Question

unable to populate employee information on Employee File page

Forum|alt.badge.img+4

After creating a new company in IFS we are unable to populate the employee file by clicking in population or using the F2 in Keyboard.

Few employees have been created.

But using the search the employees could be found.

Why is the function POPULATE not working?

Hi @Vishmala

You will get this error when there is no employee is connected to the current logging user. Go to Persons window and query for the user ID you used to login. Then check the connected person for the user ID and see if there is any employee connected for that person.

Best Regards,

Tharindu

Normally, even the employee without USER should appear in Employee File. I am not sure I understand your explanation.

Hi,

If the employees created are in status “Preliminary” they will not appear if you populate (F2), but they will show if you query (F3) Given that you have access to employees starting in the future or HR Application manager access.

Maria

The solution is found.

In the page employee Status the list of status by default with the “*” and “**” was not deleted. The list should have been Active, preliminary, terminated, inactive...

Hi again,

You can use * and ** these are standard values but you can call them what you want. The important thing is how they are defined regarding the ticked checkboxes for active / preliminary

Maria
