Global Company Lobbies

I created a lobby for our Accounts Receivable team to show customers balance and past due amounts. The list is drillable so they can go right to the customer invoices. The issue that I’m having is that you can change the company in the lobby, but when you drill into the table it goes to the global company and not the company selected in the lobby. Is there any way to have it drill to the correct company?

Cloud 23R1 - Connecting custom event to database task

Hi All, In IEE i can choose EVENT_SYS.EVENT_EXECUTE for method name and set the event_id as my new custom event.  In 23R1 its not available.  Is there are another way i can trigger a custom event using a database task? Thanks,Dhanush

TCP vs. TCPS Protocol for JDBC Database Connection

I know that the JDBC database connection can be changed in the MWS Admin console to switch ro another database. So, it follows that we could change the protocol from TCP to TCPS.The question is: Since TCP is automatically placed in the database connection string, will IFS support the TCPS protocol, or is that configured somewhere in the Oracle database?

Unable to create IAL as NOT live data in IFS Cloud?

When trying to create an IAL that is not “Create IAL for live data only” it still creates the IAL as Live data only.  IFS Cloud 22R2.9.Has anyone else seen this or have any ideas?I need to create some scheduled IALs for large views to use in queries, and using live data is far too slow.Example: Creating a new IAL with the option for live data only disabled: The IAL is created without any error but it is only for Live data and cannot be scheduled: And no option to Update Now or Schedule the refresh from the IAL details screen either: But I can see in the database that the table needed to store the data has been created in the IAL_OWNER schema:

Customer order line focus

Is there a way to change the order that IFS wants columns completed on the Customer Order Line in IEE?  When you add a new line, it automatically defaults to the Sales Part No field.  We want to start with the Customer’s PO No field.

IFS APP9 Middleware SSL Setup using Wildcard

Hi,I was hoping someone could help me with the correct ssl certificate (purchased wildcard) format for apps9 when configuring middleware to use SSL.  I have tried the basic pfx with password but it seems to fail, and other posts suggest some work with OpenSSL to convert, I am familiar with using OpenSSL so if anyone had a quick guide of how to configure the certificate for use in the middleware installer it would be much appreaciated.

Performance tuning required for an upgrade script

IFS Cloud projection customization to use Boolean / check box

Hi all, Using the developer studio I’ve created a customization to add a column to a projection. When saving a record in the form I need the projection action to pass the value of this new column for processing in a database package. This all works fine when I set the attribute in the entity details to type Text. However I would like this to be a check box, passing either TRUE or FALSE to avoid users having to type in true or false themselves. desired check box When I attempt to use the attribute type Boolean(“TRUE”, “FALSE”) as I have seen in some core implementations, after deploying the change I always receive an “Error While de-serializing contents error when saving a record. Custom LU field attributes

I have a Custom LU with a Custom Page.  The LU has a persistent field and I'd like to force record creation for that field to be unique values that are not blank.  I do not see a way to do this with Custom Configurations.  Am I missing something, or is it not possible?.

Tracking Transactions in IFS Cloud

In the past "Fnd_Session_API.Get_Machine_" worked to return the value of the machine on transactions. I am needing to enable this to track transactions happening within IFS Cloud and what machine these requests are coming from. Fields are read only (IFS7.5)

We have an issue with IFS Enterprise Explorer 7.5. From time to time after launch and login user is not able to edit fields/check boxes/etc. Fields become greyed out. After some time everything returns to normal.We have checked multiple solutions and when issue occurs nothing helps: use other computer/delete folder 2.0 and run instalation of IEE by link (Edge/IE/Chrome). Do you have any advice?

Mail Sender configuration.

We have created an Application Server Task with a noreply@ email address as “Email Sent From”: and in Setup IFS Connect – Mail Sender looks like this:   Still, the email arrives from the user account s_azure.smtp@: We have tried with “Override mail sender” both checked and unchecked, but this doesn’t change anything.Anyone with the same issue, or with a solution for it?

How is locale set on Application message

Hi,Do anyone know how IFS Connect select locale on application messages in IFS 10 (upd20)?We have an inbound soap gateway integration where error messages suddenly got translated to swedish instead of english. We see that the locale on the application message has changed from en-US to sv-SE so we think that is connected to the translated messages. The fnd user in this case (initiated by) has language “en” and default language in system parameters is also “en”. The https call does not have any header info with locale/language info.

dear all,In the first image I added, a window is visible in the test environment. In the second image, in the prod system, this area is not visible when logging in with the 'ifsapp' user. The result remains unchanged. What could be the reason for this situation?

There is a difference between the days displayed on the gantt and the days in the activity details:Days displayed in the activity details are work days whereas days displayed on the gantt are calendar dates. It is so frustrating not being able to synchronize these two...

HR Assistant Configuration - Query on custom fields/pages

Within the HR Assistant Configuration I cannot see any way add custom fields or create a new custom pages etc. Is there anyway the HR Assistant can be updated to include custom fields or a custom page as a configuration step.

Lobby - sorting records

Hello.On a lobby, I updated the data source to sort data from the CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINE view, the sort is now done on WANTED_DELIVERY_DATE.On the desginer, I have a link to navigate to ifsapf:tbwOverviewCustOrdLine_Ext, but strangely, records are not sorted on the destination page.What’s the way to sort data when I navigate to ifsapf:tbwOverviewCustOrdLine_Ext through the lobby?

Apps10 Aurena - datasource for singleton error

We are experiencing an error on Apps 10 Aurena (Update 14 in Production and Update 19 being tested on non-Production environment). It is: “The datasource for the singleton must not contain more than one record”. Initially I was seeing it when on the ‘Invoices to Authorize’ screen and clicking the links to  Invoice History,  Invoice Info and Authorization Details.  But now I see that I am also getting the error when trying to view the pages from within a permission set. I tried it with the debug console loaded but all it shows is this We currently are only using Aurena to authorize PO’s and invoices and have been doing that for the last few years. I suspect that users are not using these links on the Invoices to Authorize window because I  definitely would have heard complaints.I have tried granting myself fnd_admin, also a permission that grants all projects but I cannot get passed the error. And the fact that I get it from within the permission set is extra puzzling.If anyone has some

Bold font not enabled in report designer

hi all,The bold font option is not enabled in report designer tool. Could you please guide how to enable it?The font selected is Arial. This option is enabled for other users who are using same desktop to access the report designer tool and for a few users, its not enabled.

Hi all,Is it possible to insert hyperlink in Report designer? The user wants to see only summary data in the main report output pdf with a link for each row. When clicked on that link, it should open another pdf with Details of the row selected. Kindly guide.Regards,Naija
