Hi,We are on IFS cloud and planning upgrade from 23R1 SU10 to 24R1 SU2 and our integration-team wants to be prepared.Anyone who knows what API´s and/or projections that has changed from 23R2 to 24R1?And changed customfields from 23R2 to 24R1? Or any other information specifically interesting regarding integrations to repare and test the new version.

Error Message "The view for this page and logical unit do not match. It is not possible to add a Custom Field to this page"

After restore a dump of the DB in our DEV enviroment, we got the following Error Message“The view for this page and logical unit do not match. It is not possible to add a Custom Field to this page” This happens an different page, when we click the RMB - Custom Objects - Fields - Overview.We have this only on the DEV and not on the TST enviroment.IFS APP 10, Update 10

Calico Software

We have an issue with Calico.It seems that this issue has already been reported by others customers.But the question is : is-it normal Calico is reading authentification information with the token?We have some alerts due to this reading. Our solution is to exclude Calico. Do you have any feedbacks?

CORS Handling in Aurena

We have an IFS Aurena Webpage set up, and we’re trying to set up a Blazor web applications to handle some of the data. When trying to fetch or call to our IFS Aurena webpage to GET data, we’re met with CORS Policy.Access to fetch at 'https://ourAurenaPage/something.svc' from origin 'https://webapplication' has been blocked by CORS policy: Request header field authorization is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Headers in preflight response.

Input Range not filtering in order reports in IFS10 Aurena

hi all,I created an order report with 3 input parameters: Project ID, Sub Project ID and Activity. When i enter a range in project id input eg: PROJ1..PROJ10 , then next input parameter sub project id is not getting filtered based on the project ids in this range. It is showing all subproject id values irrespective of the project id range I entered. I gave below conditions in REP view columns^QUERY=Project:^QFLAGS=OW-BL^REF=C_CLS_PROJECT_LOV^^QUERY=Sub Project:^QFLAGS=OC---^REF=C_CLS_SUB_PROJECT_LOV(PROJECT)^and below conditions in LOV view column commentsCOMMENT ON COLUMN C_CLS_SUB_PROJECT_LOV.PROJECT_ID IS 'FLAGS=PMI-L^DATATYPE=STRING(100)^PROMPT=Project ID^'; COMMENT ON COLUMN C_CLS_SUB_PROJECT_LOV.SUB_PROJECT_ID IS 'FLAGS=KMI-L^DATATYPE=STRING(100)^PROMPT=Sub Project ID^The filtering is working fine in IFS10 IEE, but not working in Aurena. center-align barcodes

Is it possible to center-align barcodes in the IFS report designer? As I see, barcodes grow from left to right, so this does not seem possible. Let me know if there is any way to do it.

Chinese Taiwan(Traditional Chinese) Translations are not working in MWO

Hi,We have a request from a customer to enable traditional Chinese in IFS Cloud for for both Aurena and MWO. I know this is not listed as a supported language by IFS in IFS Cloud but we looking in to all possible options and solutions to the issues we have seen atm after enabling. After enabling Transitional Chines(through BP) and handling relevant translations, we could see translations properly in Aurena client with 23R2. But With the WMO, we see some discrepancies. Translations works fine using Android phone but not using iPhone(13). How we handle this? Since this is not a translation supported by IFS in IFS Cloud, will it be possible to get a solution (at least a workaround) to cater customer requirement for iPhone(13).Any advise or information is much appreciated! Custom field not showing in Aurena

Hi, im triying to recreate the contacts list that is in customer/address but in project definition, i added customer_info_contact entity in the ProjectDefinitionHandling projection and im propperly filtering the contacts based on the addres using bindings and that LU has a custom field with the name of the contact but for some reason that custom field is not available to be added in my list. This is the list im creating in project_definition This are the available fields that i can add to my listThis are the custom fields in the LUAnd by some reason, if i try to modify the list in customer/address, i see completely different fields availableHere is the definition of the list in customer/address This are the custom fileds available in the customer/address list including the custom fieldsDoes anyone have any idea why this is happening or how could i fix it?

The External Batch Load File already exists error

Hi Everyone,We are trying to automate the process of External File Assistant for Vouchers, Customer Invoices and Supplier Invoices by having a Reader and Routing Rule to pick up a file when dropped into the SFTP server folder, and to execute the relevant logic through a Custom Event.However the Reader picks up the file, but in the Application Messages it fails with the following error:ORA-20112: ExternalBatchLoadFile.FND_RECORD_EXIST: The External Batch Load File already exists.When we query and check the External_Batch_Load_File_Tab we can see the record has been created though. Is it trying to create it again?The Reader is as below (ignore the Enabled toggle, its enabled when testing):And Routing Rule as below: Anyone who has come across this issue?Best Regards,Devin Amarasekara

Changing view used in an Aurena list

Hi, im trying to replicate a contacts list from customer address into project definition but i´ve realized that the view being used is different in customer address and the one i defined in project definition This is the list i want to replicate, as you can see the view used is Customer_info_contactThis my list in project definition which uses Customer_Info_Contact_CLVIs there a wayt to change what view my list will use? or if is not possible any idea on what i could try?i just want to show the same fields as in the customer address listPS. When i add the entity to the projection for projectDefinition this the only entity shown

No "Save" Button on Migrated Lobby Elements

Dear Community We have recently upgraded from Apps9 to IFS Cloud. For the migrated Lobby Elements, the SAVE button does not appear when attempting to edit them (see below). How to replace EDI messages from IFS8 in IFS Cloud?

Hello,Do you think the following approach will be effective in replacing EDI messages from IFS8 in IFS Cloud?For outbound EDI messages from IFS8, convert JSON to XML using a transformer (perhaps the standard one IFS_JSON_TO_XML_GENERIC?) and apply customized transformers to map fields from EDI messages to IFS Cloud projection fields.The same logic for inbound, but in a different direction and with the assumption that BizAPIs that were used are no longer available in the Cloud.If yes then mappings between EDI and Cloud projection for different types of messages are required, do you have something like that?Or perhaps you have any other ideas to fulfill the requirements?Best regardsBart

If I’m building an entity file on the customization layer, I see the DATATYPE supports both IFSCURRENCY and CURRENCY. What’s the difference between these? Which is preferred?To my surprise, most of the standard pricing and costing fields are NUMBER, so when is it recommended to use one of these currency formats when creating a new field?

IFS CLOUD 22R2 - Custom Event Action Type : Rest Call error

Hi All, I created a simple Custom Event with Event Action Type Rest Call and Called a POST Action.e.g.Rest End Pointhttps://puhawa5-ru-del1.build.ifs.cloud/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/PurchaseAdditionalCostTypesHandling.svc/PurchaseAdditionalCostTypes Authentication = ROPC.When I trigger the event , it gives me the same error in Application messages even if I use a different Rest End Point. This seems to be a bug (even if I have done something wrong) as I am not sure why I get following error.“ExecutionException from Sender thread Caused by: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: Index 1 out of bounds for length 1”I cannot find any issue with the payload. Event Action type Application message not working in IFS Cloud

We tried to use event action type Application message to route the event payload through IFS Connect and looks like the functionality if not working in IFS Cloud.Error 1:When the event is based on a custom entity, it gives an error while triggering the event. It looks like the error is due to XML elements created for custom attributes contain $ signError 2:for core entities, application message generates successfully but the input message data is empty. Noticed that Plsqlap_Server_API.Create_Application_Message___ logic for creating application message from event action does not add the payload to message_value column in fndcn_message_body_tab which is the cause for this. This is really convenient feature when there are many entities need to send data to a single endpoint, so instead of adding the rest api details in each and every event action, you can define it in a single routing address and use IFS connect to send the data.We would like to know the feedback from framework PD team w

Deployment error with Data Migration Manager

Hi, when deploying with the "SUPPLIER_INFO_GENERAL" view using Data Migration Manager, I get this error:I guess the problem comes from the fact that the metadata "AUTO_GENERATED", column "DEFAULT_LANGUAGE" and column "COUNTRY", there is no value : I don't see why this problem occurs, since it's not present in the other views.The error seems to be almost the same as this topic on Community :https://community.ifs.com/topic/show?tid=23864&fid=333I've tested the solution but nothing changes.Can you help me?Thanks in advance.IFS Cloud version: 23R2 SU1

Storing Data in a Virtual

Does IFS have the ability to have a function that retrieves a multi-record dataset be stored in a virtual that then is displayed in a list on a page? I am following the documentation, and the function doesn’t seem to return anything and I feel like I'm missing something. the query is using a view that does not have an entity and the purpose of this is to only list the results and allow the users to drill into the detail of the records if need be. Micro Cache performance in quick reports

During the process of upgrading from Apps 9 to Cloud we have noticed a number of Get- apis have been updated to use a micro-cache method rather than a sub query:https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/23r2/060_development/027_base_server_dev/060_performance/010_plsql-performance/001_micro_cache/#micro_cache_micro_cache_array_implementation The performance hit on a quick report using these apis as been quite dramatic. Is there a was to speed these calls up? We obviously have the option to put sun-queries direct in the report but there could be lots of them. Thanks.
