In project module, sub project no code and actvitiy no code are limited to 10 char. is there a way to increase the limit, because it doesn't let us create more than 5 wbs if we use “.” in between wbs codes like “1.2.3.4.5.”

IMO, employing numerous WBS levels in this manner is not advisable even though it is possible to have sub projects within sub project.
Nevertheless, you can utilize the Activity Short Name field, which allows up to 50 characters though it is not a direct solution. Check if it can be used for the requirement instead.
Thank you for your reply, it is possible to have unlimited sub project one below the other, but WBS coding is limited, this is meaningless.
forming WBS codes like that it helps me to follow predecessors and successors by just looking at the code.
our projects have numerous WBS levels. Sometimes it reaches to 11th node. and this is very usual for us.
I thought using Activity Short Name field as well, but it doesn't not show up in Gantt.
