I have been tryong to edit a Report using Report Designer, but whatever I do, when I go to print, the change is not visible.The users want to add a small gap between Invoie No and Date on a Customer Ledger Open Item report. I exported the Schema, Layout and Style Sheet to my local PC from the Report DefiitionI opened the report and found the relevant fields an moved them about to create the gap.I saved the report and could see that only the the xsl file had been updated.I re-imported that xsl file back into the Report DefinitionBut when I run the report, nothing has changed. The 2 fields still run into each otherWhat am I missing?I suspect I am missing a step, but what I have done SEEMS correct.Anyone got any idea what I am missing?ThanksRoger

Hi all,We’re on Cloud 23.2.0I have added a new persistent field “Task Chargeable” in the entity - JtTask and it works fine on the below page (Work Task Debrief page on Tech Portal). The system saves the change of value on the field correctly.  But when I add the same group (WORK TASK REPORT IN GROUP) to the main page, and when I try to toggle the value, it doesn’t save the changes. But any other field in the same group if I change the value it saves. Does anyone know why it doesn’t save the value changes? Thanks.  

Is there any possibility to have issue inventory as entry and another process for approve it and update stock?currently there is only one screen to issue inventory and update immediately the stock quantity.Thank you

Hi,We've encountered an issue within Workflow User Form, specifically in the header and labels, where using locales other than 'en', it does not seem to work as expected. We're trying to implement Norwegian language support, and we've used the standard locale code 'no' for Norwegian. However, the resulting dialog does not display in Norwegian as it should.We've attempted the following configuration in the Workflow User Form:  Despite this setup, the dialog with Norwegian language selected, the Workflow User Form appears as follows:Are 'en' for English and 'no' for Norwegian the correct locale codes for the header and labels in a Workflow User Form? Has anyone else experienced this issue, or is there a different approach we should be taking? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

So, I am creating a Transport Task From Site 1, Location A to Site 2 Location B (which has a drop off Transit location X).  The Transport Task applies the the drop off location and moves the part accordingly but it does not create another transport task automatically from Drop off Transit location X to Location B. What could be the reason? All previous Transport Tasks are on executed status.I have checked this in App10 and Aurena/Cloud also.

Hi workflow experts,I have configured a workflow with a IFS REST Call. When I get an error response, I want to show the exact error I see from POSTMAN(body of the response). However , currently it shows the main error code 500 but does not show the embedded error ‘[422] Unprocessable Entity’.Any thoughts on how to show full error message to the user?IFS ErrorPOSTMAN error

Hi,In the App9, we are getting the below error occasionally when printing the report. "Exception : ORA-20105: requestFormatting: GENREPORTIO:Could not generate report: pos;TRANS_ERROR:Failed transforming report data : pos;org.w3c.dom.DOMException: The given node (type: 1, name: g) was not created by the current document.pos;pos;"  if we restart the faulty line in the Print Manager, it works.Any idea on solving this error? Thanks!Dilka

Is there way to remove a terminated employee or customer contact from the list of values in Cloud?  We have tried blocked and hidden options on the user.  When using initials in a field, the use doesn’t appear, but when using the find feature for the LOV he does.  We would like to be able to alleviate past, inactive users/ contacts from the LOV’s.   

Hi Community,My customer is facing a problem when loading in external file. They are trying to read in a text file with file type .dav but the system gives ‘’restricted file type’’ -error. However, the workaround they have been using is to just rewrite the file type form .dav → -csv after which the system allows the file.Does anyone have any idea why doesn’t the external file template allow the file type .dav?In the input file load file type we have allowed all file types. Also, it was tested to only allow .dav files but neither works for this. 

Hi Team,I’m using the Attachment functionality in mobile to capture attachments for ESCALATION table.From the  mobile screen by using the Attachment icon of (user_def13 field inside escalation table).After uploading  an attachment and while saving  the record , the data inserted in to user_def13 field as a negative integer value such as -1, -2, etc., in the DB instead of the filepath.To solve this issue, we followed the below steps:1-We created a table called "c_escalation_attachment."2-In that, we added columns attachment ID, escalation ID, and c_user_def1.Then, we mapped the relationship, one with the escalation table and one with the attachment table.Then, in the default definition, we mapped c_user_def1 with the attachment_name of attachment table.After that, we also mapped the c_escalation_attachment table in the escalation table.Then, in the mobile version, we added the same c_user_def1 as the attachment field and tried to insert the data again.After filling in the data and submi

Hi everyone,Is it possible (with IFS Developer Studio) to create LOV not displaying ID (key), only description?On below screen there is blue marked ID and red marked Description.I’d like only description visible to user and ID only save to DBLOV code in .client file looks like below  lov CustomerIdRef with CCustomerInfoSelector2 {      description = "${CustomerIdRef.Name}";   }This is simple example based on CustomerInfo  but in real i have dictionary with ugly keys (GUID) and i do not want to show it to users :)I think i need LOV instead for example Lookup because i need to filter LOV2 based on choosen value from LOV1.Thanks 

We are down a person in my group at the moment and the person who normally does this step to setup a new user in IFS is not available.This said, how do I set a user default buyer like I used to do in 10 IEE in cloud? This is all I need to set and I can’t find it anywhere in cloud.

I am trying to create a Read Only custom field (P2P_EXEMPT) on the Posting Proposal screen that looks at another custom field (P2P_EXEPEMTION) on a different screen (Supplier) select cf$_IR35_exemption as P2P_EXEMPTfrom ifsapp.SUPPLIER_INFO_GENERAL_cfvwhere supplier_id=:identity As sql this runs and returns the CF2 valueHowever, when I put this code into the CF1 build, I get this error when I try to Approve the new field  I have tried both v and t in the ArgumentI have tried everything I can think of and everything gives this errorI have tried this direct accessI have tried using an IALI have added a function to a an APII have created a functionIn all cases the object works and I can select the value I want BUT when I try to out it into the Custom field, I get the above errorDoes anyone know what the issue is?We are using Apps9 Upd 17Any ideas? Hello,I have IFS Cloud Installation Using 22R1 using remote deployment on Azure Storage.If there any way to use Azure Storage for DocMan. I have tired using Shared Path but seems its working.in This i have created Repositotary Address using \\<ServerName>\<path mapped on the server given user name password for the server. Added Same Address in Repositotary and used port 22 (SCP) as the azure storage path is mapped to linux server. But While check in the document its failing to connet to the Respositotary.Please suggest. Storing documents on Database is not a very good option.RegardsPankaj

We have a number of projects that we keep getting an error stating 'Project cannot be completed until all active acquisition values referring to this project has been moved in IFS|Fixed Asset.'The process to follow to get the error is:Go to Financials|Project Accounting|Project, then search for one of the projects, RMB and select Rollback Sub Project Completion. Complete the necessary fields on the window and click ok, this is when we then get the error.In Object Transactions Analysis window those objects/FA records are with object transaction value type as "Acquisition" and status as "Ready". Please guide to resolve the error above Best regardsZuha

I am currently facing issue with my IFS Application. It seems that error is appearing on every pages as shown below.I suspect this might have occurred because I mistakenly deployed some components (FNDBAS, APPSRV, ENTERP) files which were not required to deploy while I was doing the practices in the training environment of Mobile Development Training.Could anyone please guide me how to resolve it. Thanks,Sumit
