of declaring an absence but nothing worked...

Register Direct Delivery EDI/MHS

Dear community,  Using the same instance of IFS, with multi company, multi site, we have a scenario where SITEA buys parts from a supplier via SITEB (different companies). The supplier delivers the parts direct to SITEA, however SITEB processes the supplier invoice.  I have used EDI/MHS and Purch Order Direct supply code to automate most of the processes however I cannot see how I can do the purchase order receipt at SITEA, which then registers the Direct Delivery in SiteB so that the customer order can be closed and the supplier invoice matched. From the help i see that typically the Supplier would provide the direct delivery EDI to SITEB. I thought i could use the Receiving Advice EDI/MHS from SITEA to SITEB however this requires the customer order lines been delivered to match the receiving advice. Since it is Purch Order Direct there is no delivery of the customer order line.  I’ve attached a diagram of the flow to try and explain the above graphically. This must be possible and ma

Digitalize picking process

Every picking is based on pick reports from IFS, these reports are paper formats which is handed out to the operators. Ideally, this process should be digitalized where you get a digital pick list and check everything that has been picked instead of do picking based of a paper report. Anyone has worked with this type of requirement?
