We need to connect 800 users to a Company and perhaps multiple Sites.Do we really have to do this 800 times manually in 2023 ? What about when projects have 20.000 users?I’m sure it’s possible to do this with a database run, but considering those can be difficult in Managed Cloud (this question got directed from a ticket to Community, so there doesn’t seem to be any ready capability for this) .Any pointers or good experiences you’ve had?There are news that 23R1 would enable Permission Sets for SCIM users, so that takes care of that part - but Companies and Sites remain an issue.

Mask/Sanitize Development database

We’re working through a Cloud upgrade with a remote deployment. I’m running into a lot of performance issues, and I’d like to explore using different antimalware solutions, different public clouds, and different on-prem hardware. Whenever I copy our production database somewhere, though, it creates a significant business risk, so I need a full-sized copy of our system that has been made safe enough to use for this exploratory purpose. I need to mask or sanitize our entire database to reduce or eliminate the risk of our business data getting compromised. Question 1: Has anyone scrubbed a database like this? How did you do it? There’s a pack available for Oracle Database Enterprise Edition called the Data Masking and Subsetting Pack. I saw that it needs to be licensed for the source database, or in this case our PROD 9 database. Question 2: Does this pack need to be licensed for every user or just the IT users who are working in the sanitized environment? Even if I can manage to mask all

How to validate website field

Hello, I am trying to validate a custom field I created in IFS Cloud for the CustomerInfo entity. This field should store the customer’s website that we enter manually. The only issue is checking if the entered value is valid or not. I am creating a workflow to check if the entered value is a valid website or not and if it’s not, throw an error to the user.How can I achieve this? I’ve tried using script tasks to handle the website validation by using Boolean(new URL(varInputWebsite)) but IFS doesn’t recognize the new URL call. I’ve tried using a const regex value to handle this but IFS doesn’t like const’s it throws and error saying const const as if I’m defining this as a const twice, but when I remove my const it throws the same error. How do I go about doing this when I don’t know what IFS accepts and doesn’t accept from Javascript? Any and all input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bryan

IFS Apps10 - java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: unable to create new native thread

Good afternoon all, We’ve been having on-going memory related issues on our middleware server for a few months now. After around 2 weeks of usage our NodeManager seems to fail as the server runs out of memory. Normally a restart of the server is the fix however, with an increase in uses we’re worried this will need completing on a more regular basis. Can anyone assist in understanding how to fix this problem? We’ve already increased the memory allocation on our managed server of the MWS to the following:The lower limit is 04 GB and the upper limit is 06 GB for both Managed Servers. I suspect this was merely prolonged the failure and hasn’t resolved the issue. How to set default file location for Excel Output

When using the Output option under a screen to output data on a screen to Excel, I expected the output to be saved in the default location set in my Excel if I click the Save button on in Excel while in the file.However instead of going to my documents folder on the PC, which is my default save location in Excel, after alot of searching I found the files generated like this in IFS are actually going to an IFS temp folder instead, so the next time I log into my windows, they are gone.Where and how do I set my default location for files output to Excel from IFS this way to my normal Documents folder, if IFS is ignoring the default path set in my Excel options?Heres what I do:Output file with this option: When in Excel, press Save (not Save As), and then file ends up in the temp folder below instead of in my Documents folder.In the path below, user id is my actual user id, and the 2 digit number directory at the end changes name at each Windows logout / login.C:\Users\<userid>\AppDa

Task scheduling with an attr in IFS Cloud

Hello everyone,I would like to schedule the task below this button: I have retrieved the relevant procedure "Automatic_Matching" which is in the Oracle package "Auto_Acc_Matching_Util_API".I wanted to create a DB task with this procedure, but I have a problem. The procedure is not present in the list.Only one procedure is available: "Automatic_Matching_Background".This procedure could also work, but it only contains one parameter: an attr.So I created my attr in PL/SQL and then copied and pasted it into the parameter value: But when I paste its value, it doesn't save the attr in its entirety.Do you have a solution? Hello everyone, I’d like to divide two fields one is a custom field and the other is IFS stander. I created the following querySELECT (shm.Qty_Required) / (cfv.CF$_STANGGENGEWICHT) FROM Shop_Material_Alloc shm, Inventory_Part_Cfv cfvFirst, I get the wrong result, what is the problem in this query?Secondly, the field “Qty_Required” from view “Shop_Material_Alloc” includes wights in kg and pc’s. Custom event to make a Rest call with an Ordered List "[]"

There is a requirement of a Cloud Customer to make a REST Call using a Custom Event.Jason Body is bit complex and has Array Elements on it.Is there a way to fetch Array of Data to a REST Event without doing any Business Logic Changes? Only possible solution I can think of is to eliminate array elements and to send multiple messages against each Array Element, but the customer prefers to sent just one message with all elements.Appreciate any advice or recommendations.

Companies and Sites based on group

Can you grant permissions and Companies and Sites based on group membership? I have like 40 users that need access to a set of companies and sites. They all belong to the same group. I cannot figure out how to do this without opening each user and checking the box for the company/site needed… I want to do it for the group and have it inherit based on that. If that is not possible, how do you mass update users with a change like this? if 23 of the 40 users need a specific company and/or site, can I select them all and add them en mass? Can you select the site and multi-add users? Anything that lets us avoid having to do things one at a time?

How to export/access quick report - crystal report?

Hello, I would like to export a quick report we have that was made with crystal reports and uploaded to one of our environments for IFS Cloud. It’s a .rpt file but when I go to export the quick report, it gives me an XML file. The reference of this quick report has the crystal report file listed, but I can’t do anything with the filename. Are quick reports stored somewhere differently than how Operational Reports store their report layout files? Thanks,Bryan

PACTH Rest Outbound Call with Plsql_Rest_Sender_API

Dear all,we are using following procedure on IFS Cloud 22R2SU8 to make outbound rest call to another third party system (3PS).Plsql_Rest_Sender_API.Call_Rest_Endpoint_Json(rest_service_ => '3PS',json_ => json_user_detail_,url_params_ => url_params_,callback_func_ => '3PS_API.Get_Callback',http_method_ => 'POST',sender_ => 'IFS',receiver_ => '3PS',message_type_ => 'CONNECT',accepted_res_codes_ => '201,400,403,409,422');It works fine with POST, however it does not work with PATCH, most probably due to the following additional header parameter being added by default into the call and not accepted by the 3PS.
