Hello, We are using IFS Applications 9. I need to generate a report and am wondering where the division and product information of pre-posting is sourced from. Could you please let me know the table or view name that contains this data? Thank you!

We are trying to consolidate a reporting entity whose accounting (functional) currency is than the parent node whose accounting currency is USD. We are not able to get the Historical Consolidation Rates to work on certain general ledger accounts we wish to translate at a historical exchange rate rather than the current month rate.We have populated the Historical Consolidation Rates page with the entity and account and historical amounts both in USD and the sub-node currency. We have chosen the option "Keep Balances Separated by Reporting Entity" for this account.  Are there other settings we need to engage in order for this to feature to work ? Thanks in advance for any assistance

Hi! Are there any possibility to add a penalty fee on the interest invoices in IFS10 and/or IFS Cloud?

Project Managers and Controllers need an easy way to access the Sales Contract directly from the Project definition screen. This would save time and improve accuracy. Without this link, finding and verifying sales contracts is slow and can cause frustration, lowering productivity. As the list of contracts grows, it will become even harder and more inconvenient to search for the linked sales contract. Right now, users have to filter and search through the list one by one, which is not convenient.  

Hello everyoneI’m looking for the packages / procedures to use to generate an informative and / or a confirmation popup, but can’t find it.For error, we use “Error_Sys.Appl_General” procedure which trigger an error modale/pop-up on the cloud client, but for user experience, I’d like to use different kind of popup corresponding to the result of the action.Thank you

Hello Community, When I start a process from the context menu, I change a field in the form.But the screen shows a confirmation to save the changes (yes/no/cancel).My expectation from the context menu:When it starts the process, it should make the change (db - modify) and refresh the record. it should not ask for confirmation. Visual Studio (frm) IFS Screen:context menuafter clickActually, after clicking on the menu, the save happens. But it still asks for confirmation. RegardsBaris

Hi All,I am facing below situation and I found a workaround for this but I am wondering whether it is the right path for this. I believe customers and partners who implemented export control can help me to understand this one. My customer is based in UK and using export control and they have the same part that they sell to customers in other countries and also sells to customers in UK. So ideally, customer expects to see below.If the End user customer is from any other country other than Australia, export control restriction should kicks in and valid license should be needed to connect.  If the sale end user is with in Australia, Export control restriction should not be kicked in. And IFS should allow the process the customer order without any issues.But in the 2nd scenario that I mentioned. I cannot get my head around it.We are setting the Export controlled to Yes on the Master part record. So basically this means, part is export controlled irrespective of the customer based location

Hi Team, During stock counting, we found that for a part there is an additional quantity that is not included in any PO’s. As a result it is not received into inventory during goods receipt and not reflecting on Inventory Parts In Stock window.For manually receiving the particular stock into inventory, we are using “Receive Inventory Parts” window, where we are specifying the Quantity Received = 1 & required warehouse location. As there is no traceability for the part quantity, in Define Cost Structure window, we are deleting existing Cost Bucket associated with the part and adding a new Cost Bucket having Cost/Unit as 0.01. However, when I am going to Inventory Parts In Stock window, it is not showing the correct Total Inventory value & Unit Cost (both values getting changed but incorrect values) although the quantity has been updated.Note: Inventory Valuation Method for particular part is : Weighted AverageHumbly request you to please help me on this.Best Regards,Rakesh

Does anyone face the problem with big amount of rows in this table? There are over 5mln unique sequence numbers, over 100mln of rows. It looks like most of entries come from wadaco processes.After short code review there is no any cleanup proces to purge this table. There is only on API procedure to delete entries(Shop_Material_Assing_Util_API.Clear_Reserve_Locations) but I think it should be possible to schedule cleanup process for that.  

Is there any way to auto-complete the QTY to Move field with the quantity from the field Available Qty to Move on the screen below?

Hi all,My organisation are looking to implement the eBuyer extension for IFS App10 and we have it installed in one of our test environments. However I am struggling with the technical setup. Routing rules, routing addresses, transformers and punchout urls ++I have all the basic setup in place and a good understanding of how the functionality works. I am struggling to find resources that can help me with the required setup. Therefor I am looking for anyone on this Community with experience with eBuyer and the mentioned topics that would be available for a quick chat or meeting?Please DM me if you have any eBuyer knowledge and are willing to share;-) Would be much appreciated.Thanks! 

We faced problem with long synchronization time. I switched on mobile cleanup processes but I see that some apps/devices are not removed. I have many entries like this:  Is it a normal behavior? I do not think so. Entry is Active and Last Access over year ago.

Is it possible to define which column and which order a table is sorted in, when that screen is opened ? In Apps 10, you could save a search and specify which sort to sort and order by. I can’t see any way to do this in Cloud 23R2.

Hello IFS Community, We’ve encountered an issue in our environments that we wanted to raise here to see if anyone else has experienced something similar. After each release update, we’ve noticed a particular background job related to PaceJet becoming active. The database tasks is FRTINT Process Shipments at Pacejet. This job runs once every minute. To manage this, we’ve been turning it off manually, but it seems like a more sustainable solution would be for this job to remain off by default in the upgrade scripts unless explicitly required.  We first observed this behavior after accepting 23R1, but it has presented after 23R2 and 241. Has anyone else come across this issue? If so, how have you handled it, and have you been able to work with IFS to implement a more permanent resolution? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences. Thanks in advance,

I have a Lobby element that is connected to a datasource that is using an IAL to get the data. I can’t seem to get the navigation to work in the lobby element to open up Customer Order Lines and filter that by a custom field. I’ve set the datasource in the List in Page Designer after I added in the custom field as well and it still errors out with this: "The property 'Free_Charge_Reason', used in a query expression, is not defined in type 'IfsApp.CustomerOrderLinesHandling.CustomerOrderJoin'."}] Is their something I’m missing here? 

Dear All,I am currently working on an integration where I need to send a CSV file to an SFTP location.The application message has been successfully created. However, I observed that, although I intended to send a CSV file, the message input data contains an XML file instead.  The expected file name is correctly specified in the address data section.At present, the SFTP sender is deactivated, which is causing an error. Therefor I am unable to check the actual file.My concern is if the file type mismatch could impact the successful completion of the application message. I would appreciate it if anyone could share their thoughts or insights on this matter.Thank you in advance for your assistance.Nija

Hi everyone, i need some help.We have a custom field added to FinNoteText LU which is the one used by the notes list in Posting Proposal page but i can not add it in aurena.I tried looking for the entity in entity configuration but it is not listed there.Any idea on why i can’t add this custom field to the list? or why i can’t find the entity configurationit does not show at all.

Hi, sorry was not able to phrase the question better, but here’s my issue: I’m trying to do a customization in IFS Cloud, where I have to add a new attribute to two different entities (InstantInvoice & CustomerOrderInvHead). In both cases I do it the same way, in a Developer studio project choose to customize the respective entity, and then add a new attribute to the -Cust entity. Below is a screenshot of the Instant Invoice one: For Instant Invoice, this works as expected, developer studio generates a .cre file that can be used to add the new column to the InstantInvoice table. However, the issue I’m running into is that the other entity, CustomerOrderInvHead, is somehow a different kind of an entity, and doing the same customization to it does not yield a .cre file at all, and it seems as if the whole entity does not contain an underlying table, but rather is just extended from the Invoice entity. In such a case, how am I supposed to add a new attribute to it?

Hello, We have the following scenario in PSO. Normally, all activities are fixed to a planned start time and to a resource.When I want to change the resource per Drag and Drop, I always have to fix the start time. For example, in the screenshot below, it should be 10:00 (this is the planned time coming from IFS Cloud) and I have to correct the 10:07. I know this can be solved by using the “Edit” option instead of Drag and Drop, but the dispatcher would like to use the Drag and Drop functionality and in the same time avoid correcting the hour, since they will have to do a lot of manual changes in a day and they have to be very quick.Is there any way to make this process easier and faster for the dispatcher? Thank you very much,Iulia
